Abstract

This research explores the significance of local wisdom within the Teke dance of the Lea Tribe community in Degalea Village, Nangaroro District, Nagekeo Regency. We aim to identify how these local wisdom values can be integrated into guidance and counseling services. Our study employs a qualitative research design, utilizing documentation studies, observations, and in-depth interviews with informants and participants as research instruments. Data analysis follows a three-step process: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The findings reveal that the Teke dance embodies local wisdom values such as religious devotion, community togetherness, mutual cooperation, familiarity, and harmony, as evidenced in the choreography. Additionally, the sung poetry reflects local wisdom in family education, personal and social life, and leadership. These discovered values can be integrated into guidance and counseling services to enhance self-awareness and foster healthy, effective behaviors, particularly in addressing deviant behavior, preventing deviations, and promoting personal development within one’s social environment.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the principal's academic supervision at SMP Negeri 5 Gunungkencana. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was obtained from the Banten Province BPMP supervision instrument. The supervision instrument consists of a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), learning process, and assessment. The sample for this research was eight teachers consisting of five female teachers and three male teachers with varying subject expertise. The curriculum used is the 2013 Curriculum. In the RPP aspect, almost all teachers have made complete RPPs even though they are not yet systematic, although there is one teacher who has made RPPs systematically but not yet complete. In the aspect of the learning process, all teachers have carried out the learning process well starting from the introductory, core, and closing activities. Finally, in the assessment aspect, all teachers have carried out assessments in accordance with the three domains (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) of the 2013 Curriculum. It can be concluded that teachers at SMP Negeri 5 Gunungkencana have carried out learning well. It is hoped that the results of this supervision can become an illustration and reference for related parties, especially school principals, to improve teacher performance.

Abstract

Genre Pedagogy is a text-based learning model. The learning process in the curriculum in Indonesia is to present language learning activities that refer to the Genre Pedagogy model. Articles that have been published contain many genre pedagogical models used in foreign language and non-language learning. Why was this research carried out? Looking at the digital-based conditions and times related to strong literacy skills in understanding various types of text. The aim of the research is to review literature related to the application of genre pedagogical learning models that use technology or are digitally based. The research method used is analysis or bibliometric methods sourced from Scopus and Crossref metadata using the Publish or Perish application. Based on searches and analysis using the Publish or Perish search system, it can be seen that there has not been a single study that specifically links it to digital-based Indonesian language learning. Thus, research is still needed on the application of digital-based genre pedagogy to Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an increase in students' 4C skills in biochemistry practicum with the application of the project-based learning model. The design used in this study is a pre-experimental design with one class of research samples. The samples used in this study were students of the University's Chemistry Education Study Program who took the 2023/2024 Biochemistry Practicum course in class R-001. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire instrument. The questionnaire instrument was used to obtain 4C skills data. Data on 4C skills were analyzed using paired sample t-test. The application of the project-based learning model in biochemistry practicum resulted in an increase in students' 4C skills by 0.00. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' 4C skills in biochemistry practicum with the application of the project-based learning model.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the essence of local wisdom values in the oral tradition of Takanab traditional speech with a focus on efforts to shape children's character through guidance and counseling services. The method applied in this research is a qualitative descriptive method, with the research subjects being traditional elders who have a deep understanding of the Takanab traditional spoken language. The data collection approach includes semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis is carried out by data reduction, data display, and data verification. The research results show that the oral tradition of Takanab traditional speech includes moral, religious and cultural values that are significant in forming children's character. The research results concluded that in Takanab traditional speech there are values such as honesty, integrity, compassion, justice, responsibility, devotion, forgiveness, tolerance, courtesy, humility, respect, appreciation, hearing, recognition, empathy, sympathy, and discipline. These values can be the basis for forming children's character through information services, group guidance, group counseling and individual counseling in the implementation of guidance and counseling services. An oral tradition-based guidance and counseling approach emphasizes the importance of knowledge transmitted through stories, myths and oral experiences from generation to generation. Traditional narratives are used to provide views on life, values, and solutions to problems faced by individuals. This approach views oral traditions as a source of wisdom that can provide deep insight and help individuals understand the meaning of life in a cultural context and the values rooted in oral traditions are the basis for character formation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze critical thinking and creative thinking skills in class XI mechanical engineering students at Leonardo Klaten Vocational School for the 2022/2023 academic year in mathematics learning using the problem based learning model. The subjects in this research were 30 students of class XI Mechanical Engineering B SMK Leonardo Pangudi Luhur Klaten academic year 2022/2023. The research was carried out in February 2023 – March 2023. Data collection techniques used were observation, tests and interviews. The results of observations and tests were analyzed using descriptive statistics assisted by Microsoft Excel to determine average scores and categories. The instruments used in this research include observation sheets, test questions and interview guides. The research results showed that the Problem Based Learning model implemented by the researcher was carried out at each meeting with a percentage of 79.54% in the good category at the first meeting and 81.81% in the very good category at the second meeting. Students' critical thinking skills in PBL-based learning reach the moderately critical category, while creative thinking skills fall into the moderately creative category judging from the average score and the majority of students' categories.

Abstract

The results of the 2023 SMAN 3 Pandeglang education report card show that literacy skills are in the Medium category (44.44% of students have achieved minimum competency) meaning that 40% - 70% of students have achieved minimum competency for reading literacy but efforts need to be made to encourage more students in achieve minimum competency.The use of the PjBL learning model is expected to increase social interaction between students and achieve higher student learning outcomes compared to competitive learning or individualistic learning which usually occurs. Most of the teaching and learning activities at SMAN 3 Pandeglang still use the lecture method or are not PjBL based.Based on the explanation above, it is necessary to carry out an in-depth study of improving students' scientific literacy abilities through the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on Renewable Energy material at SMAN 3 Pandeglang.

Abstract

This development research aims to describe and describe the development, feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of creative smart tube learning activity media to improve storytelling skills in kindergarten. This development research uses qualitative methods with R&D techniques which refer to the research and development design in Borg and Gall in aten stage research development process. In this development research, the researcher only took seven stages including advantages and problems, combining data, creating media, validating media, improving media, testing media, and revising media. Data collection techniques use observation, question and answer, documentation and bibliography techniques. The results of the accumulated data were then validated using development validation techniques which included the assessment stage of the feasibility results of creative smart tube media carried out by material experts and media experts. The data analysis technique uses qualitative data analysis. From the results of the data description and assessment of the results of development research, a summary conclusion can be drawn, namely: (1) validation of the achievement of the appropriateness of the props by media experts shows a value of 4.35 with an achievement percentage of 87.05% (very feasible), (2) validation of the practicality of the media obtained from group and field trials, (3) validation of media effectiveness obtained from product trials, (4) development of creative smart tube learning media realized in the form of digital learning media, web-based creative smart educational games in the form of numbers, letters and words

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of differentiated learning using the discovery learning model in Indonesian language subjects with the theme of local wisdom in the culinary field in each city or region in Banten Province. The research approach and method determined is qualitative description with the aim of describing and explaining the phenomena that are occurring in detail. The research results show that there are positive changes for both teachers and students when implementing differentiated learning. This can be proven by: 1) the emergence of teacher innovation and creativity in preparing learning, 2) being able to map students' abilities based on learning styles, learning readiness and learning environment by carrying out cognitive diagnostics through website-based applications. 3) obtain a thorough understanding of the material mastered by students even though the presentation of the content is different in each group. 4) increased self-confidence, motivation and collaboration have proven that students play an active role in learning so that the development of the Pancasila Learner Profile has emerged. 5) creating good cooperation between teachers and students.
