Abstract

Banyumanik District is a new growth center that tends to develop towards the suburbs. The development of a new growth center was followed by an increasing population in Banyumanik District and is currently dominated by the productive age population. The more developed Banyumanik District, the more needs that must be met, such as transportation. It is seen from the number of productive age population in Banyumanik District while the activity center is in the center of Semarang City. Trans Semarang is a public transportation that is provided to fulfill the needs of the citizen for transportation, but until now it still has a small number of enthusiasts, as seen from the average load factor rate of 45.72%. Accessibility to shelters is very important in the operation of Trans Semarang because Trans Semarang is a closed public transportation system. The purpose of this research is to find out the conditions of accessibility and the level of accessibility of shelter according to perspective of productive age population in Banyumanik District. The analytical tools used are scoring and descriptive statistics. The results of the analysis showed that the accessibility level of shelters in Banyumanik District is divided into 3 levels, namely Level V, Level VI, and Level VII but overall Banyumanik District falls into Level VI with a score of 92.14. This means that the accessibility of shelters is moderate but tends to be bad based on each condition forming the accessibility factor for the shelter.

Abstract

Kota Kendal sub-district according to Regional Regulation No. 20 of 2011 about Urban dan Regional Planning Kendal Regency in 2011-2031 was included in one of the flood-prone districts. The purpose of this study was to assess the level of hazard and vulnerability of flooding in Kota Kendal Subdistrict. The type of analysis carried out was AHP analysis, analysis of flood hazard and vulnerability using GIS software. Based on the results of the analysis of flood hazard, it is known that there are 3 levels of flood hazard, high, medium, and low. The high level located along the Kendal River. Middle level area is an area that is passed by the Kendal River, Buntu River, and Blorong River. Low flood level area in some areas in 7 subdistricts. Based on the results of the flood vulnerability analysis, there are 2 levels of flood vulnerability, middle, and low, including 12 sub-districts included in the middle vulnerability and 3 sub-districts included in the low vulnerability. In order to reduce the impact of flooding, it is expected that the local government can improve socialization of disaster response and early warning to residents who are at high and middle levels of hazard and vulnerability.

Abstract

One of the natural disasters that often occur in hilly areas is landslides. Landslides can occur due to the movement of masses of land, rocks, the intensity of very high rainfall, and many other factors, and have the potential to damage the environment by causing various losses. Sumowono District is one of the vulnerable areas to landslides in Kabupaten Semarang, which is located in highland and mountainous areas with the soil condition that are quite vulnerable with high intensity of rainfall. Landslides often occur in Sumowono District and cause losses. In 2015, there were around 12 landslides in this sub-district and some affected residents and caused material losses. Distribution of landslides and the time when the disaster occurred was difficult to predict, so there was no effort early treatment before the landslide disaster occurs. The purpose of this study is mapping and identifying the distribution of vulnerable areas to landslides using matrix matrix pairwise comparison method and SNI Permen PU No.22/PRT/M/2007 in Sumowono District. The methods that will be used in this study are the scoring method, matrix pairwise comparison in the context of AHP with expert judgment, and weighted overlay technique. Criteria used include topography, soil type, geological structure, rainfall, land cover, and population density. The results of this study are the distribution of landslide vulnerable areas based on SNI Permen PU No.22/PRT/M/ 2007 with modification and pairwise comparison. Identification of the distribution of landslide areas that are more accurate in representing condition in the area is SNI Permen PU that are classified into three classes, which is high vulnerability with an area of 1.089,07 Ha or 18,53% spread across 16 villages, with an area of 3.513,64 ha or 59,77% spread over 16 villages, and low with an area of 1.276,20 Ha or 21,71% spread over 15 villages.

Abstract

Kampung Kali Code is one of the urban villages in the center of Yogyakarta City. Kampung Kali Code development began with the initiative of the community to improve the image of slums to be more organized. The development was carried out through the 3M program (Mundur, Munggah, and Madep), this led to the development of the physical design of the Kampung Kali Code neighborhood. The physical design of the environment is in the form of the existence of regional facilities that will support the activities of the surrounding community. These activities arise due to the need of the community to live comfortably and safely. The purpose of the community that exists for safe and comfortable living can be seen through the generation of activities affecting crime prevention. To help this research a quantitative approach was used by distributing questionnaires spread across 5 RW Kampung Kali Code of Gondokusuman District. From the results of the study, it can be seen that the activities in the Kampung Kali Code occur because of the physical design of the environment in the form of public facilities that create an activity according to the needs of the community. With the existence of these public facilities, crime prevention can be done because the community conducts daily activities in the area provided and will minimize the area prone to crime in Kampung Kali Code itself.

The impact of the industry on increasing pollution, they are water, air and noise pollution, found that as many as 98% of the people in the study area did not feel water pollution and 2% felt there was water pollution. Then for air pollution 57% do not feel air pollution while 43% feel there is air pollution. While for noise as much as 57% did not feel noise and 43% felt that there was industrial noise, the increase in disease did not have much impact.
