Abstract

Electricity is a vital aspect of modern infrastructure that supports various human activities. Therefore, the increasing need for electrical energy requires good planning to ensure the availability of electrical energy in the future. The transmission system, especially the Medium Voltage Cable Line (MVCL), plays an important role in distributing electrical energy from generators to consumers. However, MVCL construction involves high-risk work, so it requires special attention to occupational health and safety (OHS). This research uses the HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control) method to identify and control risks in MVCL construction projects. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide recommendations for improving occupational safety and health as well as efficiency in future MVCL construction projects.

Abstract

Sumba Kitchen offers a variety of food menus. Not just local specialty food. There is also a menu of Indonesian food such as meatballs, rawon, fried noodles and processed sea fish. There are also western dishes such as pizza, burgers and spaghetti. So for those of you who find it difficult or afraid to enjoy new dishes, you can choose Indonesian and Western menus which are already familiar to your tongue, this could be a solution. Another interesting thing apart from opening a restaurant and cafe, the owner of Dapur Sumba also opened a bakery called Galaxy Bakeries. So for tourists who want to buy snacks to snack on while traveling or who intend to buy souvenirs for people at home, you can buy them here. Dapur Sumba also provides HR (Human Resources) who are qualified to provide services in restaurants, cafes and bakeries. . The human resources prepared by the owner of Dapur Sumba are in the form of (reliability, responsiveness and empathy). This research aims to analyze the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction. There are three hypotheses developed in this research, namely: 1) Customer quality has a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Data collection method is through distributing questionnaires to respondents directly. The respondents in this research were Sumba Kitchen customers. The number of questionnaires distributed was 98. The test technique used uses a validity test and a reliability test. Testing the first and second hypotheses uses a simple linear regression test. The research results show that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Indonesia's natural and cultural riches have attracted the attention of foreign researchers to conduct research in Indonesia. Indonesia is considered to be one of the largest biological laboratories in the world, so there are many objects that can be used for research by foreign researchers. To provide research licensing services for foreign researchers who wish to conduct research in Indonesia, a legal basis was issued, namely Law No. 11 of 2019 concerning the National System of Science and Technology which regulates research licensing for foreign researchers in Indonesia. As a supporter of Law no. 11 of 2019, BRIN Regulation no. 22 of 2022 concerning Ethical Clearance has been issued. To provide foreign research licensing services according to Law No. 11 of 2019, it is carried out by the Directorate of Research and Innovation Licensing and Scientific Governance of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). To make it easier to apply for research permits for foreign researchers, several service improvements were made, namely the first was the formation of an ethics commission team to replace the TKPIPA team to evaluate incoming proposals. Second, the number of files that foreign researchers need to prepare is less than before, namely from 14 documents to 7 documents. Third, creating an ethical clearance website to upload the required files in digital form which was previously done offline and submitting hard copy files. Fourth, the addition of financial reporting features to make it easier to check payments and send research progress reports by foreign researchers.

Abstract

Fresh water is a basic need of the ship's crew in supporting the creation of smooth ship operating activities, therefore it is also necessary to have an auxiliary aircraft that can produce its own fresh water on board to reduce ship operating costs, which is called the Fresh Water Generator (FWG). FWG is an auxiliary aircraft that can convert seawater into fresh water by evaporation and condensation processes. Therefore, it is necessary to have a tool to monitor the performance of the fresh water generator. The purpose of this research is none other than to monitor temperature conditions, water TDS, and conditions on the input and output streams of the fresh water generator evaporator filter to be more optimal and efficient and to determine the reliability of the fresh water generator performance equipment system using a long distance in order to create better and higher quality fresh water production on board. This research uses a prototyping method system. After designing and testing the tool monitoring system for the performance of fresh water generators using Arduino mega 2560 based on LoRa Ra-02, this system is one of the new technologies that can monitor the performance of fresh water generators to be more efficient and reliable. Then the readings of all sensors can work properly with an average percentage error on the Max 6675 temperature sensor of 0.58%, pressure transmiter sensor 1 of 2.04%, pressure transmiter sensor 2 of 2.04%, and TDS sensor of 1,70% and the distance to communication between the receiver and transceiver reaches a range of 200 meters without obstacles and 97 meters through obstacles around.

Abstract

In this digital era, network speed is very important, because nowadays many people use the internet as a companion in various events. Data communication is one of the means to allow several devices to communicate with each other. To simplify and speed up network usage, the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and User Datagram Protocol (UDP) protocols are used as the transport layer during data transfer. In running this simulation using the Cisco Packet Tracer simulation application using bus topology as the topology type.

Abstract

PT X is an animal feed industry located in East Java that generates Hazardous and Toxic Substances (B3) waste. The industry has a Temporary Storage Facility (TPS) building for storing its waste. However, an evaluation based on Regulation Permen LHK no. 6 of 2021 shows several non-compliances in the design and waste storage procedures of the B3 waste TPS. This study is conducted to evaluate and redesign PT X's B3 waste TPS to address the identified non-compliances. The stages of redesigning PT X's B3 waste TPS include: 1) identifying B3 waste, 2) evaluating the existing condition of the B3 waste TPS, 3) redesigning the B3 waste TPS, and 4) describing the building design changes. The new B3 waste TPS is designed to store toxic, liquid, and flammable waste with building dimensions of 4.15 m x 2.25 m x 3.675 m. The redesigned B3 waste TPS complies with regulations more effectively and addresses previous shortcomings.

Abstract

A river basin (DAS) is an area bordered by mountain ridges where rainwater that falls on the area will be collected by the mountain ridges and will be channeled through small rivers to the main river (Asdak, 1995). A watershed includes a land area which is one unit with a river and its tributaries, which functions to accommodate, store and channel water originating from rainfall to a lake or to the sea naturally, where the boundary on land is a topographical divide and the boundary at sea is up to with water areas that are still affected by land activities. The Lematang River is one of the longest rivers in South Sumatra, the length of the Lematang River is 271 km with a watershed area (DAS) of 295.88 km2. The existence of the Lematang watershed is a source of life for the Lahat community. The decline in the carrying capacity and carrying capacity of the Lematang watershed due to land use can be seen from flash floods and landslides, where flash floods bring sedimentation, logs of wood and twigs causing losses to the community. To overcome the problems of the Lematang Ulu watershed, Integrated Watershed Management is needed by taking concrete steps in the form of efforts to formulate goals, synchronize programs, implement and control watershed resource management across stakeholders in a participatory manner based on studies of biophysical, economic, social, political and institutional conditions in order to realize the goals. Abstract

The influence of the principal's leadership on teacher work motivation (Waitabula Elementary School) The influence of the Principal's leadership on teacher work at Waitabula Elementary School. This research aims to determine the description of teachers' work at SDK Waitabula and the relationship between teachers and the leadership of the school principal. This research is quantitative research. Meanwhile, based on the source, this research uses primary data, namely data collected by the researcher himself through distributing questionnaires to respondents, in this case is teachers at Waitabula Elementary School with a total of 36 respondents. The data collection method uses a questionnaire with a measurement scale and data obtained by descriptive statistical analysis. Data processing was carried out using SPSS version 20. Based on the research results, it showed that the school principal's leadership was in the high category with descriptive analysis results of 95% and the teacher's work was also in the high category with a percentage of 100%. The principal's leadership and teacher work motivation have a very strong relationship. The correlation coefficient value is 0.823 and the style applied by the principal at Waitabula Elementary School is the influence of leadership.

Abstract

Leaders fungtion to guide, direct, mentor, build work motivation, drive the organization, establish good communication, cary out regular supervision, and direct their subordinatis to the targets they want to achieve. In this regard, it is the obligation of every leader tomotivatie his suberdinates to work better, the leadership role is also a way that a person has to influance a group of people or subordinates to work together and make efforts with enthusiasm and confidence to achive the goals that have been set. The success of an organization, both as a whole and as a group whitin a particular organization, really depends on the effectiveness of leadership to increase employe motivation or enthusiasm for their duties and responsibilities.
