Abstract

Indonesia become a country with the largest Muslim population in the world in 2022. This is in line with the number of MSMEs in Indonesia. MSMEs have a major role in economic growth and reducing poverty in Indonesia. So MSMEs become the biggest contribution to poverty alleviation and employment in Indonesia. Therefore productive zakat is an appropriate, alternative and profitable instrument for developing MSMEs as well as breaking the cycle of poverty and unemployment in Indonesia.  The purpose of this study is to determine the potential of productive zakat in empowering MSMEs businesses to alleviate poverty and unemployment in Indonesia. This research is a descriptive qualitative research by describing that zakat productive MSME businesses are able to alleviate poverty and absorb labor. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The data collection technique used is library research (library research), namely collecting or compiling data by using written materials regarding productive zakat and MSMEs. The results of this reserch is show that the presence of productive zakat is able to overcome the constraints on the lack of capital faced by MSMEs. This is supported by the large number of Muslim communities in Indonesia. MSMEs empowerment is carried out by providing assistance and coaching to help people with low education in developing their knowledge and skills.  Then, it is hoped that it can help alleviate poverty and absorb labor so that it can increase economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine which sub-districts are the centers of economic growth in Siak Regency, as well as the interaction between the sub-districts of economic growth centers and sub-districts in the surrounding area. This research uses secondary data in 2023 sourced from BPS Riau Province, BPS Siak Regency, as well as journals and literacy related to this research. The data analysis method used in this research is Scalogram Analysis by combining the Centrality Index and weighting techniques and Gravity Analysis. Scalogram Analysis is used to determine the centers of economic growth in each sub- district based on the availability of public service facilities such as government facilities, economic facilities, and social facilities. Gravity Analysis is used to determine how much interaction between the center of economic growth subdistricts and the surrounding sub-districts (Hinterland) using the variables of population and distance between the two regions. Based on the research results from the Scalogram Analysis and Centrality Index that have been carried out, the growth center in Siak Regency based on 34 service facilities is Siak District with the highest total service facilities and Centrality Index. Based on the results of Gravity Analysis using population variables and the distance from the economic growth center sub-district to the surrounding area (Hinterland), it can be seen that the growth center sub-district of Siak District has the strongest interaction relationship with Tualang District as the surrounding area (Hinterland).

Abstract

Women empowerment is a form of empowerment carried out for women in order to achieve a decent life. Empowerment is carried out in the form of women's awareness to develop and is used as efforts in overcoming women's underdevelopment. The empowerment programme in Bentarsari Village (Mawar Batik) aims to improve living standards and alleviate poverty. The study is to analyze how women's empowerment through batik handicrafts is in improving the economy. It also identifies the factors influencing the empowerment programme in Bentarsari Village. The study employed descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained were analysed by using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed the success of women empowerment in Bentarsari Village, Salem District in the batik craft programme. The supporting and inhibiting factors which influence the success are the support of husbands and the willingness to change from the community so that the skills possessed are hereditary and good communication between group members and group leaders.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the impact of product quality, service quality, and restaurant ambiance on consumer purchasing behavior in the restaurant industry. The research population consists of consumers of the restaurant. The sample size consisted of 167 individuals who were selected using accidental sampling, which involved selecting individuals who were willing to respond to the author's questionnaire. Data was gathered during January and February of 2024. The data analysis technique employed was the Structure Equation Model, using the SmartPLS software. The research findings indicate that the three distinct research variables, namely product quality, service quality, and atmosphere, significantly impact customer purchase decisions in restaurants. This demonstrates the restaurant's success in enticing consumers to visit and ensuring their satisfaction once dining.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product quality and brand ambassadors on consumer purchasing choices by testing their satisfaction with the price of Lemonilo noodles. The methodology used was Accidental Sampling, with a sample size of 150 respondents. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire given to respondents were tested using PLS software version 3.0 and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). In the data collection approach, two things are emphasized in the service marketing mix: product quality and brand ambassadors. This study shows that the quality of a product has a large and positive impact on consumer purchasing choices. In addition, it has a positive effect on their satisfaction with the price of the product. Conversely, the presence of a brand ambassador does not have a significant effect on price satisfaction. However, it has a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions. Furthermore, satisfaction with the price of a product has a positive and significant effect on consumer purchasing choices

Abstract

Fraud has often occurred in the corporate environment. Fraud is usually based on personal, group or business interests. The economic crisis has encouraged corporate fraud, especially due to the weak implementation of internal control and corporate governance in the banking industry. In an effort to prevent fraud, companies can consistently empower the role of the company's internal auditors who can trigger the implementation of management risk control, internal control systems, and audit committees which have an important role in various aspects of the organization including fraud prevention. This study aims to examine the influence of the role of internal audit, internal control, and the audit committee on fraud prevention. The population in this study used 7 of the 25 Bank Mandiri Branch Offices in the Tanjung Priok Enggano Area, with a total of 85 respondents. The data collection method used a questionnaire by giving a score value according to the Likert scale measurement system . This type of research used quantitative research with a case study method. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression with the SPSS version 25 application. The results show that internal auditing, internal control, and audit committees have a significant effect on fraud prevention.

Abstract

This article discusses the activities of international integration associations, the necessity of developing trade relations with the countries included in these associations, as well as the importance of enhancing cooperative relationships with international financial organizations. The article highlights the increasing connection of our independent republic with major global financial institutions and international Islamic financial funds. Consequently, this development enables Uzbek entrepreneurs to access the global market, produce goods that meet international standards, and ultimately contributes to the economic and social prosperity of the republic. It also explains how small and medium-sized enterprises in Uzbekistan can achieve significant success.
