Abstract

On the challenges of development for democratization and transparency in the frame- work of regional autonomy, local governments now compete to build a race-e-government in- frastructure. In factual, the main obstacles of the implementation of e-government is on the governance or management structure of the management and Quantity and quality of human resources at government agencies that are very limited. The object of the selected study site is the city of Yogyakarta, Sleman regency government sites and the Government of Bantul district. The formulation of the problem is taken “How Communication Model Management Front Of- fice E-Government as a Public Service Media Site on the regional government of Yogyakarta, Sleman District Government Sites Site and the Government of Bantul Regency? “ Research method used is descriptive research to guide the inductive eksploratori to the results of research that the technical provisions of the respective websites of local governments to become the object of research in managing the front office has to follow some standard that is required in the development of the web as a medium for communication and information. Up toditas informa- tion, especially news on the navigation was done routinely. But still there is a delay of up toditas websites is a sign that there is imbalance between the management of websites each local gov- ernment. Number of links the information of each local government websites have been suffi- cient, meaning that many categories of information provided. The fundamental problem lies in the fact that the government does not provide e-mail links for the user community, if there is acceptance of the feedback is to the manager or administratur websites and not on the officials concerned.

Abstract

Now days, the outdoor advertising has been the effective way to promoted brand, prod- uct, or company. However, it’s could be negative with worst controlled by the government. In fact, Sleman economics importance is bigger than public importance. Economics importance belong to the government and advertising agency and public importance belong to society and target audience. This article tried to focus about economic importance and public importance connected.

Abstract

The result of this research shows that relationship between Tionghoa and Makassar eth- nic stated with the relation in its history, diplomatic, working agreement, and business contact among them. The ethnic of Tionghoa in Makassar sticks to their cultural values such as cel- ebrating of Hari Raya Imlek, using of their own having their friends and relatives live in their ethnical atmosphere. Such social interaction with the people of Makassar goes naturally through education particularly within the government educational institution and business activities. Adaptation of the Chinese with ideology is different. Nevertheless, they try to share the under- standing and appreciation of their respective culture. The identity of China ethnic in Makassar is not yet lost its historical and cultural identities.

Abstract

Human relation is an integral part of an organization or company since all of activities conducted is intented to create organizations or companys positive image before the public. For creating such positive image to the existing role of human relations in the management of infor- mational contens of regional government’s website as media of communications relation with society. Human relations has role as communication fasilitatos i.e legal practisioner behaving as communicator or mediator to create two why or reciprocal communication between the organization or company and its public though online media. The purpose of this reseach was to know the role of human relations of regional Government of Sragen Regency in management of informational content in Regional Government’s website as communications relations with society in Regional Government of Sragen Regency. This reseach used descriptive qualitative reseach method. Technique of data collection was conducted by interview, observation and literal study. The result of this research suggests that human relation of Regional Government of Sragen Regency has role in organisational management in management process of informational contents contained in Regional Government’s website. Human relations strives to fulfill social demand to gain information on all policies, program and activated conducted by government. However, active participations of society is still felt as lack. Communication relations relate between government and society through online media has not been conducted optimally. There is still few amount of society that knows Regional Government’s website. Society only takes the advantages of website merely for gaining information. Thus, human relation keeps maintaining the use of conservative media as medium for conveying information to the cociety.

Abstract

The pornography context previously and up to now still becomes a huge controversion in our society which is complicated to be in the same point of view. Because there are many vari- ables which influence the concept, moreover in determining the way of policy, such as culture and custom. Basically, there should be a tool that control (social control) the behavior in order that it can be responsible, particularly for those kinds of thing in expressing the moral value of sexuality and sensuality. Because there are commonly perspective which are always used to analyze or to discuss teh concept of pornography, they are mart point of view and pornography it self (religion, culture, custom, etc). This research intends to know the teenagers perception related to the pornography depic- tions on the television programmes and also want to know their responses according to the television programmes which contain of pornography. This research is designed particularly for teenager between 16-18 years old and it was researched in three of senior high school in Palu, Central Sulawesi. The sample were collected is stratified random sampling by giving the criteria to make the social class of the whole population. The result shows that the teenagers thought that most of the television programmes such as film (41,8% male and 33,3% female) and “sinetron” (15,4% male and 20,6% female) contain of pornography. Because ther are many erotic scenes like kissing and showing the breast which is not approriate to be showed in public area.

Abstract

Issue of terrorism came to surface in this early twenty first century through a number of acts violence that have killed hundreds and injured thousands of people. At the same time, these events have been dominated the mass media contents. Principally, mass media and issue of terrorism are inseparable. This paper examines the relationship between mass media and terror- ism. It is done through the deconstruction of the concept of terrorism and how terrorism is understood as a communicational process. Further, this paper examines how mass media relates to terrorism.
