Abstract

Filler is component of pavement construction. The little prosentase of filler in the mixture has bigeffect in characters marshall also be mixture performance towards traffic load. The pavementconstruction in this research is asphalt concrete - wearing course (ac-wc), by using vulcanic ashand stone ash as filler in refusal density. In asphalt optimum content that is 6,00 % to filler ofstone ash and 5,9 % to filler of vulcanic ash, in refusal density test 2x400 collision, fulfil spesifica-tion and both types of collision be correlate of marshall parameter with longly soaking 0, 1, 2,and 3 days. The result that got after soaking, pavement structural with filler of vulcanic ash hasstability 1084,307 kg and flow 3,55 mm, while a with filler of stone ash has stability 1077,842 kgand flow 3,6 mm. Test of durability that mixture with filler of vulcanic ash has value better from instone ash, the Retained stability index of mixture with filler of vulcanic ash has prosentase99,08262 %, while in filler of stone ash 98,84916 %.

Abstract

The transportation of goods between Sumatra and Java using the highway mode that accumulatewith local transportation will greatly burden roads in Lampung province. This research was con -ducted to predict the pattern and amount of movement of goods in the future. The modelling isconducted for the plan period up to 20 years based on growth predictions of geographical, social,economic and traffic flow. This study conducted a process of Sequential Demand Model (PlanningModel 4 stages) by using software Transplan Version 8.Transportation patterns in 2030 is predicted will be dominated by continuous trips withdomination of movement from Java to South Sumatra, or otherwise. Both the transportationbetween internal zones and external zone to internal zone have a significant increase. The moststrategic main line freight in Lampung for today and in the future is along the Bakauheni-SouthSumatra and Bengkulu-South Sumatra both through toll roads, national roads, and railways.

Abstract

Flooding is a natural occurrence that needs to be learned/character of its characteristics so as notto harm the community that exists around the River as well as the social and economic impact, es-pecially in communities around the River Way Kemiling and the Way Pemanggilan. The researchaimed to find out how large the impact of floods in terms of technical, as well as the social andeconomic society along the Way Kemiling and Way Pemanggilan who never had flooded. Re-search conducted since July to September 2012, with methods of field survey and fill out the ques-tionnaire directly to residents affected by flooding. Then conducted the calculation of flood dis-charge (Q) one-year anniversary of when the plans and capacity of the river channel. From theresults of the calculations predicted losses due to floods residents were more or less on averagefor each home is 5,82 million rupiah (this number is based on the origin's home around the site offlooding), this does not include the House's other residents. Debit calculation results shows thatexisting channels that exist have 12,52 capacity m 3/second, while the estimated discharge wouldhappen (annual discharge) reached 19,06 m3/second. So the existing channels will not be able tohold the excess water, let alone five annual floods.

Abstract

Trans bus bandar lampung as urban mass transit plays an important role for the government ofbandar lampung in addressing the problem of traffic congestion and heavy traffic at the rushhour. Trans bus existence bandar lampung also very helpful community of bandar lampung espe-cially for students, college students, employees and the general public in carrying out activities ofdaily activities by providing transportation that can provide a sense of security, comfortable, eco -nomical as well as save time. Trans bus operations simulation lampung on jalan teuku umar per-formed with some of the first scenario is the implementation of special BRT corridor and the sec-ond with the imposition of special BRT corridor by eliminating microbus / public transportation.Furthermore also seen the advantages and disadvantages of implementing BRT in full or partially.From the analysis of the two scenarios above simulation, we got the result that the applicationscenarios specifically BRT corridor by eliminating microbus / public transportation increases thelevel of service to the tanjung karang - rajabasa from D to C and to route rajabasa - tanjungkarang from E to D. Further analysis of the study is needed to determine the effectiveness of thisscenario if applied in these other BRT routes in order to attract both local and non-local investorsto invest in this mass transportation.

Abstract

The road infrastructure has a significant influence on the development facilities of the city as acenter of a new generation. Bandar Lampung as the capital of Lampung province was not im -mune to these problems. Development of a very dynamic with a diverse urban population, trig-gered over the land due to the complexity of the construction of roads that will lead to many nega-tive issues in the future. Problem caused by the increasing development of road infrastructure inand on the outskirts of the city, will increase the rate of population growth to the high impact ofurban land usage that is not in line with the regional spatial plan. To suppress the effect of infra-structure development on land conversion, required policy analysis tool. The making of policysimulation modeling of land usage on the development of road infrastructure using dynamic sys-tem modeling. The models created using causality approach (causal loop), starting from the basicmodeling that is a mapping of the real system of urban land usage which is then converted into 4model. Model of transportation, demography, population and land usage activities, which are as-sociated with a causal relationship. The models will be aided by the GIS as spatial data analysisinput, the models simulate some policy scenarios. The most optimal scenario results to reducingthe rate of population growth, reduce the level of unemployment, increased GDP, and control thepattern of land usage. By performing simulations using these scenarios, all the desired purposecan be met and brought a good impact on the growth of Bandar Lampung city.

Abstract

Soekarno – Hatta road is the nationally arterial road as stated in The Regulation of Minister ofPublic Works No. 630/KPTS/M/2009 and No. 631/KPTS/M/2009 on December 31 st, 2009 aboutthe status and function of non-toll state road. The width of the road is 7.00M, as a gate of trafficfrom and to Lampung Province with heavy and fast traffic characteristic. In 2005 the Governmentof Lampung Province had proposed the development of toll road as an alternative to prevent thetraffic jam on Sukarno – Hatta road. So based on this analysis, the researcher assumes that thedevelopment of toll road in Lampung Province is necessary to be built soon.Based on the calculation using degree of saturation toward Soekarno – Hatta road these days, fig-ured out that value of VCR=0.99 with the level of service (LOS) E and travel time value = 48 – 55minutes (before the extension), meanwhile after extension the value of VCR = 0.40 with LOS Aand travel time score = 20 minutes. The result of calculation was projected by using degree of sat-uration after the extension of Soekarno – Hatta road which would declined in 2024 (12 years pe -riod) with VCR value from 0.40 to 0.84 and LOS C to D. So, the researcher predicts that a longertraffic jam in 2024 would be inevitable. That is the reason why we need to make more efforts tosolve the problem, which one of them is by developing toll road of Babatan – Tegineneng.
