Abstract

The aim ofthis research is to observe the transformation ofK225 concrete cube strengthafter combusted on temperatures of300, 600 and 900 degree ofCelcius. The test was conductedon the concrete age of35 days and the mix design was added by superplasticizer to slow downthe concrete formation. The additional superplasticizer will slow down the transformation ofCalciumhydroxide (Ca(OH)) into Calciumoxyde (CaD), so it will lessen the reduction ofconcretecube strength due to combustion.

Abstract

Persil yang tampak dari citra digital image google-earth dihitungpanjang segmen garis, keliling dan luasnya. Dilakukan pertama kali dengan mencatat koordinat bujur dan lintang dari titik-titik pajak pada persil kolam renang yang ada di kampus UNY Hasil pencatatan koordinat kemudian digunakan untuk membuat sebuah theme points.Selanjutnya dibuat tiga buah theme baru dengan tipe line, polyline, dan polygon, dan dari ketiga theme ini dihitung panjang segmen garis, keliling dan luas. Hasil perhitungan dengan tool pointer menunjukkan perbedaaan yang tidak nyata dibanding dengan pengukuran langsung,  sedankan perhitungan dengan tool Calculate memilikiperbedaan yang sangat nyata.

Abstract

Laweyan village has existed since the beginning of Nagari Surakarta Hadiningrat in1745. It is such as a village ofbathik merchant with specific architecturalcharacteristics. The character forms a merger of many architectural styles, which isdominated by Europhean (Western) style whithout disapearing Javanese architecturalcharacteristics.In order to understand the using of European architectural elements, the research isperformed by naturalistic approach. The samples and themes are defined on the fieldpurposively. The finding of the themes is connected inductively in order to get theideographic construction as localfinding. ,The research founds the using ofgolden section in defining building sshape proportionand arranging its facade composition. The European forms and ornaments consist ofArtdeco, Art nouveau, Greek and Indies which are merged in Javaneseformat eclectically.There is tendency that European forms and ornaments arefound in the roomsor part ofbuilding with visual continuity positions.

Abstract

Dam is a structure which is the main function is to dammed up theflow ofthe river so that it gets the sum ofa specific volume ofthe water. The dam can be builtfrom concrete, stone, sand,. clay or combinations between them. As it function to resist the water flow ofthe river, the dam must be controlledfrom its displacement or turning over came fromthe water pressure. On the clay-typed dam, the safety value is also determinedfrom the water "rembesan ". As its affected to the stability of the dam, "rembesan" can caused the leak ofthe water to the dam and then become ruin. To anticipate those phenomenon of "rembesan" need a ''pengamatan cermat" to the "rembesan" activity of the dam so the development of "rembesan " activity can be detected, find the problem and then appropriate actions can be taken to solve them, and then more bigger problem can be avoided. The next important aspects are the dam s "rembesan" and "bocoran". On a specific circumstances, beside the "rembesan" and "bocoran" which can caused loosing the water, the "bocoran" can broke down the stability ofthe surrouding structure nearthe dam. The underground "rembesan" on a dam can be determined through numerical model with the finite element method. The utilization ofthe finite element method on the case ofthe dam "rembesan" seem like a new method compared with the finite difference method.

Abstract

This paper presents results of research in mathematical model for solving mild slope equation using finite element method. In this method the model in differential equation is approximated with Galerkin smethod and then the equation formed is solved with job iteration.. The equation of refraction and diffraction can be formulated as Mild Slope equation which is assumed that the depth is constant. The result of his research indicates that mathematical model using finite element method give a good perfomance.

Abstract

The Madura Bridge is expected to be finished on the year of 2009 so that tl. Madura Island will be in the positive economic growth. To support those ofdevelopme} in Madura Island, there must be supporting infrastructures need to be prepaired i. e. watl supply infrastructure.The water source in Madura Island is very low especially the surface watlsource. Meanwhile there hasn't been any research conducted on groundwater sconditic andpotension. So that it need to conduct a research on the utility effect ofgroundwater condition andpotention in Kabupaten Sampang and Kabupaten Pamekasan. The result shows that the total sum ofgroundwater sutility until now in Kabupatl Sampang is 101188.81 cu. m/day, meanwhile the total sum of groundwater s utility Kabupaten Sampang is 176761,93 cu.m/day, and the total sum of goundwater s utih in Cekungan Sampang-Pamekasan is about 214800 cu.m/day or 7840200 cu.m/yel The recharge amout is about 590090 cu.m/day or 215678000 cu.m/year. Meanwhile t, potention of groundwater s utility in Cekungan Ketapang is about 37100 cu.m/day 13541000 cu.m/year, with the recharge amount is about 300170 cu.m/day or 10956201 cu.m/year.

Abstract

At a several time later, Indonesia got many disasters. One of it was a landslide disaster at Gedangsari Gunungkidul (near Klaten). This accident occur was caused by water infiltration into the soil that changed characteristic ofsoil,. the shear strength of soil decreased untilpassed the limit ofsafetyfactor, so landslide occurred. This research tries to obtain what caused landslide, because ofinternalfactor, externalfactor and what its cock.

Abstract

AbstractBuilding structures have manystyles, forms andmodels that becomingseparatephenomenonfor civil engineer in analyzing its structure. One is structure configuration with length variationofbeam.The objection ofthis study is to know theperformance level ofstructure along with its elementto the variation ofbeam length to structure ductility, to know the global ductility that reached, andalso to get the comparison ofdesign target displacement to actual target displacement for everystructure model. Abstract

Friendly environmental building design using alternative energy planning will be a trend in the future. Supplying the needs oflighting, sunlight should have been explored to be the main energy sources for lighting during the day. There are two methods to calculate the amount ofnatural light intensity in space, called DF (Daylighting Factor). Both methods use a different approach, namely Split Flux Method and Design Chart Method. Split Flux methoduse graphical approach, while Design Chart use mathematical approach. Both of methods will be tested and compare with the measurement record to ensure the most accurate calculation results.This study uses a quantitative approach. Both ofmethods will be applied in cases ofa space (the drawing room ofCivil Education and Planning Department, engineering faculty, UNY). Then the calculation results are compared with measurement results of secondary data. The data will be analysed using statistical approaches.
