Abstract

Background : Immunization is the most effective and efficient public health effort in preventing several dangerous diseases. Routine immunization coverage in Indonesia is still in the unsatisfactory category, where Pentavalent and MR coverage does not reach 90% of the target even though the basic immunization program is provided free of charge by the government at Puskesmas and Posyandu. Objective : The purpose of this study was identify the description of the achievement of complete basic immunization at Puskesmas Penebel I.. Method : This study uses a quantitative descriptive design. The population in this study were mothers who had babies aged 9-12 months at Puskesmas Penebel I as many as 74 people with a total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by observing the baby's health card (KMS). Then the data is tabulated to get the frequency distribution of the characteristics of the respondents and the achievement of complete basic immunization. Result : The results of this study were 71.6% of respondents aged 20-26 years, 52.7% of mothers who graduated from high school, 51.4% of them worked as entrepreneurs, most of the distance between the respondents' homes and health services was 1km, most of the mothers most of them received support from their families, and most of the complete basic immunization results were obtained in the complete category of 85.1%. Conclusion : The achievement of complete basic immunization at Puskesmas Penebel I was 85.1%.

Abstract

Abstrak Ekstrak bunga kecombrang (Etlingera elatior) mengandung senyawa fenolik dan flavonoid yang mempunyai potensi sebagai pelindung surya karena mampu menyerap sinar UV A dan UV B. Paparan sinar UV diketahui dapat menimbulkan efek negatif pada kulit namun dapat diatasi melalui penggunaan sediaan pelindung surya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bunga kecombrang (Etlingera elatior) terhadap formulasi sediaan gel serta nilai faktor pelindung surya sediaan gel. Sediaan dibuat sebanyak 4 formula dengan variasi konsentrasi ekstrak. Evaluasi sediaan gel meliputi uji organoleptis, uji homogenitas, uji pH, uji daya sebar, uji daya lekat, uji viskositas dan sifat alir serta uji pemisahan fase. Penentuan nilai FPS sediaan gel dilakukan dengan metode spektrofotometri. Hasil evaluasi sediaan gel menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi bunga kecombrang (Etlingera elatior) dapat mempengaruhi keempat formula sediaan gel dan memenuhi persyaratan yang ditentukan. Hasil penentuan nilai FPS menunjukkan bahwa F1 memiliki nilai FPS 0,61 dan tidak termasuk kategori proteksi. Hal yang berbeda pada sediaan F2, F3 dan F4 menunjukkan bahwa ketiga formula masuk ke dalam kategori proteksi minimal. Uji analisis statistik dengan menggunakan One Way ANOVA dan dilanjutkan Uji Tukey HSD menunjukkan nilai p 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan bermakna pada keempat formula. Berdasarkan hasil disimpulkan bahwa bunga kecombrang (Etlingera elatior) dapat mempengaruhi formulasi sediaan gel dan juga mempengaruhi nilai FPS pada sediaan gel. . Kata kunci: bunga kecombrang (Etlingera elatior), faktor pelindung surya, gel.

Abstract

Diabetes melitus merupakan penyakit yang ditandai dengan hiperglikemia serta terjadi perubahan progesif terhadap struktur sel beta pankreas. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antidiabetes ramuan jamu daun iler (Plectranthus scutellarioides (L.) R.BR.), daun meniran (Phyllanthus niruri L.), daun sembung (Blumea balsamifera (L.) DC.), dan daun kumis kucing (Orthosiphon aristatus (B.) Miq.), terhadap tikus putih galur wistar jantan yang diinduksi aloksan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 24 ekor tikus yang dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok. Kelompok I (kelompok normal), kelompok II (kontrol negatif), kelompok III (kontrol positif) diberi glibenklamid dosis 0,49 mg/kgBB, kelompok IV, kelompok V, kelompok VI (kelompok uji) diberi dosis ramuan jamu 190 mg/200gBB, 380 mg/200gBB dan 570 mg/200gBB. Hewan uji diinduksi aloksan monohidrat dan pemberian pakan minum standar selama perlakuan. Pengambilan darah dilakukan pada hari ke 16 dan ke 31, untuk menghitung kadar menggunakan spektrofotometer klinikal. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji ANOVA satu arah hasil menunjukkan adanya perbedaan bermakna (p<0,05), kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa sediaan uji ramuan jamu pada dosis 570 mg/200gBB dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa darah sebesar 60,1975% setara dengan glibenklamid dosis 0,49 mg/kgBB dengan presentase sebesar 63,1650%.

Abstract

The prevalence of schizophrenia has increased significantly from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, schizophrenia patients showed an increase of 7 per 1,000 population and around 84.9% received medication. Schizophrenic patients must take the medicine they need throughout their lives and have regular consultations with psychologists and psychiatrists. Expenditures on BPJS healthcare have increased significantly for inpatient and outpatient costs for schizophrenic patients. Therapy for the patient with acute phase of schizophrenia are the olanzapine injection (Zyprexa®) or a combination of haloperidol (Lodomer®) and diazepam intramuscularly injection. This study aims to investigate the average cost of the two therapy when the patients being treated in the acute room and also comparing both of them in their average costs. This prospective cohort study was conducted in the special regional hospital Duren Sawit for three months starting on June until August 2019. Retrieval of data from medical records, total direct costs while being treated in the acute room. There were 193 patients participated in this study, consisting of 102 patients in the olanzapine injection group and 91 patients in the combination injection haloperidol and diazepam injection group. The average direct cost for acute phase schizophrenia patients with olanzapin injection is Rp 2.446.644±814.719, which is higher than the cost of combination of haloperidol injection and diazepam injection by Rp 1.796.962,-± Rp 408.376. Cost minimum analysis showed therapy combination injection haloperidol and diazepam injection more cheaper than therapy olanzapin injection.

Abstract

Latar Belakang Masalah: Salah satu permasalahan yang sangat mendasar pada lanjut usia adalah masalah kesehatan akibat proses degeneratif, hal ini ditunjukkan oleh data pola penyakit pada lanjut usia Tingginya angka kejadian nyeri persendian dan kurang pemanfaatan jahe emprit sebagai obat. Rumusan Masalah: Adakah perbedaan skala nyeri persendian sebelum dan sesudah kompres jahe emprit. Tujuan Penelitian: Ingin mengetahui perbedaan skala nyeri persendian sebelum dan sesudah kompres jahe emprit. Tempat dan Waktu Penelitian: di Puskesmas Eks Kotatip Cilacap dan Lingkungan BPM Mitra Bulan Maret – Mei 2022. Penelitian ini mempunyai jumlah populasi sama dengan sampel yaitu 18 lansia. Metode Penelitian: Menggunakan Metode eksperimental dan jenis penelitian Komparatif. Teknik Pengambilan Sampel: Menggunakan Total sampling, dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa jahe emprit, barutan, mangkuk, verband, VAS, buku catatan, alat tulis. Tekhnik Analisa Data: Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan T-Test Hasil Penelitian dan Pembahasan: 1. Ho diterima Ha ditolak, 2. Berdasarkan analisa data didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat perbedaan skala nyeri persendian sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan kompres jahe emprit. Simpulan: Terdapat perbedaan skala nyeri persendian sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan kompres jahe emprit. Saran: Bagi lanjut usia diharapkan untuk kedepannya lebih memanfaatkan jahe emprit sebagai terapi untuk mengurangi nyeri persendian. Bagi mahasiswi kebidanan penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi untuk menambah khasanah ilmu pengetahuan khususnya mengenai manfaat kompres jahe emprit terhadap nyeri persendian. Bagi bidan diharapkan untuk dapat meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan, terutama pada lansia dengan mengenalkan pengobatan yang efektif dan efisien untuk mengurangi nyeri persendian.

Abstract

Alzheimer's disease is a disease in which brain damage is characterized by a decrease in attention, memory, and personality. Personality changes often occur when sufferers become less spontaneous, more apathetic, and withdrawn from their environment. The use of chemical drugs derived from the synthesis of natural drugs is approved for clinical use for Alzheimer's patients. Synthesis from natural materials is carried out because of the many chemical compounds contained in plants which have various biological and pharmacological effects. As for the use of natural medicines that are efficacious as antioxidants, anticoagulants, and anti-inflammatories, they are targets in the prevention of Alzheimer's disease where from these effects they can inhibit the acetylcholinesterase enzyme that plays a role in neurotransmitter damage. This journal review aims to maximize the use of natural medicines that have antioxidant effects from plants such as turmeric (Curcuma longa L.), gotu kola (Centella asiatica L.) and Kelor leaves (Moringa oleifera Lam.) so that these three plants are expected to have an effect. potential in the prevention of Alzheimer's disease which will be discussed extensively.
