Abstract

In 2022, cases of covid-19 in Indonesia have decreased compared to 2021. This has led to a loosening of rules related to social activities so that it has an impact on practising badminton. The purpose of this study was to determine the motivation to train East Java badminton athletes in 2021 and 2022. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach. The research subjects were badminton athletes, both male and female, who were included in the age group of teenagers, cadets and adults who were in 10 badminton clubs in 9 districts/cities in East Java Province. The research instrument used a motivational questionnaire that was validated by expert judgements with a total of 19 questions and 6 questions about the frequency, intensity, and duration of exercise. Data collection was carried out 2 times in June 2021 and March 2022 using an online google form. Data analysis used descriptive tests and paired t-tests using SPSS 20 software. The results showed that the motivation to train East Java badminton athletes was dominant in the moderate category with a percentage of 47.06% in 2021 and a percentage of 38.82% in 2022. The results of the t-test Pairs also show that there is a significant difference in motivation to train East Java badminton athletes between 2021 and 2022 on all indicators. The conclusion is that the motivation to train East Java badminton athletes in 2022 is better than in 2021.

Abstract

The gross motor skills of preschoolers are an important part of the child's growth and development process in learning motion. Kids Athletic is one of the intervention references that is thought to be able to develop and improve the gross motor skills of preschool children. However, references to the intervention of the Athletic figurative game in learning need to be developed through game modification. This study aims to analyze the effect of developing modified teaching materials for children's athletic games on gross motor learning outcomes for preschoolers. This type of research is experimental with a pretest and posttest design. 19 students from PAUD TAAM Al-Mubarok Kota Kediri are selected to be part of this study from nonprobability sampling. The results of this study obtained a significance value of 0.00, which is smaller than 0.05. Based on the gross motor skills pretest results are in the BSH (Grow as Expected) level which students are capable to convey the movement, yet they are not capable to perform it properly, and still require teacher assistance. Whereas the gross motor skills post-test results are in the BSB (Well Developed) level which students are capable to perform the movement without teacher assistance. The conclusion of this study is teaching modules developed can influence and improve the learning outcomes of preschool students in terms of their gross motor skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of auxiliary media on the hitting ability of the tennis game. The research method used is an experimental method, namely using a pre-experimental design experimental design. For a more specific experimental research design, the author uses a one-group pretest-posttest research model. The population in this study were third-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jambi which consisted of 1 class totalling 31 students. The sample in this study were all third-grade students at the 1jambi State Elementary School, totalling 31 students who were designated as all samples because the number of samples or subjects was less than 100 people, therefore the sampling used the total sampling technique, which included all members of the population as research sample. Based on the results of the research, the count value is 5,208 by looking at the statistical table where the degrees of freedom db=(N-1) are 31-1=30 and at the 5% significance level, the t-table value is 2,042. Thus, it can be concluded that the value of t-test > t-table or 14,667 > 2,042, meaning that the hypothesis is accepted that there is an effect of using auxiliary media on the ability to play tennis in third-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Jambi. The percentage increase is 34.9%.

Abstract

This study is to determine whether there is an effect of traditional sports on increasing dynamic balance in grade IV Kiyonten 1 State Elementary School children. The design of this research is pre-experimental with one group pre-test – post-test design, This research instrument with observation and in the form of a test Modified Bass Test of Dynamic Balance. This study will use descriptive statistical data analysis techniques and analyze them with the application of SPSS (statistical product and service solutions) IBM 25, which is to test for normality and test for homogeneity. When the data is normal, it can be continued to Test – T. After being tested for normality, it turns out that the results are not normal (rejected), therefore the search for hypotheses can be done with Statistics Non-Parametric or exact Test  Wilcoxon, that Asymp. sig (2-tailed) is worth 0.001. Because the value is 0.001  pretest with post-test, it can be said that there is an effect of using treatment engklek traditional exercise on improving dynamic balance in grade IV SD N Kiyonten 1. So the study experienced an 11% increase in dynamic balance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine The Effect of the Warming Up with Estafet Ball Game Method on Student's Interest in Learning PJOK, this type of research is experimental with a quantitative approach, the total sample is 55, namely the experimental sample of 28 students and a sample of 27 students at SDN Batah Barat 2. The instrument is playing an interaction of the ball game and getting a questionnaire. Analyst data uses validity which is said to be valid because the value of r-table > 0,361 and reliability is said to be reliable because it is greater than 0,05. Then the big data analysis technique uses a prerequisite test more than the normality test with a normal distribution because it is greater than 0,05. Namely the experiment with the result of 0,680 and the control class 0,290. The homogeneity test is said be homogeneous because 0,793 > 0,05. And test the hypothesis using an independent t-test. Based on the independent t-test, there is no significant effect because the value obtained is 0,897. This means that H0 is rejected in the warm-up method of the estafet ball game, and the interest in learning PJOK has no significant effect.

Abstract

The aging process is something that will be experienced by every individual which will be accompanied by a decrease in various functions of the body including a decrease in balance and muscle strength it can increase the risk of falling in the elderly which can cause injury,  fracture, and even death. This study aims to compare the effects of the Square step exercise to the Balance exercise strategy on changes in limb muscle strength and balance in the elderly. The design of this study is comparative analytic with a sample of 40 elderly people experiencing balance disorders and decreased limb muscle strength. The respondents were grouped into two. Each group consists of 20 respondents. The first group is that of respondents who were given Square step exercise treatment and the second group includes the respondents given the Balance exercise strategy. Based on the results of the paired t-test analysis, there was a significant effect on changes in balance and lower limb muscle strength with a value (p = 0.001) in the group treated with the Square step exercise. In the Balanced exercise strategy treatment group, there were also significant changes in balance and lower leg muscle strength (p = 0.001). The results of the independent t-test indicated a significant difference between the group of respondents who were given the Square step exercise and the group of respondents who were given the Balance exercise strategy that includes balance changes (p = 0.033) and changes in muscle strength. leg (p=0.027). In conclusion, the Balance exercise strategy is better in increasing limb muscle strength and balance in the elderly compared to the Square step exercise. Hence the Balance exercise strategy can be used as a reference in reducing the risk of falling in the elderly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in the effect of Single Leg Tuck Jump and Depth Jump on Increasing Limb Muscle Explosive Power in Futsal Players at SMA Negeri 15 Makassar with a sample of 18 people who fit the inclusion criteria, randomized into 2 groups, namely treatment group I given Single Leg Tuck Jump and treatment group II given Depth Jump. This study uses a vertical jump test to measure the explosive power of the leg muscles. The type of research used by the researcher is experimental research using a Quasi Experiment design. In this study, the pre-test-post-test two-group design method was used. Based on the analysis of the paired-sample t-test in the treatment data group I, the value of p = 0.000 was obtained. Treatment data group II obtained a p-value = 0.000. The data above for treatment groups I and II show that there is a significant effect of Single Leg Tuck Jump and Depth Jump. Then, based on the independent t-test, the p-value = 0.003, which means that there is a significant difference between treatment group I and treatment group II. This study concludes that the provision of Single Leg Tuck Jump exercises is more effective than Depth Jump exercises to increase leg muscle explosive power in futsal players.
