Abstract

The aspect of service quality is an important thing to consider to maintain business continuity. Based on the importance of services provided to customers, Gramedia must really pay attention to its services. Based on the assessment results through the Google Review Application, several aspects are still complained about by customers, indicated by a low rate. Low ratings can potentially influence other customers. This research was conducted to measure the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) of Gramedia customers, followed by identifying Service Quality attributes that are important to improve using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) methods. The results of the analysis obtained a CSI value of 72.96% in the range of 100%. This indicates the need to improve service quality with 5 attributes that must be prioritised for improvement. Based on the analysis of the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method, namely the development of other supporting facilities such as playgrounds and reading rooms containing chairs and tables, adjusting and making parking system standards in collaboration with vendors, completing books and stationery equipment according to customer needs, using the latest e-catalog technology in service services, providing training for employees, and installing room layout information.

Abstract

PT Tristanista Global Indonesia is a company engaged in the distribution and marketing of medical and laboratory equipment. Currently, it is known that PT Tristanista Global Indonesia has been using only financial metrics to measure its performance. This focus on financial aspects alone has become a significant issue, as it is insufficient to guide the company through today's and future competitive business landscapes. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate the company’s performance using the Balanced Scorecard and subsequently formulate strategies using SWOT Analysis to enhance the company's performance by leveraging its opportunities. The research results indicate that the overall performance measurement of PT Tristanista Global Indonesia, using the Balanced Scorecard method for the years 2021-2023, yielded a total score of -0.33. This score categorizes the company's performance as poor based on the rating scale. Following this, a strategic formulation was conducted using the SWOT Analysis on the SWOT diagram. It was determined that PT Tristanista Global Indonesia is positioned in Quadrant III, which supports the W-O (Weaknesses-Opportunities) strategy, commonly known as a turnaround strategy. In this context, as indicated by the SWOT Quadrant results, PT Tristanista Global Indonesia is advised to exploit available opportunities to address its internal weaknesses.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low creative thinking skills of students. This problem is due to the lack of student understanding of the material, learning has not given students creativity, learning takes place in one direction, and learning models that have not varied. The effort to overcome this problem is to use the PENA model. The purpose of this study was to analyze students’ creative thinking skills. This study used a qualitative approach with the type of Classroom Action Research conducted for meetings in class V SDN Sungai Bilu 1 Banjarmasin, totalling 30 students, in semester II of the 2023/2024 school year. The type of data used is qualitative data consisting of observation results of students’ creative thinking skills. The result showed that there was an increase in creative thinking skills at each meeting. The ability to think creatively at meeting 1 to meeting 4 increased from 43% to reach 93% with “Very Good” criteria. Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that in Mathematics content using the PENA model can improve students’ creative thinking skills.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low scientific thinking ability of students in class V science content at SDN Kebun Bunga 6 Banjarmasin. This is because learning is too teacher-centered, students are rarely involved in practical activities or experiments directly, resulting in most students tending to be less active, uncritical, uncreative and have low reasoning power. Lack of interest or interest as well as students' abilities in learning science certainly has an impact on student learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to analyze students' scientific thinking abilities using the BERBERANI Model. This research used a type of classroom action research which was carried out in 4 meetings with 19 students in class V of SDN Kebun Bunga 6 Banjarmasin. The results of the research prove that there is an increase in students' scientific thinking abilities at each meeting, namely at meeting 1 the criteria were "fairly good" with a percentage of 52%, then this increased to 100% classically at meeting 4 with the criteria "Very Good". This shows that the BRAVE model can improve students' scientific thinking abilities.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low learning outcomes of students in mathematics subjects with decimal material, especially in the material of changing ordinary fractions become decimal. This problem is caused by students lack of understanding of decimal material, resulting in low student activity and learning outcomes, as well as because students are still less actively involved in learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles. The subjects of this research consisted of 20 class IV students at SDN Gambut 10 in the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of the research show that teacher activity in cycle I and cycle II has increased and reached the "Very Good" criteria, student activity in cycle I reached the "Active" criterion and in cycle II it increased and was at the "Very Active" criterion, and student learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains reach 100% completion. Based on the findings in this research, it can be concluded that learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has been proven to increase teacher activity, student activity and student learning outcomes in mathematics learning decimal material

Abstract

Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is a method to identify and evaluate work steps and potential hazards to determine appropriate control measures. The ultimate goal of this research is to identify the potential for work accidents, assess the potential for work accidents, and provide risk control for existing work accidents. The results of this study found a variety of common hazards such as physical injury (puncture, scratch, pinch, fall), chemical hazards (dust inhalation, skin irritation), and mechanical hazards (slipping, falling material). In the concrete field, accident risks include being buried in soil, tripping over stones, slipping, inhaling dust, and being injured by work tools. While in the electrical field, the risks include being scratched by tools, falling from a height, being punctured by nails, and respiratory problems. The assessment of work accidents at PT Tunas Jaya in 2022 mostly shows a high risk of work accidents and repeatedly occurs. In addition, the factors affecting work accidents were analysed using the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method. recommendations can be given to control the risk of work accidents in the next construction project at PT Tunas Jaya by updating the existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), adjusted to current field conditions.

Abstract

Thesis with the title "The Influence of the Based Learning Project Learning Model on Strengthening the Profile of Class IV Pancasila Students at SDN No. 104254 Sidodadi Ramunia Academic Year 2023/2024" by: Eli Pujiwat ID: 120107087. The background of this research is that as many as 50% of students have not been able to collaborate with friends and teachers. In implementing learning, students have not been able to discuss well, tend to be more passive when carrying out discussions. This shows the lack of dimensions of the Pancasila student profile, namely mutual cooperation, global diversity. As many as 25% of students pray before starting learning, there are still many students who don't mean it and students can't respect friends of different religions. Students also cannot respect their friends when giving an opinion, and students tend to prefer to make fun of their friends. This shows the lack of dimensions in the profile of Pancasila students who are faithful and devoted to God Almighty. More than 50% of students cannot do their own work, which makes students copy their friends' work. The type of research used is qualitative research with an experimental approach. Experimental research, data collection techniques are documentation and tests. The results of this research can be concluded that, (1) After conducting research on learning outcomes in the social studies subject material with the subtheme Gratitude for Diversity in the experimental class with the Project Based Learning model using the t test, an average score of 82.4 was obtained. (2) After conducting research on learning outcomes in the social studies subject material with the subtheme Gratitude for Diversity in the control class using conventional methods using the t test, an average score of 68.4 was obtained. (3) Judging from the results obtained by students when studying using project based and conventional learning methods, they are very different. There is a difference between the experimental class and the control class, namely, in the experimental class the average value was 82.4 and in the control class the average value was 68.4. In the experimental class and the control class, the difference in the average score was 14.0, which if calculated in percentage form shows that the difference in the average score in the experimental class and the control class was 16.9%, which means that the score in the experimental class was 16 higher. 9% of the control class. So there is an influence on the results in the Social Sciences Subject material, Subtheme Gratitude for the Diversity of students with the project based learning model in class IV SDN No. 104254 Sidodadi Ramunia. This is proven by testing the hypothesis with the t test in the experimental class (Project based learning), the result obtained is 0.000, this value is smaller than Sig.(2-failed) α = 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). So Ha can be accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the project based learning model on the results in the social studies subject material with the subtheme Gratitude for Diversity of class IV students at SDN No 104254 Sidodadi Ramunia.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low interest in learning of Class IV students at SD Negeri 101961 Timbang Deli and the lack of use of learning media. For this reason, teacher innovation is needed in designing learning. The use of learning media can create effective communication between teachers and students. The objectives of this research and development are 1) To determine the feasibility of the Magic Learning Box (Kobela) learning media in increasing the learning interest of Class IV Students at SD Negeri 101961 Timbang Deli. 2) To determine the effectiveness of the Magic Learning Box (Kobela) learning media in increasing the interest in learning of Class IV Students at SD Negeri 101961 Timbang Deli. The type of research used is research and development (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate). Data collection techniques use questionnaires, observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research and development can be concluded that 1) The results of material expert validation obtained a score of 91.57% in the very valid category. The media expert validation results obtained a score of 82.22% in the valid category. The linguist validation results obtained a score of 92.5% with a very valid category. The teacher response test results obtained a score of 92.5% with a very valid category. The results of the student response test obtained a score of 90.95% with a very valid category. Based on these results, the Magic Learning Box (Kobela) learning media was declared suitable for use in the learning process. 2) The effectiveness of the Magic Learning Box (Kobela) learning media in increasing the learning interest of Class IV students at SD Negeri 101961 Timbang Deli was stated to be effective in the learning process and can improve students' reading skills.

Abstract

The Influence of Engcita Media (Engklek Cinta Tanah Air) on Character Education of Class IV at SD Negeri 101910 Sidodadi, Pasar Miring Village, Academic Year 2024. Thesis: Medan, Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Education, Nahdlatul Ulama University of North Sumatra (Supervisors: Wahyu Hidayat, S.Pd., M.Pd and Syarifah Ainun Harahap, S.Pd, M.Pd), This study aims to determine the effect of engcita media (engklek cinta tanah air) on character education of grade IV at SD Negeri 101910 Sidodadi. The number of students studied in the experimental class was 26 people and in the control class was 27 people. In this study, the method used was the experimental method. The population taken in this study were all grade IV students at SD Negeri 101910 Sidodadi. The variables of this study consisted of independent variables, namely the use of engcita media and dependent variables, namely character education of grade IV students at SD Negeri 101910 Sidodadi. Data collection techniques used test, observation, and documentation methods. In the experimental group, the average pre-test score was 63.27 and the post-test score was 74.81. In the control group, the average pre-test score was 62.22 and the post-test score was 70.93. The results of the hypothesis test showed that the significance value was 0.01 <0.05. From these results, it can be concluded that the use of Engcita media has a positive influence on the character education of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 101910 Sidodadi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of kangaroo pouch media usage on mathematics learning outcomes in second-grade students of SDN 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia in the academic year 2023/2024. The subject matter is place value. This research is motivated by the mathematics learning outcomes of students that are still below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM).This study is a True Experimental Type Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. It involves two groups: the experimental group, which receives treatment using kangaroo pouch media, and the control group, which undergoes lecture-based learning. The variables in this research consist of the independent variable, which is the kangaroo pouch media, and the dependent variable, which is the mathematics learning outcomes regarding the subject matter of place value. This is a population study with a population size of 36 students. The sample consists of 18 students, which form the experimental group. The instrument used in this study is a test questionnaire. Data analysis technique employed in this research is the t-test.The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of kangaroo pouch media usage on mathematics learning outcomes regarding the subject matter of place value in second-grade students of SDN 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia. This is evidenced by the t-test calculation results, which show a difference between the post-test scores of the experimental group and the control group. Based on the paired sample t-test calculation results, the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.001. In line with the hypothesis decision-making criterion that the significance value (2-tailed) < 0.05 or 0.001 < 0.05, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because there is a significant difference between pretest and post-test results. Thus, the usage of kangaroo pouch media significantly influences the mathematics learning outcomes regarding the subject matter of place value for second-grade students of SDN 105345 Sidodadi Ramunia.
