Abstract

The principal is a leader who has an important role in improving the quality and competitiveness of schools. Principals must have a serious attitude and high work ethic so that they can produce mature strategies. The strategy aims to make change truly materialized by the birth of new innovations that have an impact on improving the quality and competitiveness of education in schools. Democratic leadership style is a leadership style in which the leader involves all subordinates in making policies and actions. The purpose of this study was to determine and describe 1) the planning of the implementation of democratic leadership by the principal in building a culture of quality and school competitiveness at SMA Brawijaya Smart School Malang, 2) the implementation of the democratic leadership of the principal in building a culture of quality and school competitiveness at SMA Brawijaya Smart. School Malang, 3) the results of the planning of the implementation of the Principal's Democratic Leadership in Building a Culture of Quality and School Competitiveness at SMA Brawijaya Smart School Malang. The results showed that the implementation of the Principal's Democratic Leadership in Building a Culture of Quality and School Competitiveness at Sma Brawijaya Smart School Malang, namely 1) planning by making superior programs that are guided by the vision, mission and goals of the school in order to create a culture of quality and school competitiveness. which is SMART (Spiritual, Motivated, Active, Respectfull, Technological), 2) its implementation is in the form of student activities in the field of student affairs and academics that are accommodated by the school, 3) the result is the realization of a quality culture and school competitiveness as evidenced by behavior and achievements obtained by students.

Abstract

The current era of globalization will of course require a renewal and an increase in the quality of the community so that it can be ascertained that there will be various kinds of changes that occur in society, both in social and cultural aspects or in education, which of course will always experience development. With this change, of course, it will also have an impact on the development of science and technology which will also develop rapidly. This transformation and innovation will certainly be needed to bring up new ideas or a change and renewal, especially in Islamic education management. Islamic education management is the result of guidance in terms of management, education and Islam, namely the process of social interaction which is carried out by people to be able to achieve goals that are in organizations that have been oriented in accordance with Islamic teachings. This orientation in the process of education management will of course be used as a step in the transformation process which includes planning, organizing, moving processes and supervision that will be passed through effective cooperation. This innovation tends to discuss ideas or methods which are considered as something new which will be shown to a group of people or society.

Abstract

This article discusses the management of teacher resources for the development of the quality of Tahfidzul Qur'an learning at Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) Malang City. the urgency of teacher resource management is for the effectiveness of the process of teachers entering educational institutions, recruitment, selection, development and training to how to assess the performance of the teacher so that it has an impact on the effectiveness of learning. The purpose of this study is to determine and describe 1) teacher resource planning for the development of the quality of Tahfidzul Qur'an learning at SDIT Ahmad Yani Malang, 2) the implementation of teacher resource management for the development of the quality of Tahfidzul Qur'an learning at SDIT Ahmad Yani City. Malang, 3) the results of the application of teacher resource management for the development of the quality of learning Tahfidzul Qur'an at SDIT Ahmad Yani Malang City. This type of research is qualitative using a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques carried out include observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are showing that teacher resource management for the development of the quality of tahfidzul qur'an learning at SDIT Ahmad Yani is going well, namely related to teacher resource planning, implementation until the results of its application in quality development, especially in the tahfidzul qur'an program.

Abstract

Teacher development is an important component in educational institutions. This is because the teacher is one of the potential resources that affect the quality of students and the achievement of educational goals. In an increasingly rapid pace of development, madrasa heads as managers of educational institutions are required to be able to manage existing human resources (HR). As an effort to improve teacher competence, especially in the pedagogic and professional dimensions, the teacher continuous professional development (CPD) program is a means for teachers to develop their competence and knowledge. Thus, it is necessary to have the role of the madrasa head in involving teachers in the PKB program. The research focuses raised in this study are: 1) How is the head of madrasah in planning the sustainable professional development program for digital era teachers at MAN 2 Malang City; 2) How is the madrasa principal in implementing the digital era teacher continuous professional development program at MAN 2 Malang City; 3) How is the implementation of the digital era teacher sustainable professional development program at MAN 2 Malang City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, where the researcher describes the research findings which are unique in the field. To obtain data related to the managerial competence of the madrasah principal in implementing the CPD program, data collection techniques were carried out in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The data that has been collected will be analyzed using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: 1) CPD program planning is carried out on: a) the madrasah annual work meeting agenda; and b) in the MGMP professional organization. The planning carried out is based on three aspects, including: a) the times; b) madrasa vision and mission; and c) reports on the results of supervision. 2) The implementation of the PKB program consists of three components, including: a) self-development; b) scientific publications; c) innovative work. In implementing the CPD program, the role of the madrasa head as manager is as follows: a) placing teachers according to academic qualifications; b) directing teachers in development programs; c) formulating and setting educator standards; d) socialize and motivate teachers to participate in the CPD program; 3) The results of the implementation of the CPD program, including: a) Increasing the pedagogic and professional competence of teachers; b) Increasing student academic achievement.

Abstract

Boarding school management is a school management system that has a dormitory, where students live and study together every day in the scope of the school/madrasah. efficient. In increasing achievement and religious character, students must use careful planning so that the implementation can run according to the goals that have been set. Because the existence of high achieving schools is often identified with good management, complete facilities and infrastructure, structured curriculum, and qualified educators and education personnel according to their fields of expertise. The focus of this research is: 1) how to plan a boarding school program in improving the achievement and religious character of Ma'had Al-Qolam MAN 2 Malang City students, 2) how to implement a boarding school program in improving the achievement and religious character of Ma'had Al-Ma'had students. Qolam MAN 2 Malang City,, 3) how is the evaluation of the boarding school program in improving the achievement and religious character of Ma'had Al-Qolam MAN 2 Malang City students, 4) how are the results of the boarding school program in improving the achievement and religious character of Ma'had Al students -Qolam MAN 2 Malang City, This study uses a qualitative approach, where in this case the researcher understands the phenomena that occur and in maintaining the authenticity of the data, the researchers are actively involved and go to the field directly. Data collection techniques used direct observation, in-depth interviews with several informants and documentation. The data that has been obtained will be processed using a data reduction process, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The credibility of the data is done through checking the triangulation procedure of data sources and techniques. The results showed that: 1) program planning in improving the achievement and religious character of the students of Ma'had Al-Qolam MAN 2 Malang City used four references, namely: a. The basic value of Ma'had, b. madrasa vision and mission, b. strategic plan, c management guidelines; 2) the implementation of the achievement improvement program begins with a. selection of new student admissions, b. Mapping student classes, c. Implementation program, d. coaching pattern; 3) Evaluation includes a. directly and b. indirect. 4) The results of the program are a. achievement of targets and b. Award. Abstrak Manajemen boarding school merupakan sebuah sistem pengelolaan sekolah yang memiliki asrama, di sanalah para siswa tinggal dan belajar bersama setiap harinya di ruang lingkup sekolah/madrasah. Dalam peningkatan prestasi dan karakter religious siswa harus menggunakan perencanaan yang matang sehingga pelaksanaannya dapat berjalan sesuai dengan tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah: 1) bagaimana perencanaan program boarding school dalam peningkatan prestasi dan karakter religious siswa Ma’hadAl-Qolam MAN 2 Kota Malang,2) bagaimana pelaksanaan program boarding school dalam peningkatan prestasi dan karakter religious siswa Ma’had Al-Qolam MAN 2 Kota Malang,, 3) bagaimana evaluasi program boarding school dalam peningkatan prestasi dan karakter religius siswa Ma’had Al-Qolam MAN 2 Kota Malang, 4) bagaimana hasil program boarding school dalam peningkatan prestasi dan karakter religius siswa Ma’had Al-Qolam MAN 2 Kota Malang, Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dimana dalam hal ini peneliti memahami betul fenomena yang terjadi dan dalam menjaga keaslian data maka peneliti ikut terlibat aktif dan turun kelapangan secara langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) perencanaan program dalam peningkatan prestasi dan karakter religious siswa Ma’had Al-Qolam MAN2 Kota Malang menggunakan empat acuan, yaitu: a. Nilai dasar Ma’had, b. visi misi madrasah, b.rencana strategi, c pedoman manajemen; 2) pelaksanaan program peningkatan prestasi diawali dengan a. seleksi penerimaan santri baru, b. Pemetaan kelas santri, c. Program pelaksanaan, d. pola Pembinaan; 3) Evaluasi meliputi a. secara langsung dan b. tidaklangsung. 4) Hasil program yakni a. capaian target dan b.raihan penghargaan.

Abstract

In improving professional competence, it is strongly influenced by the role of the principal as a supervisor through academic supervision. This study aims to determine the planning of the madrasah principal's academic supervision program, the implementation of the madrasah's academic supervision, and the follow-up to the results of the madrasah's academic supervision in improving the professional competence of teachers. With academic supervision, it is expected to provide technical assistance, guidance, coaching and performance improvement as an effort to improve the professional competence of teachers so that they can achieve educational goals. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were the principal and teachers. The results of the study show that: (1) the preparation of the academic supervision program is prepared at the beginning of the new school year by involving teachers. The academic supervision program is structured based on problems faced by teachers regarding learning and adapts to the needs of teachers; (2) the implementation of academic supervision in accordance with the program that has been prepared using several supervision techniques including individual and group techniques; and (3) Follow-up actions taken by the head of the madrasa by providing guidance to teachers.

Abstract

Community involvement in education is embodied in the Madrasah Committee organization formed by each education unit. This organization aims to channel community aspirations and initiatives, responsibilities, community roles and a transparent, accountable and democratic atmosphere in the implementation of education can actually be realized. So that this goal is not just a slogan, a strategy is needed so that the role of the Madrasah Committee can be optimal and can contribute to education so that the quality of education is increasing. Based on the description above, it can be formulated a problem formulation, first, how the tasks carried out by the Madrasah Committee in improving the quality of education in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 4 Kediri Regency. Second, how is the function carried out by the Madrasah Committee in improving the quality of education in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 4 Kediri Regency. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. There are 3 kinds of data collection methods used by researchers, namely the observation method, the interview method, and the documentation method. Analysis of the data in this study by recording data from interviews, observations and documentation, organizing the data, sorting it out to answer the formulation of the problem then looking for and finding meanings related to the formulation of the problem. The results of the study, first, the Madrasah Committee's duties are as an advisory agency in all activities carried out, a supporter (supporting agency), controller (controlling agency) and a mediator or liaison between parents and schools to make a superior school or madrasah. The Madrasah Committee is running well. Second, the function of the Madrasah Committee is to encourage public attention and commitment to the implementation of quality education, to collaborate with the community (individuals/organizations/business/industrial world) and the government regarding the provision of quality education, to accommodate and analyze aspirations, ideas, demands. and various educational needs proposed by the community, providing input, considerations, and recommendations to the education unit regarding: education policies and programs, RAPBS, educational unit performance criteria, education personnel, educational facilities, and so on, encouraging parents and the community to participate in education in order to support the improvement of the quality and equity of education, to raise public funds in financing the implementation of education in the education unit, to evaluate and supervise the policies, programs, implementation, and outputs of education in the education unit. From these results, the researcher suggests that these tasks and functions be maintained and further developed so that the role of the Madrasah Committee is more optimal so that the quality of education in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 4 Kediri Regency is increasing.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the planning of educator resource management in Madrasah Aliyah Terpadu Al-Anwar Durenan Trenggalek. (2) Describe the implementation of educator resource management at the Integrated Madrasah Aliyah Al-Anwar Durenan Trenggalek. (3) Describe the efforts of the head of the madrasa in improving the quality of educators at the Al-Anwar Integrated Madrasah Al-Anwar Durenan Trenggalek. The type of research used in this research is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data processed were the results of interviews with informants, namely the Principal and Teachers at the Al-Anwar Integrated Madrasah Al-Anwar Durenan Trenggalek. Data collection techniques used are by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the human resources at Madrasah Aliyah Terpadu Al-Anwar Durenan Trenggalek could be categorized as good or adequate both in quantity and quality. The implementation of human resource management in improving the quality of educators at Madrasah Aliyah Terpadu Al-Anwar Durenan Trenggalek has been carried out well, especially in terms of: HR placement, HR training and development, performance appraisal using qualitative and quantitative assessments, as well as compensation/payment of incentives. Efforts to improve the quality of educators at Madrasah Aliyah Terpadu Al-Anwar Durenan Trenggalek have been carried out well in terms of understanding the demands of the profession, achieving qualifications and competencies, building good and broad peer relations through professional organizations, developing work ethic, and adopting innovations in the use of communication and information technology. Keywords: Human Resource Management and Quality of Educators. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mendeskripsikan perencanaan manajemen sumber daya pendidik di Madrasah Aliyah Terpadu Al-Anwar Durenan Trenggalek. (2) Menggambarkan implementasi manajemen sumber daya pendidik di Madrasah Aliyah Terpadu Al-Anwar Durenan Trenggalek. (3) Mendeskripsikan upaya kepala madrasah dalam peningkatan kualitas tenaga pendidik di Madrasah Aliyah Terpadu Al-Anwar Durenan Trenggalek. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah field research dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang diolah adalah hasil wawancara dari informan yaitu Kepala Madrasah dan Tenaga Pendidik pada Madrasah Aliyah Terpadu Al-Anwar Durenan Trenggalek. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumber daya manusia di Madrasah Aliyah Terpadu Al-Anwar Durenan Trenggalek dapat di kategorikan baik atau memadai baik kuantitas maupun kualitas. Implementasi manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam meningkatkan kualitas tenaga pendidik di Madrasah Aliyah Terpadu Al-Anwar Durenan Trenggalek sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik terutama dalam hal: penempatan SDM, pelatihan dan pengembangan SDM, penilaian kinerja menggunakan penilaian kualitatif dan kuantitatif, serta kompensasi/pemberian honor insentif. Upaya dalam meningkatkan kualitas tenaga pendidi di Madrasah Aliyah Terpadu Al-Anwar Durenan Trenggalek sudah dilakukan dengan baik dalam hal memahami tuntutan profesi, mencapai kualifikasi dan kompetensi, membangun hubungan kesejawatan yang baik dan luas melalui organisasi profesi, mengembangkan etos kerja, dan mengadopsi inovasi dalam pemanfaatan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi. Abstract

Keberhasilan merupakan tujuan utama dalam pendidikan. Hal yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan salah satunya adalah manajemen sarana dan prasarana yang bertujuan mempersiapkan peralatan dan perlengkapan kebutuhan bagi terselenggaranya proses pendidikan. Dalam artikel ini, penulis membahas mengenai manajemen sarana dan prasarana untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran dan prestasi akademik siswa yang terdiri dari proses perencanaan, pengadaan, penyimpanan, pemeliharaan, dan penghapusan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dekriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sumber data pada penelitian ini yakni sumber data primer diantaranya kepala madrasah, waka sarpras, waka kesiswaan. Sedangkan sumber data sekunder didapatkan dari artikel, jurnal serta situs internet yang berkenaan dengan penelitian yang dilakukan. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah perencanaan, pengadaan, pengaturan, dan penggunaan manajemen sarana dan prasrana dalam menigkatkan mutu pembelajaran dan prestasi akademik siswa di MA Bilingual Kota Batu.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan wadah untuk peserta didik mampu mewujudkan pembelajaran secaraaktif dan mengembangkan potensi dengan menjadi yang lebih baik bagi pengetahuan,kecerdasan dan kepribadian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasimanajemen boarding school untuk peningkatan mutu pembelajaran bidang studi agama Islam.Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan ialah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan jenispenelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, dokumentasi, danwawancara mendalam, sedangkan pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan teknik trianggulasisumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Perencanaan Manajemen boarding schooluntuk peningkatan mutu pembelajaran bidang studi agama Islam di MAN 1 Mojokerto.Perencanaan boarding school untuk peningkatan mutu pembelajaran bidang studi agama Islammelalui empat tahapan, yaitu : a) Pembentukan tujuan mahad, b) Perencaan program, c)Perencanaan tata tertib dan pembiasaan, d) Perencanaan hukuman dan bimbingan. 2)Pelaksanaan manajemen boarding school untuk peningkatan mutu pembelajaran bidang studiagama Islam di MAN 1 Mojokerto. Tahap pelaksanaan manajemen boarding school untukpeningkatan mutu pembelajaran yaitu : a) Integrasi pelaksanaan kegiatan boarding schooldengan Madrasah, b) Program kurikuler dan ekstra kurikuler, c) Pelaksanaan pembiasaan tatatertib, d) Pelaksanaan hukuman dan bimibingan. 3) Evaluasi manajemen boarding schooluntuk peningkatan mutu pembelajaran bidang studi agama Islam di MAN 1 Mojokerto.Evaluasi yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran bidang studi agama Islamyaitu adanya evaluasi siswa dan pembelajaran secara langsung dan tidak langsung, a) Evaluasilangsung yaitu adanya monitoring, teguran serta hukuman, b) Evaluasi tidak langsung yaitumeliputi UTS dan UAS.
