Abstract

The privatization of the current coastal border began to bloom in many areas of Bali. No exception in Sanur Beach, Denpasar. In this study the privatization of coastal border is done by the accommodation provider of Santrian Resorts and Villas, which houses two hotels, including Puri Santrian A Beach Resort and Spa and Griya Santrian A Beach Resort. The purpose of this research is to know the form of privatization conducted by Santrian Resorts and Villas at Sanur Beach. As well as knowing the Denpasar city government policy on the privatization of beach border in Sanur Beach. The research methodology used in this research is qualitative research. The method are use in-depth interview technique and observation. Santrian Resorts and Villas is right to practice the privatization of coastal border. Therefore, many activities of tourists, tourists and informal business actors in the field of tourism becomes disrupted. Although there is already a policy on coastal border made by the Denpasar City Government, the policy is considered not yet firm in following up the violation. Abstract

Sayan Village is one of the villages in Ubud that has a lot of potential to be used as a tourism village. The first three great potentials are natural tourism, potential opportunities for water tubing tourism, and also the potential of Puri Sayan as a heritage tourism object in Sayan Village, which is being planned by the village government and local communities. In addition to the three great potentials, Sayan Village also has the potential for water tourism with beji spring sources which are a source of water that is purified by the local community and is usually used for melukat. In this case, the researcher focused more on discussing the development of biology natural tourism which is currently used as the center of tourism village activities in Sayan Village. This study uses collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis and SWOT analysis. The technique of determining informants used purposive sampling technique. The results of this study contain the existing conditions of Desa Sayan based on tourism product components, namely attractions, amenities, accessibility, and ancilliary. And the strategy for developing SWOT-based Sayan Tourism Village. So that the strategies obtained produce the best ways to realize one of the missions of Desa Sayan as a sustainable tourism village. Abstract

This research is conducted in Catur Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency. The purpose of this research is to identify the decreasing number of coffee land of Kintamani Bali Coffee plantation and its causes. The data used in this research are qualitative and quantitative, while the data of this research consists of of primary and secondary data. The data is collected through observation, depth interviews, and documentation. The informants are determined through purposive sampling procedure, and they are I Ketut Jati (Head of Masyarakat Perlindungan Indikasi Geografis Kintamani) and Kocong Neca (Local Coffee Farmer). Afterward, the data that has been found is analyzed by descriptive qualitative method. The results of this research show that the decreasing number of coffee land of Kintamani Bali Coffee plantation on has reach its dangerous point and threaten tourism in Kintamani. In the last two years, the number of coffee land of Kintamani Bali Coffee had decreased significantly from 6.335 Ha to 4.772 Ha and automatically causing the total production of Kintamani Bali Coffee beans dropped from 2.314 Ton to 2.046 Ton. The biggest reason of the decreasing number of coffee land came from land conversion. The difference of income between coffee plantation with orange plantation also made farmers in Desa Catur to shift to grow more orange than coffee. In a 0,5 Ha field, orange plantation could gain profits approximately for Rp 114.945.000, while coffee plantation only gain profits for Rp 63.530.000. Moreover, plant-paracitic nematodes are damaging the coffee plantation. Therefore, the number of lands to grow coffee are decreasing. The recomendation from this research addressed to government service of Agriculture, Plantation and Forestry Bangli to keep oversee Kintamani Bali Coffee plantation and give an aid towards the Nematoda Parasite Diseases problem. Furthermore, farmers required to improve their human resource’s skill, so they can use management system on their plantation. Abstract

This study aims to describe a picture of how potential is and what the appropriate development strategy for a traditional market in Medan, Pajak Ikan. This research was conducted by using descriptive method. The data was collected by interview and observation. Interviews were conducted with a few selected outlets randomly(random sampling). And observations conducted with the involvement of information from many parties involved, include society community and local government. Implementation of these research activities carried out for 10 months, starting from the preparation of proposals that have been field since December 2018 to September 2019. The results showed that Pajak Ikan in Medan has the potential to be developed into a shopping center in the city of Medan. Then for alternative development strategies that best fit based on the results of the analysis is a strategy QSPM SO1 (Strength-Opportunity) is a strategy that uses the internal strangth to take advantage of external opportunities that exist in the way of executing many events with grand publications in the area of Pajak Ikan. Abstract

Yasa Putra Sedana is an art studio engaged in dance and percussion, In its activities, Yasa Putra Sedana must be able to compensate with good service to tourists so that tourists feel happy and comfortable. This study aims to analyze the level of tourist satisfaction with the quality of services provided by employee, in order to determine the level of satisfaction of tourists who come to the Yasa Putra Sedana Art Studio and then can be further evaluated. This research was conducted at the Yasa Putra Sedana Art Studio in Banjar Pengaji, Melinggih Kelod Village, the District of Payangan, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province, the type of data in this study used quantitative and qualitative data, where the data were obtained using a questionnaire distribution method, in-depth interviews, observations / Observation and documentation. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique, and then the data obtained were analyzed with a qualitative descriptive technique using a Likert scale. The results of this research is, that the level of tourist satisfaction with the quality of service at the Yasa Putra Sedana Art Studio gets a very satisfied value, this is obtained from the results of the calculation of the average score obtained from the distribution of questionnaires from the level of performance and level of importance to all the indicators that affect the level tourist satisfaction, obtained a yield of 101.189% (very satisfied). Abstract

Bounce Bali is one of the tourist attraction in Bali. It is located in Canggu Village, Kuta Utara District, Badung Regency. It offers an indoor trampoline activity. This sport has a potential risk. Therefore, it is essential to implement safety and healthy procedure. The types of data are qualitative. This research analyzes the primary and secondary source of data. Data are collected through an observation, interview, and literature review. They are discussed descriptively. Qualitative data analyzes are carried out to understand the aim of the research. The result of the study shows that Bounce Bali has been applied the safety and heathy procedure. They implement the standards of using the trampoline and provide the first aid facility. Abstract

Bali as one of the axes of Indonesian tourism, has two types of tourism, including mass tourism and special interest tourism. Both tours have each interested person or tourist that can be seen from the motivation of visiting tourists. The development of mass tourism in Bali experienced a good increase of the number of tourist destinations from the early days of tourism taken over by the Indonesian government from colonialism in the 1960s to the present time is the type of tourism that brought tourists the most. in contrast to special interest tourism, this type of tourism is not considered to be one of the sources of regional income because the characteristics of tourism activities tend to be carried out with a limited number of tourists. Like the potential of Mount Agung. Gunung Agung has the potential of nature and culture and has a high historical value. Until when tourism enters Bali, Gunung Agung has not been glimpsed to become one of the tourist attractions. At that time Mount Agung was still used as a place for carrying out Hindu spiritual activities. Along with the development of knowledge and technology at that time, a new activity was born in Mount Agung, namely outdoor climbing activities. Tourism then joins with the climbing activity so that the new tourism power will be called Gunung Agung for hiking activities.Related to the above matter, the formulation of the problem in this study was formed, raising about the potentials found in Mount Agung which was later linked to the formulation of the second problem, namely the development of tourism climbing Mount Agung. This study used the observation method, researchers in this topic also acted as one of the activists of hiking tourism activities and then looking for data by interviewing people who were considered relevant to the problem such as the head of the tourism conscious group, a climber in the 1970s, forestry agency the province of Bali, as well as a guide who guides tours up Mount Agung. As for the results obtained in this study, the first is the potentials found in Mount Agung are natural potential, cultural potential, and artificial potential. Natural potential in the form of cliffs, slopes, forests, and the crater of Mount Agung. cultural potential in the form of pelinggih and temples at certain points along the Besakih line and Pura Pasar Agung. while the artificial potential in the form of climbing activities, paragliding, and others. The results of the second question formulation question will then be presented using the tourismemorphosis analysis concept (Anom et al. 2018) which explains the development of using four stages including the introduction stage, reaction stage, institutionalization stage, and the Compromise stage. Abstract

Makotek tradition is believed as a tradition to ward off bad omens which is practiced twice a year at Kuningan Day by Munggu villagers. In addition to the function of Makotek tradition as religious ritual, it also has a function as tourism attraction. This research aims to identify the value of Makotek tradition and gives some recommendation about tourism attraction development based on Makotek tradition value hence the stakeholder at Munggu Tourism Village can get additional reference to develop various tourism activities. This research uses qualitative method and applies tourism attraction concept, tourism attraction development concept, and special interest tourism concept. Makotek tradition value were: 1) presentations value of Makotek are talent value, skill value, and medium value; 2) content value of Makotek are knowledge value, ethnic value, intuition value, concept value, life value (morality value, social value, religion value); 3) appearance value of Makotek are form value (shape value and structure value). Special interest tourism attraction developments that can be done were: 1) develop attractions with something to see criteria that represents content value (knowledge and life value) of Makotek tradition and meets enriching and learning aspect; 2) develop attractions with something to do criteria that represents presentation value (skill, talent and medium value), content value (social, knowledge, intution, concept value), appearance value (shape and structure value) of Makotek tradition and meets rewarding, enriching, adventuring, and learning aspect; 3) develop attractions with something to buy criteria that represents presentation value (skill value) of Makotek Tradition and meets rewarding aspect. Abstract

The eruption of Mount Agung has an immense impact on Bali, especially in the economic sector of the tourism business. The locations which are far from Gunung Agung have been affected especially in the Southern part of Bali which has a higher growth of tourism compared to the rest. This is interesting to study especially in the tourism related business namely the Batu Bolong Beach area. The purpose of this study is to determine the post- eruption implications of Mount Agung that have hit Bali in terms of the socio-economic aspects of tourism stakeholders and the existing business conditions in the Batu Bolong Beach area. As well as knowing the crisis management system in the tourism in Batu related business at Batu Bolong Beach and seeking at the situation and condition those who work for tourism related businesses at the Batu Bolong Beach area.The research methodology used in this study is qualitative research. Where qualitative uses in-depth interview techniques, observations and qualitative documents as well as using the concept of socio-economic impacts of tourism to see the socio-economic impacts arising from the eruption of Mount Agung. The results shows the conditions of tourism businesses after the eruption, theses include: type of business, product range and price, tourist visits, post-eruption economic income. Another result is the socioeconomic condition of tourism stakeholder in the Batu Bolong Beach area. Key word: Implication social economic tourism, Mount Agung Eruption, Tourism business
