Abstract

This research, entitled “Nilai-nilai Gotong-royong Dalam Tari Mbuah Page” (Analisis Semiotika Nilai-nilai Gotong-royong Dalam Tari Mbuah Page pada Acara Adat Merdang-merdemdi Desa Perbesi Kecamatan Tigabinanga Kabupaten Karo Sumatera Utara). This research starts from the assumption that the Mbuah Page dance as one of the traditional arts are not just as a means of entertainment, but loaded with deep values. This dance is one of the traditional dance of the Karo people who are still found in traditional event Merdang-Merdem in Perbesi Village . This dance is used as media to convey the message of values mutual assistance. Mbuah Pagedance describes how villagers conducting a series of activities in the fields, ranging from rice planting until harvest results. This research aimed to identify the symbols used in Mbuah Pagedance on Merdang-merdem ceremony. The research method used in this study is qualitative and interpretative methods of inter- pretation Semiotics of Roland Barthes. Analysis of the data in this study are exploratory descrip- tive explanations to describe and explain a phenomenon. Test the validity of data is a source of triangulation to strengthen the analysis in this research. The results mentioned that Mbuah Page dance used the media to convey the message the values of mutual assistance. The message was built by the symbolism inherent in the dance, among others, whole body movements of dancers, musical accompaniment, traditional clothing and other devices all of which have relationships with one another. It can be concluded from this research process have meanings that explain the noble values of mutual help and Mbuah Pagedance became the media to convey the message to the public about the importance of a spirit of mutual assistance in a life together.

Abstract

Appereance to support confidence into one of public attention both old and young, men and woman. This causes more and more beauty centers that complete in the market. On is Larissa Skin Care & Hair Treatment established in 1984 until now still retain the concept of natural or Back To Nature, although the development Larissa improve the quality of products and services, offset by the use of technologies that are new and modern. The research aims ti identify strategies Larissa Marketing Public Relations Skin Care & Hair Treatment Yogyakarta in maintaining and improving the image of Back to Nature. Framework of thought reffered to the Marketing and Public Relations to obtain a positive image in society. Marketing Public Relations Strategy is used innovation strategy, Driving Market Strategies, Electronic PR (E-PR), anf Media Relations. In addition Larissa also use various promotional tools that can support the the acitivities of Marketing and Public Relations for the intended message can be up to the public. Influence of advertising, collaboration, word of mouth promotion, and Public Relations Marketing activities through programs and mass media helps in improving the image of Back To Nature Larissa. Larissa is currently still the only center of the concept of natural beauty this become a major force for competition in the field or beauty. The results showed that the strategy of Public Relations Marketing Larissa Skin Care and Hair Treatment Yogyakarta able to main- tain and improve the image of Back To Nature.

Abstract

This research to aim for knowing the representation symbol’s of children abuse on the Ekskul movie, and than for knowing the ideology’s meaning what was gived from this movie. Kind of this research is a qualitative interpretive research by using the analysis of semiotic method. The analysis of semiotic method is a research method to learn the questions of sign, until the sign give the means of something. This research used the analysis semiotic by Roland Barhes. The point of Barthes theory is order of signification. Barthes devide by two order of signification, denotation meaning and contation meaning. The file analysis is a explain descriptive of explora- tive aspect to represent and explain the phenomenon. The test of file validitation using source triangulation by interview the trusted informan, to confirm the analysis in this research. Founded from research result and by explained the all indicator below, finded the repre- sentation of Ekskul movie bring the ideology’s meaning from his producer, that is the message against of violent. Ekskul movie try to be aware us that’s the children abuse is exist and still going in our social life. Conscious it or not, like it or not, thats stil doing by the parents, teachers or the friends. Representation the symbol’s of violent is variation. That’s like striking stroke, ill-treatment, dressing-down, discrimination, let a way, and sexual violent.

Abstract

Developing business for real-estate is a very big business for future because this is about aspect of most people need in live. This reality inspired me to make a further research about real estate developer. The matters that this research about to raise is how PT. Roda Pembangunan Jaya attempt their strategic of marketing communications to achieve their company goal in selling unit of their real estate. The goal of this research is to knowing strategic of segmenting, targeting, positioning and form of the marketing style of PT. Roda Pembangunan Jaya in order to sell their unit in Taman Palagan Asri Real Estate. This research using method of qualitative description which is the researcher is trying to explained strategic of marketing communications of PT. Roda Pembangunan Jaya in case of selling Taman Palagan Asri Real Estate. The writer collecting data by doing an interview with the Marketing Manager of PT. Roda Pembangunan Jaya and according to PT. Roda Pembangunan Jaya record file. The analyze technique theory is using theory from Miles and Huberman which is about some essay and descriptive explanation. From the result of research we can know that PT. Roda Pembangunan Jaya taking seg- ment of consumer target from middle to high level of class according to housing positioning of Taman Palagan Asri Real Estate, that is housing for middle to high level class. The implementa- tion of positioning strategic to housing of Taman Palagan Asri conduct with three approaching such as positioning according to attribute, price and competitor. Advertising, personal selling and sales promotion is using to promote where advertising through billboard media is the most effective form of marketing communication. But there is some barriers to be face when implement marketing communication such as circumstances of global economic that not conducive but overall marketing communication that had been done running well.

Respect of customer relations to build stood in with customers. Utilizes organizational communication study to see the importance for function public relations in an organization. It is prime key in Cakra Kusuma Yogyakarta’s Hotel success program in to fulfill customer satisfaction. Abstract

Balong settlement at Surakarta is a portrait unique of settlement because there are Javanese and generation of China. They was could harmonies live and when racial unrest gen- eration of China at Surakarta, it settlement not touched by protester. Difference culture not problem but it applied color live them in settlement. Not reason for know each one to other. Intercultural communication in settlement live of society here as focus observation. Informant succeed dept interview as many as eight, four ethnic generation China and four Javanese. Intercultural communication composed dynamic communication between China and Java eth- nic. They used Javanese as language everyday, difference shake hands between man and women, difference flag or symbol when overtaken by death could understood between ethnic China and Javanese ethnic. China claim to be there’s cultural succeeded in uniting with java cultural. Social interaction China and Javanese looked in kinds of social activity like social gathering, fasting open together, village patrol, independent day celebration, and voluntary labor service, etc. Social activity is interaction social medium people in Balong settlement. When racial unrest of China at Surakarta fifth, Balong settlement safe in this town. There are tolerance very nice, care and familiar among people in village very nice, it communication generation China and Javanese effective.

Abstract

On the challenges of development for democratization and transparency in the frame- work of regional autonomy, local governments now compete to build a race-e-government infrastructure. In factual, the main obstacles of the implementation of e-government is on the governance or management structure of the management and quantity and quality of human resources at government agencies that are very limited. The object of the selected study site is The City of Yogyakarta and The Sleman regency government. The formulation of the problem is taken “How E-Government Communication and Adminitrations Management Back Office Models as a Public Service Studies on the regional government of Yogyakarta and Sleman District Government Sites? “ Research method used was descriptive research to guide the inductive eksploratory to the results of research that the technical provisions of the respective websites of local governments to become the object of research in managing the front office has to follow some standard that is required in the development of the web as a medium for communication and information. Information uptodating, especially news on the navigation was done routinely. But still there is a delay of uptodating websites is a sign that there is imbalance between the management of websites each local government. Number of links the information of each local government websites have been sufficient, meaning that many categories of information provided. The fundamental problem lies in the fact that the government does not provide e-mail links for the user community, if there is acceptance of the feedback is to the manager or administrator websites and not on the officials concerned.

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is new feature of strongly ethical, humaneness and fully responsible of word business upon its surrounding society. Principally, a company will be unable to growth in the middle hardship environment. Community Development is one of CSR implementation in continual development that encompasses society empowerment. PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesian Tbk. is one company that implicates Community Development through Partnership Program and Environment Establish (PKBL). This program was performed by each Kandatel and PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesian Tbk., as one. This research is proposed to analyze the implementation of Community Development by PT. Telcom Kandatel Yogyakarta to em- power UKM through Partnership Program, to identify the obstacles when performing program, and to identify its advantages for company and program target goal. This research is descriptive research with subjecting on PT. Telcom Kandatel Yogyakarta. Data type that being used are both primary and secondary data. Several techniques that being used to gather data include depth interview, observation and literature study. Data-research and method triangulations were used to extend research validity. Data was analyzed by data reduc- tion, data presentation and conclusion drawn or verification thus research conclusion can be obtained. One of Community Development activities that performed by PT. Telcom Kandatel Yogyakarta is Partnership Program. Partnership Program is program that intended to develop moderate and small business (UKM) activity thus they able to independent. This program had been confirmed by BUMN minister Regulation therefore its procedure and mechanism already determined. During its implementation, three stages that token by PT. Telcom Kandatel Yogyakarta were planning, implementation and evaluation. The successful of Partnership Program cannot directly see from financial that had been given, however, it is can be observed through program continuality. Socialization is one main factor to communicate program existence hence its implementation broadly shared. Partnership Community has high advantage not merely for company but also for Partner Founded. Good image and reputation become main factor in company business live, mean while, Partner Founded has opportunity to develop its business through financial loan and no longer impeded by capital matter.

Abstract

Trafficking is slavery activity of including in human being commerce, one of the typical modus which during the time trend in Kalbar, that is “order bride”. The brokers look for the beautiful women in Singkawang Town, especially amoy-amoy to be married with the foreign citizen men, Taiwan, Hongkong, and Singapore. Amount of informan is five people. Research method used by descriptive qualitative, this method giving description and communications analyse between individual in relation between perpetrator of order bride with the brokers/ middleman. Accumulation data technique used by Observation, Interview, and reference study technique for the perception, obtaining information, and collect the data, adding data, support- ing data from other sources. The results of this research indicated that pattern of interpersonal communications in relation of order brige with the brokers/middleman done by approach every order bridge started with the introduction, continued with the dating, dating intensity, and com- munications of one-way, two-way, feedback, and persuasive. All this represent the important matter in making and looking after good cooperation or relation.
