The rapid development in aspects of science and technology requires all of us to go towards changes that also run rapidly in various aspects of life. The demands for these changes include the way of mindset, outlook on something new, social, economic and cultural changes that simultaneously occur significantly, related to these dynamics, universities must provide a quick response in responding to all challenges which of course must be done appropriately, and based on Based on Evidence. The Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia under the leadership of Nadiem Makarim issued a new policy, namely the Independent Learning Program – Independent Campus (MBKM), in this policy there are four core policies that will be targeted from this program, namely, granting autonomous authority to universities related to the addition of new study programs, automatic reaccreditation process, facilitating procedures for changing the status of universities from universities The Public Service Agency (PTNBLU) became a Legal Entity State University (PTNBH), and the latter gave freedom to its students to study outside their study program and even outside their campus. The four programs are basically intended to provide universities with ease to be more independent, autonomous, less bureaucratic, and innovative.

Abstract

The source of the State Budget is Taxes. Tax is a mandatory contribution that is coercive because it is regulated by law. One of the tax collection systems is self-assessment, where taxpayers are given the freedom to pay and report their taxes independently, the fiscal officer supervises and checks the tax returns reported by taxpayers every year. This difference in opinion on the results of the examination between taxpayers and tax officers is what raises the problem of tax disputes. The problem of tax disputes has existed from the Dutch colonial era to the present. The Tax Court is the body that decides tax dispute cases, the name and duties of the tax court have changed from time to time and with the decision number 26/PUU-XXI/2023 concerning the Tax Court. The authority of the tax court changed to the full authority of the Supreme Court. This article concludes that the Tax Court developed over time, and along with tax reform the Tax Court also underwent reform with the transfer of organizational, administrative, and financial coaching authority to the Supreme Court (MA). With this transfer of authority, it is hoped that the Tax Court can decide tax dispute cases fairly and have legal certainty for the parties to the dispute.

Abstract

Electricity is one of the most important needs in everyday life due to technological advances. So various efforts are needed to increase electricity production, one way is to build a power plant that can produce productive electricity so that this happens, one way to determine electricity productivity is the value of cycle efficiency. If the value of the cycle efficiency is higher in a generator, then the PLTG performance will be maximized. And if the cycle efficiency value gets smaller, it can be said that the PLTG's performance is not good. Therefore, to maintain PLTG performance, it is necessary to carry out an overhaul to maintain optimal PLTG performance. In this study using cycle efficiency to determine the increase in efficiency before and after overhaul at a load of 100 MW and the causes, after analyzing the efficiency of the brayton cycle increased from 41% to 42%, the cause was a decrease in turbine efficiency from 74 to 91% and compressor efficiency from 73 to 82% after overhaul the increase affected fuel consumption so that the requirement of kcal/kwh decreased to 3196.4 kcal/ Kwh

Abstract

China's significant economic development and military modernization in the last few decades has resulted in a change in the global geopolitical situation in the Indo Pacific Region. China is increasingly aggressive in spreading its influence and one of the steps taken by China is the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) project. In carrying out BRI through maritime routes, China has made the South China Sea the main route. On the basis of the Nine-Dashed Line, China is aggressively asserting its control claims in the South China Sea. This made the situation in the South China Sea heat up due to protests from several countries. As one of the countries in the Indo Pacific Region, Australia, by using a competitive intelligence mechanism, views what China has done as a threat to its national security, as written in the National Defense: Defense Strategic Review 2023 report. Therefore, Australia must create a defense strategy to mitigate this threat. The author conducted this research using qualitative methods by collecting data from observation, document study, and literature study. This study aims to determine the role of competitive intelligence in the framework of forming a defense strategy carried out by Australia as a mitigation measure against China's defense advances and China's influence spread in the Indo Pacific Region.

Abstract

This research examines the existence and dynamics of the Jewish community in Indonesia, which has deep historical roots dating back to the arrival of early European explorers and settlers. The Jewish community in Indonesia is unique and rarely discussed in the context of the country's religious plurality. Despite their relatively small numbers compared to the majority religion, their existence brings important perspectives on assimilation and identity dynamics. This research fills a knowledge gap by investigating the specific dynamics of the Jewish community in the context of assimilation and identity, expanding the understanding of the history of antisemitism and representation as well as Jewish national loyalties and identity in Indonesia. Through qualitative methods and a case study approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews and document analysis to capture the historical perspectives and adaptations of the community. The results show that the Jewish community, although small, has successfully assimilated while maintaining their religious and cultural identity in a social environment dominated by other religions. This research provides new insights into the study of religious plurality, particularly in the context of Muslim-majority Indonesia. It illustrates how assimilation and identity preservation can occur simultaneously, offering a more complex and dynamic perspective than previously recognized. The findings also emphasize the importance of interfaith education and interreligious dialogue as factors that influence the ability of religious minorities to maintain their identities. The results of this study have significant implications for the understanding of religious diversity in Indonesia and how small communities can contribute to the national discourse. The theoretical benefits of the findings enrich the study of religious minority dynamics in plural societies, highlighting that flexibility and adaptation are important aspects in the survival of religious and cultural identities. Practically, the findings can inform the development of more inclusive policies that protect the rights of religious and faith minorities in Indonesia.

Abstract

Batu Bengkung Beach in Malang Regency has excellent potential as a natural tourist destination. However, the natural condition which is an area prone to tsunami disasters also cannot be ignored. Safety considerations and minimizing casualties are the main reasons this tour aims to make adjustments to aspects of tsunami disaster mitigation. Likewise for the sustainability of tourism in the future. The method carried out is through qualitative and quantitative data research. Direct observation at the location is also needed to determine exactly the existing conditions, as well as interviews with several resource persons as data reinforcement. The result is the application of aspects of tsunami disaster mitigation that are relevant to existing natural conditions. Aspects of tsunami disaster mitigation that can be applied are, first, the determination or determination of evacuation locations and evacuation routes. By utilizing natural conditions surrounded by hills, these conditions can be an ideal evacuation location. The second early warning is in the form of an alarm or siren warning of a tsunami. Aims to notify of the tsunami disaster and is expected to evacuate immediately. The third erected vertical evacuation buildings in the form of tsunami shelters that met FEMA guideline standards.
