Abstract

The aims of this study is to isolate and find the alkaloid compounds contained in the leaves of avocado (Persea americana Mill). The method used is the isolation of pure compounds to obtain isolates. 400 g of avocado leaves macerated with methanol solvent yield 53.41 gr of methanol extract. The results of column chromatography I yield 17 fractions, the fraction N12 is re-elected for column chromatography II. The results of chromatography N12 obtained isolate pure in fractions 7. This isolate is tested purity by using thin layer chromatography with eluent variations produce a single stain pattern, so it can proceed with the test isolate phytochemicals. The results of IR spectrophotometer data interpretation, isolate pure fractions 7 indicates the presence of alkaloid compounds having functional groups N-H (3311.55 cm-1), C-H aliphatic (2921.96 cm-1, 2850.59 cm-1), C=O (1735.81 cm-1, 1641.31 cm-1), C-N (1240.14 cm-1, 1130.21 cm-1), C-H Aromatic (910.34 cm-1, 846 cm-1), N-C=O (580.53 cm-1). The results of UV-Vis spectrophotometer from fractions 7 gives absorption wavelength of 238.5 nm indicating the occurrence of electron transition n * and n * which indicates the existence of C=O and N-H groups.

Abstract

Preparation of manganese oxide by sol-gel process has been studied. Mangese nitrate and isopropanol were used as precursor and solvent, respectively. The addition of various additives that used in this research were diethanolamine (DEA), ethylene diamine and ethylene gycol. The powders were formed by drying in the temperature of 110-110 oC and after heating at 500 oC for (1) one hour. The products were obtained black powders. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The XRD patterns showed Mn2O3 forms were produced generally. Crystallite sizes of Mn2O3 were obtained in the range 54-82 nm. SEM micrograph clearly showed that powder had a bulk surface and hollow with hollow size is 0.1-1.9 m approximately.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian pembentukan senyawa koordinasi dengan menggunakan ligan akrilamida dan asam adipat, dengan menggunakan beberapa ion logam transisi. Teknik yang digunakan dengan difusi perlahan pada suhu kamar. Dari hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa akrilamida sangat sulit untuk bisa berkoordinasi dengan ion logam walaupun senyawa ini memiliki mode koordinasi yang banyak dan potensial. Sementara asam adipat dengan dua buah gugus karboksilat pada kedua ujungnya memperlihatkan potensi membentuk kompleks baru setelah diuji permulaan dengan spektra Infra merah.

Abstract

Modeling protein Hemagglutinin virus Influenza A (H5N1 2/2005) telah dilakukan menggunakan server I-TASSER. Model yang didapatkan adalah 5 rancangan struktur tersier protein menggunakan template 2wr0 dan 2wr1. Kualitas struktur protein diukur berdasarkan geometri antar residu dengan residu lainnya dan geometry total struktur. Hasil analisis statistika Ramachandran didapatkan bahwa protein Model 2 merupakan model terbaik karena memiliki 86,2% residu yang berada pada most favored region, 11, 2% pada additional allowed region, 1,8% pada generously allowed region, dan 0,8% pada disallowed region.

Abstract

The study "web based of information system of lectures monitoring at Engineering Faculty " is intended to present lectures at the Faculty of Engineering activities are up to date and real time web based. The results of this study is expected to be a source of information for beneficiaries of education services either directly or indirectly. The information presented contains the activity classes held in each department in the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Gorontalo, which can be accessed via the internet browser and displayed through the big display in the lobby of the faculty. This study was made with the prototype method that allows sustainable development of information systems made by adjusting the needs and the latest in presentation technology and information systems within the framework supporting the management and development of Gorontalo State University as a university-based information technology (Information Technology / IT). From this research has developed a database called 'simpul' and web based of information system of lectures monitoring at Engineering Faculty, named 'simpul' that provides information information lectures at the Faculty of Engineering activities presented either through the internet browser and displayed in large displays that are placed in the lobby Faculty of Engineering, State University of Gorontalo.

Abstract

Isolation and Characterization of Alkaloid Compounds from Plant Sirsak (Annona muricata Linn.) Seeds. Have done the isolation and characterization of the alkaloid content in seeds of Sirsak (A muricata Linn) plant. Isolation was performed with the maceration extraction by using methanol solvent. Condensed methanol extracts fractionated successively with n-hexane and ethyl acetate. Further separation process that is focused on condensed methanol extract using column chromatography, as used silica gel stationary phase and mobile phase was a mixture of n-hexane: ethyl acetate, and ethyl acetate: methanol with gradient have. Purity of the isolates obtained was tested using Thin Layer Chromatography. Isolates were further characterized using UV-Vis and Infrared. The results of spectroscopic analysis of UV-Vis and Infrared (IR) suggested that isolates is a class of alkaloid compound with Alkaloids-Indole type that have characteristics of functional groups N-H, aliphatic C-H, C-N, C=C aliphatic, C=O, =C-H aromatic and provide wavelength spectra max 282.5 nm and 237.5 nm.

Abstract

It Has been studied the preparation of Titania thin film on glass plate by dip-coating method and their photocatalityc activity test in peat swamp water. This study is performed by using TIP as precursor and DEA as aditive in isopropanol. The addition of DEA affect the stability of titania solution. The titania thin film was made by dip-coating method on glass plate. The glass plate was coated on to titania solution, then dryed at 110 C for 10 minute and at 500 C for 30 minute. The titania coating on the glass plate was made by varying the titania concentration : 0,5 M ; 0,75 M and 1,0 M. Analiyzing of the products by XRD shown that the titania coating on the glass plate are in anatase form. By visual analysis an photo optic, the best film on the glass plate that is coated with titania 0,5 M solution. Based on the glass plate that is coated with titania 1,0 M solution with peat swamp water shown relative good (68,26%) fot the irradiation during 24 hours.

Abstract

Penelitian mengkaji secara teoritis model hibrid MARS ARIMA untuk prediksi data series karena pemodelan data deret waktu biasanya pada kondisi data dengan fluktuasi yang stasioner dan linier adalah cukup memadai dengan menerapkan metode Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) guna peramalan. Pemodelan deret waktu tak linier, salah satu adalah Multivariate Adaptive Regression Splines (MARS), Model hibrid MARS dengan ARIMA digabungkan karena setiap metode peramalan memiliki keunggulan dan kelemahan dalam menganalisis data, sehingga dapat diperoleh bentuk model terbaik dengan tingkat kesalahan (error) terkecil dalam meramalkan suatu kasus.

Abstract

Analysis of Chemical Components of Essential Oil Patchouli Plant, The Result In Steam Distillation Using The GC-MS. The aims of this study is to determine the chemical components of essential oils in patchouli plants. The method is steam distilation. Patchouli dried plant samples that have been chopped by 50 kg of steam distilled water to attract the patchouli oil components contained in the sample. The advantages of steam distillation is the hidrodifusition where moisture will get into the cell tissue of plant which resulting in rupture of the plant cell wall so that the oil contained in it will be pushed out. A mixture of water vapor and patchouli oil will flow to the condenser resulting in condensation and the resulting distilate. The distillate which containing oil and water separated by a separating funnel, until the patchouli oil. The oil which still contains water molecules that have been dried with MgSO4 previously prepared. The function addition of anhydrous MgSO4 is to bound water the which still contained in the oil. This isolation produced a yellow oil with a yield of 2,4%. The analysis of the chemical components of essensial oils is by using GC-MS. The results of using GC-MS analysis showed that there were 26 compound constituent of essential oils, with eight dominant peaks which are compounds: Patchouli alcohol (20,36%), Delta-guaiene (14,50%), Alpha-guaiene (12,89%), Pogostol (3,58%), Palustrol (1,64%), Beta-pinene (0,35%), Alpha-pinene (0,14%), and Alpha-patchoulena (7,54%). The main constituent of essential oil components are compound with patchouli alcohol levels obtained 20,36%.

Abstract

Permasalahan parkir sangat penting untuk dikaji lebih mendalam, karena hampir semua aktivitas kegiatan diruang terbuka memerlukan sarana tempat parkir. Ruang parkir yang dibutuhkan harus tersedia secara memadai. Sebab dengan semakin besar volume lalulitas yang beraktivitas baik yang meninggalkan atau menuju pusat kegiatan, maka semakin besar pula kebutuhan ruang parkir. Untuk mengkaji permasalahan tersebut, maka fokus penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi perilaku lalulintas terutama kendaraan yang berkunjung ke Pasar Sentral dan memerlukan parkir. Selanjutnya penganalisis langkah pemecahan masalah parkir dan menentukan konsep penataan ruang parkir yang aman dan nyaman. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 2 (dua) metode yaitu : 1). Metode penelitian lapangan (Field Research Method) yaitu pengamatan langsung pada lokasi untuk melihat kondisi fisik; 2) Metode Penelitian Kepustakaan (Library Research Method). Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara diskriptif dengan memberikan gambaran terhadap lokasi melalui identifikasi terhadap variabel-variabel antara lain analisis karakteristik parkir dan penataan ruang parkir yang dapat memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman. Hasil penelitian adalah karakteristik parkir di Pasar Sentral Gorontalo yang meliputi volume, akumulasi dan kapasitas parkir diperoleh temuan bahwa : 1). Volume parkir puncak tertinggi oleh pembeli / pengunjung terjadi pada hari minggu dengan mobil 98 kendaraan, bentor 142 kendaraan dan sepeda motor 237 kendaraan; 2). Akumulasi parkir puncak tertinggi terjadi pada hari minggu pukul 10.00-13.00 oleh pembeli / pengunjung dengan akumulasi 58 mobil per jam, 82 bentor per jam, 187 sepeda motor per jam; 3) Kapasitas parkir tertinggi oleh pembeli/pengunjung terjadi pada hari sabtu, yaitu untuk kendaraan mobil 37 kendaraan per jam, bentor 19 kendaraan per jam, dan sepeda motor 39 kendaraan per jam. Bentuk yang cocok untuk kegiatan parkir di pasar sentral Gorontalo adalah bentuk parkir 90odan bentuk parker sudut dengan kemiringan 45o. Demikian juga untuk konsep pola parkir dan penataannya dapat dibedakan atas : 1) parkir untuk pengunjung harus muda dicapai dan dekat dengan jalan sebagai akses utama; 2). Parkir pengelola harus dipisahkan dengan parkir pengunjung; 3) parkir hendaknya dapat dipisahkan berdasarkan jenis kendaraan.
