Abstract

Abstract: Application of Quantum Teaching Models in Geometry Student Learning Outcomes Improved Fourth Grade Elementary School. This study aims to: (1) describe the learning steps Quantum Teaching in improving student learning outcomes, (2) identify obstacles and solutions in the application of models of Quantum Teaching Geometry in learning. This study is a collaborative action research conducted in three cycles. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Quantum Teaching by implementing measures Grow, Natural, Namai, Demonstrate, and Celebrate Repeat to improve student learning outcomes, the pre-action mastery percentage reached 24% of new students, having implemented measures student mastery percentage in cycle I to 86%, 90% cycle II and cycle III 95%. Application of Quantum Teaching models for learning Geometry encountered some obstacles, but these constraints can be solved by implementing improvement efforts as the solution of problems were encountered. Keywords: model Quantum Teaching, student learning outcomes, Geometry Abstrak: Penerapan Model Quantum Teaching dalam Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Geometri Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendiskripsikan langkah-langkah pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dalam upaya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, (2) mengidentifikasi kendala dan solusi dalam penerapan model Quantum Teaching pada pembelajaran Geometri. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Quantum Teaching dengan menerapkan langkah-langkah Tumbuhkan, Alami, Namai, Demonstrasikan, Ulangi dan Rayakan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, pada pra tindakan persentase ketuntasan siswa baru mencapai 24%, setelah dilaksanakan tindakan persentase ketuntasan siswa pada siklus I menjadi 86%, siklus II 90% dan siklus III 95%. Penerapan model Quantum Teaching dalam pembelajaran Geometri menemui beberapa kendala, namun kendala tersebut dapat terpecahkan dengan menerapkan upaya perbaikan sebagai solusi dari kendala yang muncul. Abstract

PENERAPAN QUANTUM  LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PKn DI  KELAS V  SD NEGERI KEMBANGJITENGAN 2 KABUPATEN SLEMAN. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn di kelas V SD Negeri Kembangjitengan 2 Kabupaten Sleman dengan menerapkan Quantum Learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kembangjitengan 2 Kabupaten Sleman yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode triangulasi data. Dengan instrumen lembar observasi dan panduan wawancara guru dan siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriftif kualitatif dengan prosentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan Quantum Learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn. Peningkatan ini ditunjukkan oleh adanya peningkatan skor aktivitas belajar antara pra tindakan yaitu 32,96 menjadi 54,33 pada tindakan II dengan peningkatan sebesar 21,63 dan peningkatan prosentase sebesar 41,75%. Kata kunci: Quantum Learning, aktivitas belajar, pelajaran PKn   IMPLEMENTATION OF QUANTUM LEARNING ACTIVITIES FOR IMPROVING STUDENT LEARNING AT THE CIVICS EDUCATION ON THE FIFTH GRADE STUDENT OF SDN KEMBANGJITENGAN 2 DISTRICT OF SLEMAN. The purpose of this research is to improve students' learning activities in Civics subject in fifth grade students of SDN Kembangjitengan 2 district of Sleman by implementing Quantum Learning. This research is a classroom action research. This research is a classroom action research. The experiment was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection. Subjects were fifth grade students of SDN Kembangjitengan 2 district of Sleman totaling 24 students. Techniques of collecting data used in this research is a method of triangulation data. With the observation sheet instruments and interview guides teachers and students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative percentage. The results showed that through the implementation of Quantum Learning can improve student learning activities on the subjects of Civics. This increase is shown by an increase in scores between the pre-action learning activities that is 32.96 becomes 54.33 in the second act with an increase of 21.63 and the percentage an increase of 41.75%. Abstract

Abstract: Application of cooperative model TGT type with visual media in increase social studies learning in fourth grade elementary school. This study aimed to describe (1) to describe applied of cooperative models TGT type with visual media increase social studie  learning in fourth grade of elementary school, (2) to describe abstacles and solutions in application of cooperative models TGT type with visual media in social studie  learning  in fourth grade of elementary school. This study is a collaborative classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing, reflecting. The result showed that (1) applied of cooperative models TGT type with visual media can be run according to the scenario, can to increase social studies learning in fourth grade of elmentary school. In pre-action mastery percentage is 57% of students, after action performed in first cycle percentage is 81%, and in second cycle percentage is 86%. (2) there are abstacles and found the solutions to applied this model. Keyword: cooperative TGT type, visual media, social studies learning.   Abstrak: Penerapan Model Kooperatif Tipe TGT dengan Media Visual dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran IPS di Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) Mendeskripsikan penerapan model kooperatif tipe TGT dengan media visual yang dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS di kelas IV sekolah dasar, (2) mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi dalam penerapan model kooperatif tipe TGT dengan media visual melalui pembelajaran IPS di kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) penerapan model kooperatif tipe TGT dengan media visual sesuai skenario dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPS kelas IV sekolah dasar. Persentase ketuntasan pra-tindakan mencapai 57%,  setelah tindakan siklus I persentase ketuntasan mencapai 81%, siklus II mencapai 86%. (2) penerapan model tersebut terdapat kendala dan telah ditemukan solusi untuk mengatasinya. Kata Kunci: kooperatif tipe TGT, media visual, pembelajaran IPS.

Abstract

Abstract: Application Of Quantum Teaching Models An Efforts To Increase The Learning Quality Social Studies Fifth Grade Elementary School. The aims of this research are: (1) to describe the steps in the application of quantum teaching models an effort to increase the learning quality social studies fifth grade elementary school (2) to increase the learning teaching social studies fifth grade elementary school; (3) to know the constraints and solutions in the application of quantum teaching models on learning social studies fifth grade elementary school. This research has the shape of colaboration Class Actions Research. This research was held in 3 cycles. There were 4 stages in each cycle. They were planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection tecnhniques using observation, testing, documentation, and questionnaires. Quality of teaching has increased from cycle 1 to cycle. The percentage of student activity cycle I 74,8% and cycle II 86,7%. The percentage of motivation learning student cycle I 80,6% and cycle II 87,5%. While mastery learning student cycle I 92,9% and cycle II 98%. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsiskan langkah-langkah penerapan model quantum teaching sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran IPS kelas V SD; (2) untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS kelas V SD dengan model quantum teaching; (3) untuk mengetahui kendala dan solusi dalam penerapan model quantum teaching pada pembelajaran IPS kelas V SD. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang dilak-sanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Kualitas pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sampai Siklus II. Persentase keaktifan siswa siklus I 74,8% dan siklus II 86,7%. Persentase motivasi belajar siswa siklus I 80,6% dan siklus II 87,5%. Sedangkan ketuntasan belajar siswa siklus I 92,9% dan siklus II mencapai 98%.   Kata Kunci: Quantum Teaching, Kualitas Pembelajaran, IPS SD

This study aimed to describe the use of models cooperative learning type group investigation in improving result learning mathematic of type V grade students. This study is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of three cycles, each cycle there are two meetings. The conclusions of this study is that the use of models cooperative learning type group investigation can improve the process and learning mathematic about fraction. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas V. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari tiga siklus, masing-masing siklus ada dua pertemuan. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation dapat meningkatkan proses dan hasil belajar matematika tentang pecahan pada siswa kelas V. Abstract

Abstract: Application of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) Models with Visual Media in Increase Fraction Learning in Fourth Grade Elementary School. This study aimed to describe increase fraction learning in the fourth grade of elementary school. This study is a collaborative action research conducted in three cycles, each cycle includes the planning, acting, observation and reflection. The results show that: (1) the application of learning steps TAI models with visual media can be run according to the scenario, (2) the application of TAI models with visual media can improve learning outcomes fraction fourth grade elementary school students. In the pre-action mastery percentage reached 0% of new students, having performed the action in the first cycle of students completeness percentage increas to 94,7%, in the second cycle increas to 89,5% and the third cycle increase to 94,7%. Abstract

Abstrak: Penggunaan Metode Sing S Song dalam  Peningkatan Pemahaman Kosakata Bahasa Inggris Siswa Kelas V SD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman kosakata Bahasa Inggris Siswa Kelas V SD menggunakan metode sing a song. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas berupa perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pelaksanaan tindakan dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, masing-masing siklus dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas V SDN 1 Sangubanyu semester 2 sejumlah 17 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan datanya observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data kualitatif. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penggunaan metode Sing a Song dapat meningkatkan pemahaman kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa kelas V SD. Berdasarkan penilaian hasil diketahui persentase siswa yang tuntas mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari  kondisi awal 41,18% menjadi 82,35% pada siklus I, pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 88,23%, dan pada siklus III menjadi 94,12%. Peningkatan yang terjadi dari sebelum tindakan sampai siklus III adalah 52,94%.   Kata Kunci: Metode, sing a song, pembelajaran, bahasa Inggris. Abstract: The using of Sing a Song Method in Improving Vocabulary Mastery English Learning in the Fifth Grade Students Elementary School. The purpose of this study is to increase vocabulary mastery English Learning in the fifth class primay school with sing a song method. This research utilize Classroom Action Research (CAR). Actions observational procedure consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Action performing is performed in three cycles, each cycle two appointments. The subjects were elementary school students in fifth grade state Sangubanyu 1 with total 17 students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and tests. Data analysis using qualitative analysis data technique. The validation of data is using triangulation technique. The conclusions show the Sing a Song method can increase English vocabulary mastery for the fifth grade students state elementary school. According to the result can to be known complete student percentage experience step-up which is of condition of startup 41,18% as 82,35% on I cycle, on cycle II experience step-up as 88,23%, and on III cycle as 94,12%. Happening step-up of before action until III cycle is 52,94%. Keywords: method, sing a song, learning, English.

Abstract

Abstract : The Using Card Letters Media in Improving Java Script Reading of Elementary School Students. The purpose of this research to improve Java script reading of elementary school students and to describe about steps of using card Javanese letters media improving Java script reading of elementary school students. This research is a collaborative classroom action research. This study was conducted in 2 cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects were all students in the fourth grade school 1 Tamanwinangun academic year 2012/2013, amounting to 37 students. Data sources come from students, teacher, and observer. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews,questionnaire and tests. The validity of the source data using triangulation techniques and triangulation of data collection techniques. Analysis of data used role in action research is the analysis of quantitative data and qualitative data analysis. The conclusions of this research is the use of card letters media can improve of reading Javanese script of elementary school students and following steps: (a) letter cards held at chest height; (b) card revoked the letters one by one, (c) letter cards that have been removed are put in a certain place, and (d) the letter cards applied for various activities.. Keywords: card letters media, reading, Javanese script. Abstrak: Penggunaan Media Kartu Huruf dalam Peningkatan Kemampuan Membaca Aksara Jawa Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan membaca aksara Jawa melalui penggunaan media kartu huruf siswa sekolah dasar dan mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah yang tepat dalam menggunakan media kartu huruf yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca aksara Jawa siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Tamanwinangun tahun ajaran 2012/2013 yang berjumlah 37 siswa. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah siswa, guru, dan observer. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, angket dan tes. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan teknik triangulasi pengumpulan data. Analisis data yang dipergunakan dalan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media kartu huruf dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca aksara Jawa siswa sekolah dasar dan langkah-langkah penggunaan media kartu huruf sebagai beri-kut: (a) kartu huruf dipegang setinggi dada; (b) kartu huruf diambil satu persatu; (c) kartu huruf ditempel pada papan flanel; dan (d) kartu huruf digunakan untuk permainan.   Kata Kunci: media kartu huruf, membaca, aksara Jawa.

Abstract

Communicative Approach in English Speaking Skills in Improvement toward Student Motivation. The purpose of this study was (1) to determine the ratio between the effect of the communicative approach to expository approach in improving English speaking skills, (2) to know English speaking skills toward learning motivation, (3) to determine whether the students communicative approach motivated high learning speaking skills have improved at least better than the other fourth grade students on Alian Kebumen in 2011/2012. This research is a quantitative study using an experimental method with 2 x 2 factorial design and analysis techniques Varian Two Paths (Anava Two Way). The research can be conclude that there is a significant effect of the use of learning approaches and the level of student motivation toward improved English speaking skills, namely the existence of differences in conversational skills in students with low and high motivation, and use the communicative approach and expository.
