Abstract

This research background is based on scenario changes of war concepts from conventional to technology-based, where stealth is one of the technologies which is important in air warfare. This fact creates phenomena that show “There’s no stealth technology had been applied to protect Ground Radar Station as an enemy centre of gravity”, related to that research question which is formulated on how to design an adaptive “Ground Radar Stealth” (GRS) and why it is needed. All relevant theories used in this research are stealth, Radar, and Microwave Absorbers. Research Methode that being used is descriptive qualitative by comparing theories and using QFD as tools. In designing GRS some informants are involved such as military expert, academic, commander of fighter aircraft squadron and Radar. The result of this research is formulating a GRS design that had been adjusted with the theories to apply to GRS and is also useful. To make this research can be realised support in the form of funds, time, and cooperation from the Indonesian Air Force Itself and Academic sources are needed. Also, to optimize GRS design, it is suggested to create layers of defence like an Iron dome, but adjusted to the Indonesian Geographical environment

Abstract

The Indonesian Air Force (IAF) intelligence interconnect communication system (IICS) is a communication device which can deliver information/instructions/ commands in a voice that the IAF chairman addressed to the ground units to conduct an IAF operation mission. The development of the future war has applied the network concept or often called network warfare. However, the IAF has not fully used its advantages optimally. The objective of the study is to describe and analyze the advantages of IICS that can be used as the first step in the development and application of NCW IAF communication systems. The study uses descriptive qualitative methods that describe the use of IICS in various air operations and the factors that affect IICS which is analysed by using the system integration theory of communication, NCW, Information Superiority, Internet of Things and Interoperability. Data is collected by conducting interviews with the experts of IICS and NCW. Studies have shown that IICS can integrate some communications equipment into a new system and assist deliver information in real-time and forward command information to generate destruction on a predetermined target. Furthermore, IICS also provide strategic information for the main weaponry system by using the information selected by the commander. Moreover, it can be developed in a larger network that enhances awareness (Situational Awareness) in implementing movement or action. If the IICS has been done consistently and thoughtfully, it will increase the effectiveness of accomplishing the operation missions and exercises

Abstract

The involvement of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) in the task of humanitarian operations is very strategic. Among other things, this task was carried out by Squadron 31, namely by providing heavy and long-distance transportation equipment. Preparedness in humanitarian operations by providing 130 Hercules aircraft is an important aspect that supports the success of humanitarian operations. Research purposes. Analyzing the Preparedness of the 31 Squadron at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base in the Provision of C-130 Transport Aircraft for Natural Disaster Management in Indonesia.Research methods using a descriptive qualitative approach with the selection of data sources using purposive sampling. Analysis of data from interviews, observations and documentation studies. Constructive analysis techniques with interactive procedures. Improvements to an effective humanitarian logistics management system to support the availability of spare parts in adequate and timely quantities for Squadron 31. Organizing training and education for aircraft crews for disaster management in accordance with the qualification standards of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) as well as internationally involving the Indonesian Air Force and the Air Force and BNPB.

Abstract

The maintenance Depot 40 or what so-called Depohar 40 is a unit having the responsibility to conduct the middle and heavy-level maintenance for communication, navigation tool, computer, simulator and specified electronic devices. In recent days, the task implementation, and the professionalism of Depohar personnel still could not be fully achieved as it is expected, so it requires research to study it. The research also describes the condition of the personnel capability, infrastructure and supporting equipment and also the integrity of the Depohar Personnel. Professionalism according to Longman (in Hasanah,2019) can also be interpreted as the behaviour, skills or qualities of a professional person. The research applies the qualitative and SWOT analysis, which has been formulated to be the selected called as diversification strategy as the result to implement the professionalism of the Depohar 40 Personnel. The result of the analysis is Strategy Diversification, meaning that the Depohar 40 organization is in a stable condition but faces a number of formidable challenges, so it is predicted that the institution will experience difficulties in carrying out daily activities if it only sticks to the previous strategy. Therefore Depohar 40 is advised to immediately expand its tactical strategy; so that the strategy will focus on using force to overcome the threats it faces. It is hoped that if this strategy is implemented, the professionalism of Depohar 40 soldiers can be realized soon

Abstract

The existence of PT. GMF AeroAsia Tbk and PT. Dirgantara Indonesia is an important pillar in the national defense industry that can support the interests of the Indonesian Air Force, especially in the process of maintaining and modernizing the C-130 Hercules aircraft. On this basis, this study aims to identify and analyze the synergy of PT. GMF AeroAsia Tbk and PT. Dirgantara Indonesia in the maintenance and modernization of the C-130 Hercules aircraft. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The data analysis technique used is an interactive data analysis technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observation, as well as literature studies and documentation studies. The data validity technique used is source triangulation. The results showed the synergy of PT. GMF AeroAsia Tbk and PT. Dirgantara Indonesia in the maintenance and modernization of the C-130 Hercules aircraft is carried out by establishing three main pillars of synergy which include sharing, flexibility/stability (error compensation), and task-dependence. First, the sharing pillar is implemented by sharing tasks based on the company's core business and capabilities. The two pillars of flexibility/stability are implemented by complementing each other's capabilities that neither company has. The three pillars of task dependence are carried out based on a memorandum of understanding that has been agreed upon by both parties

Abstract

The main task of the Adisutjipto Air Base is to organize aerospace education, training and development. Maintenance, readiness and allocation of aircraft flight hours are important tasks. The objectives of this study were 1) to analyse the factual conditions of the maintenance process, readiness and flight hours for the G 120 TP-A Grob aircraft and 2) to analyse the dominant factors affecting the maintenance process. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach supported by quantitative data. Quantitative methods in this study were used to see the most influential factors on maintenance. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show 1) there is an inaccuracy in the medium-level maintenance planning process that it affects the results of the calculation of the percentage of maintenance and maintenance of light and heavy levels that have not been included in the calculation, 2) the dominant factor affecting the results of maintenance is HR on quantity indicators and maintenance support factors, especially indicators of needs partsPEMELIHARAAN DAN KESIAPAN PESAWAT G 120TP-A GROB DI LANUD ADISUTJIPTO
