Abstract

Abstract Research for studies both simultaneous or partial correlations of democratic parenting and self-efficacy to creativity. Subject are 123 mid adolescence (60 boys and 63 girls), ages from 16 to 18 years old. Data taken from scales of C.O.R.E for creativity, P.A.O.D. for democratic parenting and ED-G for self-efficacy. Result of simultaneous test it R = 0,384, F = 10,349, p = 0,000 (p 0,05). Democratic parenting and self-efficacy simultaneously and significant would have predicting creativity. R2 = 0,147 refer that 14,7% varians proportion on creativity would hava explained from democratic parenting and self-efficacy, othre for 85,3% could explained from other factors that not self-efficacy. Constant of 146,671 is score of creativity if no democratic parenting and self-efficacy. Result of partial test of democratic parenting t = 0,420, p = 0,675 (p 0,05). Democratic parenting partially wasnt correlated with creativity. Result of partial test of self-efficacy t = 4,534, p = 0,000 (p 0,05). Self-efficacy partially was significantly positive correlated with creativity. The findings are disscussed in terms of their implications for mid adolescent context. Abstract

Abstract Relationship of democratic parenting, creativity and Advertsity Quotient examined on 101 boys and 131 girls, 13 to 16 years of ages, and living with biologic parents. Data obtained from to scales of C.O.R.E, CO2RE and P and analyzed with regression. Democratic parenting are highly significant predict creativity; Democratc parenting are highly significant predict Adversity Quotient total scores; No relationship between democratic parenting with sub scales of Control and Endurance; Positive relationship and significant between democratic discussed in term of their implications for middle adolescent in context. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between coping strategy with delinquency in the orpanage of Arrahmah Kediri . This research is done in the early adolescents who live in orphanages Arrahmah-kediri with the number of subjects of research as much as 60 teenagers. Results of research indicate that the coping strategy has a negative relationship with juvenile delinquency. Coping strategy in the early adolescents in the orphanage has a relationship with juvenile delinquency. Relations the coping strategy with juvenile delinquency is not significant. Abstract

Abstract Emotionol maturity, self-concept, and juvenile delinquency examined on 120 middle adolescents. Researcher developed three research instrament of measurement, namely the scale of juvenile delinquency, the scale of emotional maturity, and the self-concept scale. Data analyzed with the multiple regression. Varians proportion of juvenile delinquency can be explained through the emotional maturity and self-concept. Emotional moturity and self-concept simultaneously predict delinquency in undirectional and linear relationships; Emotional maturity is a psychological capacity that has the potential to allow a decline in juvenile delinquency; Self-concept is a psychological capacity that no potential to allow the reducticn or increase in juvenile delinquency. Juvenile delinquency data not normally distributed and relativety high. Prediction research, findings apply only to groups of adolescents with high delinquency, rates. The findings are discussed in terms of their implications for middle adolescent in context. Key words: maturity of emotion, self-concept, juvenile delinquency

Abstract

Abstract Experimental study examines the moral-themed stories to foster empathy on adolescence. Research subjects 205 early adolescents, 103 adolescents (56 males, 47 females) selected as the experimental group, and 102 (61 male, 41 female) were selected as the control group. Sixteen given moral-themed stories twice a week. Experiments using the One Group Post-test Design. Control is done by banning adolescence on the experimental group discuss, or lend anything to do with the course of the experiment. Reinforcement is done by discussion and question and answer, draw conclusions in the form of wisdom, and benefits in daily life; Any story, story teller lend sheets to adolescence groups of experiments to be read again at home to make it more understandable. After the eighth week end of the experiment, measurements of empathy were taken with the Davis Interpersonal Relativity Index (IRI). Experimental results showed: 1) Empathy fantasy of experimental was higher than the control group; 2) Average of empathy at all aspects no differ between the experimental and the control group; 3) Average of perspective taking empathy on girls was higher than boys; 4) Average on all aspects of empathy did not differ between boys and girls. Themed story can only cultivate the moral character of fantasy empathy. Moral themed stories will make adolescent lost in fictional stories and imagine themselves in the same situation as fictional characters. The findings are discussed in terms of their implications for early adolescent in context. Key words: Themed Strory Moral, Emphaty, Early Adolescence

Abstract

Abstract The background of this research is the adolescence as internet user. If internet is used to something that have complication with study, it can be opinioned have positive relation with academic achievement, but, if internet is used to something that havent complication with study, it can be opinioned have negative relation with academic achievement. Use of internet is as an information, communication, leisure, financial transaction, and education. This study present data from rapport and survey of 140 students at GIKI 2 elementary high school. The result showed that there was not relationships between use of internet as an information, communication, leisure, financial transaction and education with academic achievement [R=0,246; R2=0,061; F=0,734; p=0,130 (p 0, 05)], this case showed that the result is not significant. It can be concluded that the use of internet cannot be increased or decrease academic achievement. Keywords: use of internet, academic achievement
