Abstract

The objectives of this research are to describe the steps on the application of Quantum Teaching with model, to improve Mathematics learning about geometry, and to describe problems and solutions in the application of Quantum Teaching with model. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were 35 students. The results of this research show that the application of Quantum Teaching with media can improve Mathematics learning about geometry. It was proven by the increase of learning outcomes in the first cycle 71.43%, in the second cycle 81.43%, and in the third cycle 88.57%. The application of Quantum Teaching in Mathematics learning encountered some problems but those problems can be solved through some solutions. The conclusion of this research the application of Quantum Teaching with model can improve Mathematics learning about geometry for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 7 Kutosari in the academic year of 2015/2016. Keywords: Quantum Teaching model, students? learning outcomes, geometry

Abstract

Abstract: The Application of Quantum Teaching Model Using Multimedia to Improve Social Science Learning Outcomes about Notable Figures in Indonesian Independence for the Fifth Grade Students of SD Negeri 1 Bumirejo in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The objectives of this research is  to improve social science learning for the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Bumirejo in the academic year of 2015/2016. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were 37 students (16 boys and 21 girls) of the fifth grade of SD Negeri 1 Bumirejo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SDN 1 Bumirejo tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaborasi menggunakan rancangan penelitian siklus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 1 Bumirejo, sejumlah 37 siswa dengan 16 siswa laki-laki dan 21 siswa perempuan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Quantum Teaching dengan multimedia dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS tentang tokoh proklamasi pada siswa kelas V SDN 1 Bumirejo tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Kata Kunci: Quantum Teaching, Multimedia, Hasil Belajar IPS

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the steps on the application of Time Token model using photo story media, (2) to improve story telling ability through the application of Time Token model using photo story media for the IV B class in SDN 2 Kebadongan in the academic year of 2015/2016. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings including planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were IV B class students of SD Negeri 2 Kebadongan totaling 20 students. The conclusion of this research is the application of Time Token using photo story media can improve story telling ability for IV B class students in SD Negeri 2 Kebadongan in the academic year of 2015/2016 through ten steps as follow (1) the steps of Time Token model using photo story media consisted of ten stages, namely: (a) opening, (b) deliver objectives of learning, (c) explain materials of text in photo story media, (d) group division, (e) give assignment, and (f) give coupon, (g) students tell story, (h) give score, (i) conclude the materials, (j) evaluation. Abstract

Abstract. The Application of Role Playing Model with Audio Visual Media to Increase Motivation and Learning Outcomes of Social Studies V Grade SDN 1 Brecong Academic Year 2015/2016. The purpose of this study is to improve motivation and learning outcomes of social studies, and describe the problems and solutions implementation of the role playing model with audio-visual media. This research is collaborative-classroom action reseach in three cycles and each cycle consist of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were students of fifth grade SDN 1 Brecong. The results showed that the application of role playing model with audio-visual media can improve motivation and learning outcomes social studies. Problem in the application of the role playing model with audio-visual media, namely in setting teacher pay less attention to players according to ability, students are less animating role, less active students ask when learning activities. As for the solution of the problems that teachers pay more attention to the ability of the students in setting the player, more students animating role with the guidance of teachers, and students are more active in asking. Penerapan Model Role Playing dengan Media Audio Visual  untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar IPS  pada Siswa Kelas V SDN 1 Brecong Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPS serta mendeskripsikan kendala dan solusi penerapan model role playing dengan media audio visual. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini merupakan penelitian kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 1 Brecong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan model role playing dengan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPS. Kendala yang muncul dalam penerapan model role playing dengan media audio visual,yaitu dalam menetapkan pemain guru kurang memperhatikan sesuai kemampuan siswa, siswa kurang menjiwai perannya, siswa kurang aktif bertanya saat kegiatan pembelajaran. Adapun solusi dari kendala tersebut yaitu guru lebih memperhatikan kemampuan yang dimiliki siswa dalam menetapkan pemain, siswa lebih menjiwai perannya dengan dibimbing guru, dan siswa lebih aktif bertanya. Kata kunci: role playing, audio visual, hasil belajar, IPS

Abstract

 Abstract: The Application of Discovery Learning Model Using Multimedia in Improving Social Science Learning for the Fourth Grade Students of SD Negeri 5 Bumirejo. The objectives of this research are: (1) to improve social science learning about economy activity and (2) to describe the steps on the application of discovery learning with multimedia. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR). Validity of data in this research was analyzed using triangulation of sources and triangulation of technique. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion or verification. The results of this research show that: (1) the application of discovery learning with multimedia can improve students? learning outcomes of social science and (2) the steps on the application of discovery learning with multimedia are as follows: orientation, problem statement, data collecting, data processing, verification, and generalization. Keywords: discovery learning, multimedia, learning, social science Abstrak: Penerapan Discovery learning dengan Multimedia dalam Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPS Pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN 5 Bumirejo. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu (1) meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS tentang aktivitas ekonomi; (2) mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penerapan discovery learning dengan multimedia. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif. Validasi data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. The objectives of this research are to describe the steps on the application of Discovery Learning with visual media and to improve Mathematics learning about fraction for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Karangsari in the academic year of 2015/2016. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles in five meetings. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the steps on the application of Pair Check Cooperative Learning Model with concrete media, (2) to improve Mathematics learning about fraction through the application of Pair Check Cooperative Learning Model with concrete media, and (3) to find problems and solutions on the application of Pair Check Cooperative Learning Model with concrete mediain improvingMathematics learning about fraction for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jlegiwinangunin the academic year of 2015/2016.This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were 19 students. Sources of data were derived from students, teacher, and observer. Techniques of collecting data were learning outcomes test, observation, interview, and documentation. Validity of data in this research was analyzed using triangulation of sources and triangulation of technique. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptiveanalysis.The results of this research show that: (1) the steps of Pair Check Cooperative Learning Model with concrete media was conducted appropriately through steps as follows: (a) explanation of concept with concrete media, (b) group division, (c) distribution of exercises and concrete media, (d) practice dosing exercises with concrete media, (e) trainer check the answer with concrete media, (f) give coupon to answer correctly, (g) trainer and partner change the role, (h) trainer and partner back to previous team, (i) give rewards; (2) the application of Pair Check Cooperative Learning Model with concrete media can improve Mathematics learning about fraction for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jlegiwinangun in the academic year of 2015/2016. It was proven by the increase of learning outcomes in the first cycle 73,68%, in the second cycle 86,40%, and in the third cycle 92,10%; and (3) the problems encountered in the learning, namely: (a) the teacher pays less attention students who face difficulties, (b) the teacher does not guide students in doing assignments. Solutions for these problems are: the teacher pays more attention students who face difficulties, (b) the teacher guides students well in doing assignments.The conclusion of this research is the application of Pair Check Cooperative Learning Model with concrete media can improve Mathematics learning about fraction for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jlegiwinangunin the academic year of 2015/2016.

Abstract

Abstract: The Application of Problem Based Learning Model in Improving Mathematics Learning about Fraction Problem for the Fifth Grade Students of SD Negeri 1 Kedungwinangun in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The objective of this research is to improve Mathematics learning about fraction problem through the application of Problem Based Learning for the fifth grade students of elementary schools. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Abstract

Abstract: The Application of Scientific and Technological Community Model Using Environmental Resource in Improving Natural Science Learning about Force for the Fourth Grade Students of SD Negeri Pandanlorin the Academic Year of 2015/2016.The objectives of this research isto improve natural science learning about force. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were 25 students. The results of this research show that the application of STM model using environment learning resources can improve natural science learning about force. It was proven by the increase of learning outcomes in the first cycle 58.63%, in the second cycle 80%, and in the third cycle 96%. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 25 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aplikasi model STM dengan sumber belajar lingkungan sekitar dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA tentang gaya. Peningkatan pembelajaran IPA dari 58,63% pada siklus I, meningkat menjadi 80% pada siklus II dan meningkat lagi menjadi 96% pada siklus III. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah aplikasi model Sains Teknologi Masyarakat dengan sumber belajar lingkungan sekitar dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran IPA tentang gaya pada siswa kelas IV SDN Pandanlor Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Kata kunci: Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM),sumber belajar lingkungan, IPA

Abstract

Abstrak: Penerapan Model Contextual Teaching and Learning Dengan Media  Konkret dalam Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPA pada Siswa Kelas V SD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penerapan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan media konkret dan meningkatkan hasil belajar pada siswa kelas V SD. Tiap siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan, dan tiap pertemuan terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN Tunjungseto dengan jumlah 21 siswa. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah langkah-langkah penerapan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dengan media konkret, yaitu (a) guru memberikan permasalahan dengan menggunakan media konkret, (b) membagi kelompok untuk diskusi dan mengamati media konkret, (c) belajar mandiri, (d) presentasi, (e) refleksi, (f) menilai hasil belajar siswa, serta dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca intensif pada siswa kelas IV SD. Hal ini terbukti dari jumlah siswa yang mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal ?70 pada siklus I sebanyak 73,81%, siklus II sebanyak 92,85%, dan siklus III sebanyak 100%.
