Abstract

Introduction: Sustainable Development (SDGs) is a big agenda compiled by the United Nations, with 17 goals, one of which is reducing waste. The waste problem is currently serious. The more people who are active, the more waste is generated. The solution to handling the waste problem must be good management. One of them is the waste bank program. The waste bank is a program that utilizes sorted waste. The waste bank system is like the bank system, but what is stored is dry waste that can be recycled. Objectives: This study aims to see the role of Islamic boarding in supporting SDG achievement through waste management programs. In addition, the purpose of this study is the impact of a waste bank on the Islamic boarding school environment. Method: This study uses a qualitative approach. The discussion of this research is based on the results of observations and interviews with waste bank management. Results: The results of this study are positive, indicating that the existence of a waste bank at least helps and supports sustainable development and that this waste bank activity provides an example to students of how to manage waste properly and correctly. However, the obstacle is that not all students are aware of this. So, the impact of waste bank activity has been running until now but is not too significant. Implications: To help and contribute to the enforcement of SDGs, this research is expected to have an impact on the management of waste bank management not only for Islamic boarding schools but also for other educational institutions by utilizing the surrounding environment and the students in it.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see the influence of Radio Broadcasts, Traditional Singing, Local Influencers, and Education on the Level of Islamic Financial Literacy in the People of Central Bangka. This type of research is a quantitative study using the regression analysis model. To measure the dependent variable indicators the ordinal scale is used (0-1), and the independent variables are using the Likert scale (1-4). The results of this study indicate that the results of simultaneous testing show that all variables have a significant effect on Islamic financial literacy. This can be seen from the results of the Chi-Square test. However, in the significance test, one of the variables was not significant, namely education, only 3 variables had a significant effect, namely radio broadcasts, local influencers, and culture (nganggung). Based on these statistical results, it can be understood that through radio broadcasts with sharia economic programs, the public gets important information about this matter. Likewise, influential figures such as traditional leaders, community leaders, and religious leaders who have adequate sharia economic insight will contribute to increasing sharia economic literacy. Through the Nganggung Culture, the community will receive this information more quickly.

Abstract

The surge in online shopping is on the rise, yet engaging in online selling comes with challenges. Vendors utilizing online platforms like Shopee must grasp the factors that sway buying choices. This becomes crucial as they strive to encourage consumers to purchase products they cannot physically interact with. While numerous investigations have been conducted, there exists an untouched area about Shopee consumers in Palu City. Previous research has revealed that both pricing and customer reviews have an impact on purchase decisions. Conversely, some studies negate their influence. Hence, the present study endeavors to elucidate the extent to which pricing and customer reviews shape the purchasing determinations of Shopee consumers, specifically in Palu City. This research sheds light on the subject by employing a questionnaire-based survey method and utilizing the SPSS software for analysis. Findings indicate that both factors, taken together or individually, wield a notable influence on the purchasing judgments made by Shopee consumers in Palu City. Given that purchasing choices stand as a metric for gauging marketing achievements, the insights from this study are anticipated to offer valuable guidance to digital marketplace sellers when devising their marketing strategies.
