Abstract

Stunting sebagai masalah gizi yang dapat menurunkan kualitas hidup anak nantinya. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang berhubungan dengan stunting, termasuk pengetahuan ibu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan pola asuh pemberian makan pada balita dengan kejadian stunting di Desa Ilotidea Kecamatan Tilango Kabupaten Gorontalo. Metode penelitian menggunakan cross sectional study. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji chi-square dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan CI 95%. Sampel sebanyak 33 balita yang diambil menggunakan random sampling. Hasil Penelitian yaitu pengetahuan pola asuh pemberian makan pada balita berpengaruh terhadap kejadian stunting (p-value=0,006). Kesimpulan pengetahuan mengenai pemberian makan pada balita berkontribusi terhadap praktek pemberian makan. Oleh karenanya, diperlukan usaha peningkatan akses informasi mengenai pemberian makan yang tepat pada balita.

Abstract

According to FAO (2006), street food is food and beverages prepared or sold by street vendors on the streets and in public places which are directly consumed without further processing or preparation (Warlenda and Desnovianti, 2018). Some tests say that most of the snacks are not in accordance with food safety quality standards. In general, snacks in the canteen and food vendors around the school environment contain flavors or other additives that are not good if consumed too often and contain dust or other microbes. There needs to be an attitude in choosing snacks for elementary school students so that students are more selective about the snacks they will consume and train critical thinking skills in elementary school students. The purpose of writing this study is to determine the determinant factors associated with the selection of snacks in elementary school students. The method used in this research is library search. The results showed that the determinant factors for choosing snacks were the characteristics of snacks, food familiarity factors, environmental factors, and economic factors related to the provision of pocket money to elementary school students. Abstract

ABSTRACT Children are the nation investment, because they are the nation’s next generation. The optimal growth and development of school-age children depends on the provision of good and correct quality and quantity of nutrition. Insufficient intake of children is caused by lack of energy and protein that is not in accordance with the needs in the long term. This study aims to determine the level of preference for tilapia meatball processed products as healthy snack for children at Toulimembet State Elementary School. This type of research uses an experimental method with an organoleptic test research design in which researchers measure the level of preference for processed products of tilapia meatballs. Approved by the Health Research Ethics Commission of the Health Ministry of Health Manado No. 01/04/110/2021. The results of the level of preference for the color, taste, texture and scent of the tilapia meatball product. 2 times of testing there were many who chose to like the color test with a percentage of 69,8%, in the taste test many chose to like it with a percentage of 62,8% for the texture test. Many chose to like it with a percentage of 53,5% and for the scent test, many chose to like it with a percentage of 65,1%. The conclusion of the panelist school children’s preference for taste was that they chose very much like the processed product of tilapia Meatballs, which was 32,6% and color 69,8%. While the texture of processe products of tilapia meatballs a is preferred by 53,5%, as well as the aroma of processed products of tilapia meatballs, which is 69,8%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Stunting describes chronic undernutrition status during growth and development since early life. This study was to determine the effect of nutrition counseling with leaflet media on the knowledge and actions of stunting mothers in the Kahu Health Center, Kahu District, Bone Regency with a quasi-experimental research method with One Group Pre-Post Test design. The population in this study was 314 mothers with a total sample of 49 mothers of children who are stunted and use the total sample method for mothers who have stunting. The types of data collected in this study include primary data and secondary data to see the effect of nutrition counseling using leaflet media on the knowledge and actions of stunting mothers in the Kahu Health Center Work Area, Kahu District, Bone Regency. The results of statistical tests for the knowledge value of respondents obtained p = 0.000 <0.05, which means Ha is accepted and shows the influence of counseling about diet on the knowledge of mothers of children with stunting in the working area of ​​the Kahu Health Center, Kahu District, Bone Regency. obtained p = 0.000 <0.05, which means Ha is accepted and shows the influence of counseling about diet on the actions of mothers of children with stunting in the working area of ​​the Kahu Health Center, Kahu District, Bone Regency. Abstract

Background: Wasting is weight loss towards height so that child’s body becomes disporpotionate (low weight for height). According to data from the 2017 Basic Health Research (Riskesdas), it shows that in Indonesia the wasting prevalence is 7.8%. cause of the hight prevelance, prevention effort is still needed such as give an additional food for the children. Sweet Potato (Ipomea Batatas L.) is a type of tubers of energy sources for the body, and while soybean tempeh is a source of protein that is easily digestible by the body. Then the food can be used as modification of feeding additional food in children. Methods: Quasi experimental research aims to determine effect of PMT yellow sweet potato and soybean tempeh biscuits on children’s weight change at elementary school number 7 Tanjung Raja. This research conducted for 30 days. Research sample are 70 wasting students. The data was collected using microtoice, digital scales, and recall form 1x24 hours. This data was analyzed using univariat and bivariate analysis. Results: The results refered that the majority of respondents were famale (58%), in age range 7-12 years. From the statistical test result, the avarange of weight treatment group was 23,60 kg to 23,98 kg with p value = 0,00, while the comparison group was 23,73 kg to 23,88 with p value = 0,000. The deviation weigh change in treatment group was 0,38 kg, while the comparison group was 0,14 kg. Conclusion: The conclusion of this research is PMT yellow sweet potato and soybean tempeh biscuits application take an effect into wasting children in elementary school number 7 Tanjung Raja.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children under five (babies under five years old) as a result of chronic malnutrition so that the child is too short for his age. Malnutrition occurs since the baby is in the womb and in the early period after the baby is born however, the condition of stunting only appears after the baby is 2 years old. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of chronic energy deficiency in pregnant women, exclusive breastfeeding, and infectious diseases (diarrhea) with the incidence of stunting in infants 24-60 months in the Gogagoman Health Center. This type of research is an observational analytic study using a restropective cohort design. This study describes the relationship of chronic energy deficiency in pregnant women, exclusive breastfeeding, and infectious diseases (diarrhea) to the incidence of stunting in infants 24-60 months in the Gogagoman Health Center. This research was conducted in the working area of Gogagoman Health Center, Kotamobagu Barat, Kotamobagu City on January 23 - February 8, The sampling method was consecutive sampling with a total sample of 40 people. The results of the study using the Fisher's Exact Test showed that, there was no relationship of chronic energy deficiency (CED) in pregnant women with the incidence of stunting in infants 24-60 months in the Gogagoman Health Center obtained p value = 0.523. For exclusive breastfeeding, there is no relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting in infants 24-60 months in the Gogagoman Health Center, p = 0.454. For infectious diseases (diarrhea) that there is no relationship between infectious diseases (diarrhea) with the incidence of stunting in infants 24-60 months in Gogagoman Health Center with p = 0.477. The conclusion is that there is no correlation between chronic lack of energy in pregnant women, exclusive breastfeeding, and infectious diseases (diarrhea) with the incidence of stunting in children 24-60 months in the Gogagoman Health Center. ABSTRAK Stunting adalah kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak balita (bayi di bawah lima tahun) akibat dari kekurangan gizi kronis sehingga anak terlalu pendek untuk usianya. Kekurangan gizi terjadi sejak bayi dalam kandungan dan pada masa awal setelah bayi lahir akan tetapi, kondisi stunting baru nampak setelah bayi berusia 2 tahun. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan kurang energi kronik pada ibu hamil, pemberian ASI Ekslusif, dan penyakit infeksi (diare) dengan kejadian stunting pada balita 24-60 bulan di Puskesmas Gogagoman. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian observasional analitik dengan menggunakan desain kohort restropektif. Penelitian ini mendekripsikan hubungan kurang energi kronik pada ibu hamil, pemberian ASI Ekslusif, dan penyakit infeksi (diare) terhadap kejadian stunting pada balita 24-60 bulan di Puskesmas Gogagoman. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Gogagoman, Kotamobagu Barat, Kota Kotamobagu tanggal 23 Januari – 08 Februari 2019. Metode pengambilan sampel yaitu consecutive sampling yang dengan jumlah sampel yaitu 40 orang. Hasil penelitian menggunakan uji Fisher’s Exact Test menunjukkan bahwa, tidak ada hubungan kurang energi kronik (KEK) pada ibu hamil dengan kejadian stunting pada balita 24-60 bulan di Puskesmas Gogagoman diperoleh nilai p=0.523. Untuk pemberian ASI Eksklusif, tidak ada hubungan pemberian ASI eksklusif dengan kejadian stunting pada balita 24-60 bulan di Puskesmas Gogagoman nilai p=0.454. Untuk penyakit infeksi (diare) bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara penyakit infeksi (diare) dengan kejadian stunting pada balita 24-60 bulan di Puskesmas Gogagoman dengan p=0.477. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan kurang energi kronik pada ibu hamil, pemberian ASI Ekslusif, dan penyakit infeksi (diare) dengan kejadian stunting pada balita 24-60 bulan di Puskesmas Gogagoman. Abstract

ABSTRACT Obesity has become a global epidemic and is a health problem that must be addressed immediately. The current lifestyle of teenagers who often skip breakfast and prefer to consume fast food. The prevalence of obesity in children and adolescents has increased dramatically over the past two decades, especially in big cities. High energy and fat intake might contribute to obesity. This study aims to determine the relationship of nutritional intake with the incidence of obesity in adolescents at Brother Don Bosco Manado High School. This type of research is a correlational study with a cross sectional study approach. This study analyzes the relationship between nutrient intake and the incidence of obesity in adolescents at Brother Don Bosco Manado High School. This research was carried out in July 2019 at Brother Don Bosco High School in Manado. The research variable is the independent variable which is nutrition intake and the dependent variable is the incidence of obesity. The statistical test used was non-parametric, that is the Chi Square test. The results showed that the probability value of energy nutrition intake for the incidence of obesity is p = 0,000 <0.05, carbohydrate intake for the incidence of obesity p = 0,000 <0.05, protein intake for obesity incidence p = 0.001 <0.05 and fat intake for incidence of obesity p = 0,000 <0.05. The conclusion obtained is that there is a significant relationship between nutrient intake (energy, carbohydrate, protein and fat) with the incidence of obesity in adolescents in Brother Bos Bosco High School Manado, Keywords: Nutrition Intake, Obesity Events, Adolescent Children. ABSTRAK Obesitas telah menjadi suatu epidemik global dan merupakan masalah kesehatan yang harus segera ditangani. Gaya hidup remaja saat ini yang sering melewatkan sarapan dan lebih suka mengkonsumsi fast food. Prevalensi obesitas pada anak-anak dan remaja telah meningkat sangat drastis selama dua decade terakhir, terutama di kota-kota besar. Asupan energi dan lemak yang tinggi mungkin berkontribusi pada obesitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan nutrisi dengan kejadian obesitas anak remaja di SMA Frater Don Bosco Manado. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Penelitian ini menganalisa tentang hubungan antara asupan nutrisi dengan kejadian obesitas anak remaja di SMA Frater Don Bosco Manado. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2019 di SMA Frater Don Bosco Manado. Variabel penelitian adalah variabel bebas yaitu asupan nutrisi dan variabel terikat kejadian obesitas. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah non parametrik yakni uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai probabilitas asupan nutrisi energi terhadap kejadian obesitas yaitu p = 0,000 < 0,05, asupan karbohidrat terhadap kejadian obesitas p = 0,000 < 0,05, asupan protein terhadap kejadian obesitas p = 0,001 < 0,05 dan asupan lemak terhadap kejadian obesitas p = 0,000 < 0,05. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan nutrisi (energi, karbohidrat, protein dan lemak) dengan kejadian obesitas pada anak remaja di SMA Frater Don Bosco Manado, Kata kunci : Asupan Nutrisi, Kejadian Obesitas, Anak Remaja.

Abstract

Nutritional status is a meansure of success in fulfilling nutrition for children as indicated by weight and height, the nutritional problems that most often occur inadolescents are lack of nutritional intake and excess nutritional intake that can lead to obesity. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of fast food intake, phsycal activity and screen time on nutritional status of students at Hang Tuah 2 Junior High School, South Jakarta. This research was conducted at Hang Tuah 2 Junior High School, South Jakarta for 2 weeks in a row. This research is descriptive with a cross sectional approach. Sampling was done by using a simple random sampling method and the number of samples was 70 people. The results of this study showed that stundents with obese nutritional status (22.8%) and overweigth nutritional (57.2%) were found to be more than students with normal nutritional status (20%). Based on the intake of fast food, students have more frequent consumption of fast food, which is 74.3% of students. Based on phsycal activity, most of the students did physical activity which was classified into the light activity category (85.7%). Based on the duration of screen time, students who have overweight and obese nutritional status are more likely to have screen time duration always compared to students who have normal nutritional status.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Gout is an arthritis disease caused by abnormal purine metabolism which is characterized by increased levels of uric acid in the blood. The body parts that are often affected by gout arthritis are the joints of the fingers, knees, ankles, and toes. This study aims to determine the administration of soursop juice (Annona muricata Linn) on blood uric acid levels in gout arthritis patients in working area of Kotobangon Public Health Center, East Kotamobagu. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design, pretest and posttest treatment. The study was conducted in the working area of the Kotobangon Public Health Center, East Kotamobagu in January – February 2021. The sample consisted of 33 people. The data collected were the characteristic of the respondents and examination of blood uric acid levels before and after administration of soursop juice. The statistical test used to distinguish blood uric acid levels before and after administration of soursop juice was the Paired Sample T Test. Blood uric acid levels before administration of soursop juice were the lowest 6,0 mg/dL and highest 8,3 mg/dL. Blood uric acid levels after administration of soursop juice were the lowest 3,0 mg/dL and highest 7,3 mg/dL. Decrease in blood uric acid levels by 32 people and an increase in blood uric acid levels by 1 person. The results of the analysis showed that there were differences in blood blood uric acid levels in patients with gout arthritis before and after administration of soursop juice and the average decrease in blood uric acid levels was 2,77 mg/dL. The Paired Sample T Test was carried out with p value = 0,000, because p = <0,05, then Ha was accepted. Bagian tubuh yang sering terserang gout arthritis adalah sendi jari tangan, lutut, pergelangan kaki, dan jari kaki. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemberian jus sirsak (Annona muricata Linn) terhadap kadar asam urat darah pada pasien gout arthritis di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kotobangon Kotamobagu Timur. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu, pretest dan posttest treatment. Penelitian dilakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kotobangon Kotamobagu Timur pada bulan Januari – Februari 2021. Sampel ada 33 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah karakteristik responden dan pemeriksaan kadar asam urat darah sebelum dan sesudah pemberian jus sirsak. Uji statistik yang digunakan untuk membedakan kadar asam urat darah sebelum dan sesudah pemberian jus sirsak adalah Paired Sample T Test Kadar asam urat darah sebelum pemberian jus sirsak yaitu terendah 6,0 mg/dL dan tertinggi 8,3 mg/dL. Kadar asam urat darah sesudah pemberian jus sirsak yaitu terendah 3,0 mg/dL dan tertinggi 7,3 mg/dL. Penurunan kadar asam urat darah sebanyak 32 orang dan kenaikan kadar asam urat darah sebanyak 1 orang. Hasil analisis ada perbedaan kadar asam urat darah pada pasien gout arthtiris sebelum dan sesudah pemberian jus sirsak dan rata-rata penurunan kadar asam urat darah yaitu 2,77 mg/dL. Dilakukan Paired Sample T Test didapat nilai p = 0,000, karena nilai p = <0,05, maka Ha dapat diterima. Kata Kunci : Gout Arthritis, Kadar Asam Urat Darah, Jus Sirsak

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Sebanyak 77.892 pasien penderita GGK pada tahun 2017 di Indonesia, peningkatan penderita GGK sampai di jumlah tersebut dikarenakan banyak pasien yang belum patuh untuk menjalani serangkaian terapi pengobatannya termasuk juga terapi diet. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan dukungan keluarga terhadap kepatuhan diet pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik dengan hemodialisa. Metode: Desain penelitian ini adalah studi literatur. Metode pengambilan data adalah scooping review dari beberapa jurnal yang memiliki topik pembahasan sama yaitu hubungan dukungan keluarga terhadap pasien GGK dengan hemodialisa. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa hasil pencarian artikel yang diperoleh saat pencarian sumber referensi dari database yang digunakan yaitu google scholar, garuda ristek bin, EBSCOhost dan pubmed. Hasil: Berdasarkan perbandingan uji statistik dari 9 jurnal yang dikaji. Terdapat 5 jurnal yang menyatakan ada hubungan dan 4 jurnal yang menyatakan tidak ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga terhadap kepatuhan diet pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik dengan hemodialisa. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan dukungan keluarga terhadap kepatuhan diet pasien Gagal Ginjal Kronik dengan hemodialisa. Adanya hubungan tersebut dapat mempengaruhi keadaan psikologis pasien menjadi lebih bersemangat dan termotivasi, sehingga kepatuhan diet pasien meningkat.
