Abstract

Muhammad Rasyid bernama Muhammad Rasyid ibn Ali Ridha ibn Muhammad Syamsuddin al-Qalamuni. Dia seorang jurnalis, yang mana banyak tulisan maupun karya yang telah memberikan wawasan intelektual untuk dunia Islam. Yang cukup menarik dari sosok Rasyid Ridha, justru dalam pemikiran teologisnya. Sebab, satu sisi sebagai pengagum dan murid Abduh yang dalam bidang teologi terkenal sangat rasional, melebihi Mu’tazilah justru dalam aspek tertentu pemikirannya lebih condong ke pemikiran “Salaf” / Hanbali. Disisi lain, sebagai penganut faham Hanbali yang terkenal sangat gigih menyerang ulama kalam (teolog) justru Ridha bukan hanya interest terhadap teologi melainkan juga boleh dikata telah berhasil membangun teologi yang memiliki karakter tersendiri.

Abstract

Tazkiyah al-nafs according to language meaning means Soul cleanliness, self cleanlines. Tazkiyah al-nafs is one of methodes in soul develoving and human akhlak education. Epistemologically, tazkiyah al-nafs has two meaning “cleanliness and curative treatment. Termologically, it means soul sanctification from all of disease by using asma Allah to become his akhlak (takhalluq) which at the end tazkiyah means tathahhur, tahaqquq, and takhalluq. The porpuses of the study are: 1. To know the consept of tazkiyah al-nafs and relationship with mental health, 2. To participate in exploring and developing Islamic studies to become mind share in overcoming soul crisis that surge humna lives nowadays.

Abstract

Rethinking of Hasan Hanafi for theological doctrine on Islamic revolutionTheological revolution was initiated by Hasan Hanafi as a new model on Islamic principle doctrine known as “Tauhid”. He explains the principle and causes of losing spirit of Muslim world on tauhid and a dualistic worldview. Dualistic worldview is reflected in the repressive character of those who believe in one power and deny the other side. So, Hasan Hanafi tried to position the unity as a way of looking to overcome the crisis experienced by the Muslims and restore its civilization identity. To grow and return to the spirit of unity to revolution to Hasan Hanafi, the need to reconstruct the understanding of the main doctrines of Islam and in accordance with its development as done its predecessors. Since without doing the reconstruction of tawhid, the unity will remain bound by the normative understanding of the transcendent, only discuss the substance and nature of the gods itself. Thus, reconstruction is done so that unity can come down as human resistance force language other than Allah. But, before doing that task first of all need to trace the historical development of Islamic theology and naming by looking at the themes and discussions on theology. Then, critique it in order to formulate a revolutionary new theology as an offer of an alternative solution to the problem of humanity.

Abstract

This article is talking about transformation process of greece’s philosophy to Islam and the appearance of Islamic philosophy. From relevant references, known that the first way of greece’s philosophy transformation to Islam was through translated grecee’s books into Arabic. The emerge of Islamic philosophy influences several factors. The internal factors are: (a) the internal dynamic of Islamic doctrine, (b) the devation of moslem after “khulafa ar-rasyidah”, (c) the conflict between literist and rationalist. While the external factors are: (a) Non Islamic attack to Islamic doctrine by philosopical arguments, (b) literal science and knowledge mixed with philosophy. Besides the factors, there are some pillars of the existing Islamic philosophy such as: (a) An academic translation was existed as Bait al-Hikmah, (b) An organization of scientist was existed in Baghdad at 970 M, called Aljam’iyyah Alsajastaniyah, (c) the existence of secret organization consists of ulama and philosopher named Ikhwan Alshafa.

Abstract

This paper attempts to explain the reasons for rejection of Russia against the West in solving conflict in Syria. This paper uses a descriptive approach to analysis of Russia’s policy in Syria. Syria is one of the countries in Middle East that is experiencing political turmoil with people demanding President Bashar al-Assad retreated from his position. This conflict has claimed of so many people life that western countries lead to implement the arms and other economic sanctions against Syria but the effort was opposed by Russia through its veto. The balance of power theory tries to explain the refusal of Russia as a form of maintaining power in Middle East, particularly Syria. Russians view the necessary dialogue between the government and the opposition to resolve conflicts rather than international condemnation of Syria.

Abstract

Humans are social beings who will forge interactions with each other, this will lead to language contact, both among internisasi language itself or eksternisasi language different from each other, a language course can lead to conflict, the conflict is not the language that should be blamed because the whole hog can positively impact the birth of the new elements in the language, even just to give birth to new contacts in the language, although on the other hand can cause a negative impact of this language conflicts, can also lead to growth and development and spread of language, it is encouraged because of the social factors culture, religion and politics.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an is verbum dei and miraculous verses that comes from the Creator of human being and the evidence of the Prophet Muhammad mission and no one able to come with the same verses even the brilliant and smart Arabian poets and it’s memorized by a lot of Muslims all over the world. Why, it’s miracle? Language, Al-Qur’an has a specific literary style which is no one can imitate even a brilliant Arabian poet and man of letters, because it has a valuable structure that is different within every Arabic language structures. It uses their language and words, but it’s not a poetry, a prose, and non a poem. Islamic Jurisdictions, Al-Qur’an is a resource of Islamic doctrine and it’s full of jurisdictions which manages the human life relation with the Creator and human beings. Islamic jurisdiction consists of faith, the principal of morals, worship, and charity. And the other side of the miracle of the al-Qur’an is the difficult signals of the science. It’s proven that al-Qur’an is absolutely not crontradicted the recent discovery based on scientific researches.
