Abstract

This researchs puposes are to know the Financial Leverage, Earnings per Share (EPS), Dividend per Share (DPS), stock price, and the level of influence Financial Leverage, Earnings per Share (EPS) and Dividend per Share (DPS) partially or simultaneously to the stock price. Research methods used are descriptive and verificative. Methods of analysis used are multiple linear regression, correlation, and coefficient of determination. Simultaneous hypothese is tested through F test and partial hypotheses are tested through t test. Annual data are obtained from the Indonesian Stock Exchange.Financial leverage trend is decreasing, while EPS, DPS, and stock price trends are increasing. Financial Leverage, Earnings per Share (EPS) and Dividend per Share (DPS) simultaneously have influence on stock price in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange amounted to 75.17% in 2006-2008. Financial Leverage partially did not affect stock prices significantly, while Earnings per Share (EPS) has positive effect and significant with determination coefficient of 54.4%, and Dividend per Share (DPS) 20.7%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the change of economic structure; development imbalances resulting from the proportional imbalance in GDRP per capita, Human Development Index and Infrastructure Expenditure Ratio; form of relationship development and inequality of economic growth and to provide policy recommendations. The analysis is using Williamson Index, Gini Ratio, Shift-Share, Klassen Typhology and Regression of Unbalanced Panel. The results showed that although growth was lower than the non-agriculture but agriculture is still dominant in the economic structure. Potentially sector and the greatest economic growth occurs in regions of secondary and tertiary sector that have occurred indicate a shift in economic structure in the Province of Gorontalo during the period 2001-2008. Pohuwato Regency and Gorontalo Municipality has a competitive economic, including in Quadrant I on matrix typology Klassen (high growth and high income), while Boalemo, Gorontalo Regency and Bone Bolango in the Quadrant III (low growth and low income). Simultaneously and partial, the difference of all independent variable are significant as the main source of inequality.

Abstract

work in foreign venture company located in Purbalingga, Central Java. Despite of it, this research also has the aims to know the motivation, work productivity and woman workforce revenue contribution to their family income. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Their family poor economic condition is the matter that motivates most of them to work. Their work productivity is affected by their working status in the company and also the time that they spent to work everyday. This woman workforce mostly can give revenue contribution from 50% until 100% to their family income. From this research results we can conclude that there have been a displacement role from woman workforce in Purbalingga, Central Java (especially that work in foreign venture company). Now, they not just became a household wife but they working to support their family income. Even most of them have become their family main income source (family economic backbone).

Abstract

Financial reporting play a mayor role in fulfilling government’s duty to be publicly accountable in a democratic society. Government accounting shall be performed according to generally accepted accounting practice. The purpose of this study are to analyze the influence of implementation good governance, accounting standards of government to financial accountability. The research method used were desciptive and verificativ. Analysis method used the multiple regression with the primary data. The data collected from survei toward the head of SKPD in Kabupaten Sukamara, Central Kalimantan. The results of study show that implementation good governance have not significant influence the financial accountability; implementation accounting standards of government significantly influence the financial accountability.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain the empirical evidence on (1) Infrastructure condition of the road, education, health, and electricity in West Java, (2) the influence Infrastructure condition of the road, education, health, and electricity, labour and government expenditure to West Java’s province economic growth.This study is characterized by descriptive as well as verificative research of which the study aims at giving picture and finding verification or reviewing and testing the existence of empirical theory of variables relationship which are formulated in the economic growth model. Model of data analysis used in this research to identify relationships between variables is Pooled Data Analyses. The research uses regression to measure fixed effect compassing of 22 cities and regencies in West Java.The research indicate that (1) The infrastructure condition of the road, education, and health are getting worst, nevertheless the electricity infrastructur is better than before in West Java, (2) Electricity infrastructure, labour and development expenditure have positive and significant influence on the economic growth. It means if the previous three variables increase, then economic growth will augment as well and vice versa. Road and education infrastructures have positive influence but not have significant on the economic growth. On the other hand, health infrastructure has negative correlation and not have significant influence on the economic growth.

Abstract

Maluku is a province that comprised 92 percent of the ocean so rich in marine resources and fisheries. In this study focuses on the analysis of fishery exports and macro variables in the region. The dependent variable was the fisheries exports (Y), while the independent variable is the target of observation is the investment variable (X1), the inflation variable (X2), the exchange rate variable (X3) and variable of labor (X4). Data used in this study originated from the BPS, BI and the Department of Marine and Fisheries Maluku Province. The method used in this study is EG-ECM (Engle Granger - Error Correction Model). Results showed that in the short term and long-term inflation variable has a significant and negative relation with fisheries export, exchange rate variable have a significant and positive relation with fisheries export. Labor has a significant in the long term while no effect on short-term fisheries export. Investment variable in both the long-term and short term is not significant in influencing the fisheries exports. ECT is a significant value indicates that the model used in this study is valid.

Abstract

The aim of is this research is to analize the influence of market orientation, marketing strategy, and positional advantage on university performance, partially and simultaneously. Population of this research is the Private Universities (PTS), and the unit of analysis is the PTS in Kopertis IV. The number of samples taken from 470 PTS in the Kopertis IV; 45 universities, 4 institutes, 237 colleges, 153 academies and 31 polytechnics. Sampling conducted by stratified random sampling technique. Analyzed the influence of the model using structural equation models (SEM). The results of this research has relevance in explaining conformity between variables. The results indicate that market orientation, marketing strategy, positional advantage, and university performance in the moderate category. Market orientation and marketing strategy, has a significant relationship. Market orientation and marketing strategies simultaneously influential and partial of positional advantage, which influence the marketing strategy is more dominant. Market orientation, marketing strategy, and positional advantage have simultaneously influence on university performance, in which partially it was more determined by positional advantage.
