Abstract

The manufacturing industry sector is one of the sectors that has become a priority and has become a reference for other sectors in the Province of South Sumatra. The manufacturing industry sector consists of 16 sub-sectors. This study aims to analyze the competitive advantage of the manufacturing sub-sector in South Sumatra Province in 2017-2021. The method used in this study uses dynamic shift share analysis. The results of this study obtained ten processing industry sub-sectors that have competitive advantages, namely coal and oil refining; food and Drink; textiles and apparel; leather goods from leather and footwear; paper and articles of paper for printing and reproduction of recorded media; chemical, pharmaceutical and traditional medicine; rubber, goods made of rubber and plastics; non-metal mineral goods; base metal; as well as furniture, and the remaining six sub-sectors do not have a competitive advantage. This competitive advantage assessment can be seen from the results of dynamic shift share analysis calculations which have positive and negative values. This means that if the value of competitive advantage is positive, it can be said that the sub-sector has a competitive advantage, while those that have a negative value then the sub-sector does not have a competitive advantage so that a development strategy is needed.

Abstract

Abstract

After the reform era, Indonesia was once known as a tolerant country that was able to combine religion and democracy. However, in the last five years, this image has begun to be doubted in line with the increasing complexity of diversity and the conflicts that have arisen. Indonesia adopts a mono-religious approach in the setting of religious education, but some institutions adopt an inter-religious model. This article compares views on freedom of religion or belief (KBB) with the management of the Religious Education course at the Defense University, which applies an inter-religious model in the Buddhist Religious Education sub-course. The Review on Freedom of Religion or Belief (KBB) in this study sees that this innovation provides new insights and solutions to overcome the challenges faced in the implementation and sustainability of inter-religious education programs. The Defense University can ensure that the inter-religious education programs they run remain effective and sustainable in creating an environment that is inclusive and respects freedom of religion or belief. It is hoped that through this effort, a new generation of leaders who respect diversity and are able to uphold the values of tolerance, harmony and freedom of religion or belief will continue to be born and develop, for the progress and prosperity of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

This article seeks to examine how the implementation of moral education is presented in elementary schools (SD, SMP, and SMA) in the midst of a society that has changed from an agricultural society to an industrial society. This study aims to understand how the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of students in the implementation of religious moral values are presented in schools. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique taken was observation, interviews with students from primary schools (elementary, junior high and senior high schools) in the Sumberjaya District, Majalengka Regency. This study found that the religious moral values presented in schools were still transfer of knowledge and religion in the aspect of cognition, only a small portion were in the affective and psychomotor aspects. Second, the socio-economic conditions of the family are part of the background for moral value education which is not optimally absorbed into the affective and psychomotor aspects. Third, the condition of the social environment has a big contribution in shaping student orientation, where religious moral values do not become a control rope for students in carrying out social interactions in society. This study concludes that the implementation of religious moral values in education in schools has a clash with family awareness in supporting education, learning models that are still limited to the transfer of knowledge, and the social environment of society.
