Abstract

The issue of  HIV/AIDS is a serious public health problem. AIDS patients are generally dominated by a age group of  adolescent and a productive age. The general pattern of the spread of  infection occur through sexual contact (sexually transmitted diseases = STD). The threat of of  HIV/AIDS epidemics were seen through the data of cases of HIV/AIDS continues to rise. This paper examines and implementation a deterministic mathematical model of a simple SI (susceptible-infected) model to analyze the stability of the HIV/AIDS by age group and population density. The population is divided into two subpopulations, namely subpopulation of juvenile and adults. Subpopulation of adults who are sexually active is assumed produce both susceptible newborns and infected newborns. The local and global stability for the equilibrium point of the model were analyzed using a combination of analysis of eigenvalues of Jacobian matrix and the Lyapunov-LaSalle’s invariant principle or using a threshold values of the susceptible reproduced ratio (), the infected reproduced ratio (), and  the  infection contact rate ( ) .For the case of data of HIV/AIDS in Indonesia with  initial population of 2009, the threshold values of the susceptible reproduction ratio,   the infected reproduction ratio,  and  the infection contact rate,  The model of the HIV/AIDS has a unique disease-free equilibrium point,  The disease-free equilibrium point is globally asymptotically stable, namely if parameter values not change then there no infected individual and subpopulation of juvenile and adults susceptible tend to constant positive value.Key words: HIV/AIDS model, SI model, the reproduction ratio, the equilibrium point,                       Global stability

Abstract

The research on mapping of mangrove distribution and spatial analysis of land suitability for pond aquaculture in coastal area of Gending sub District, Probolinggo are to map the distribution of existing mangrove forests along the coastal area of Gending and to determine the land suitability for aquaculture activities. This research used Landsat satellite imagery as an initial imaging data of the study area. Band manypulation using visual band 3-2-1, 4-3-2 and infrared bands 4-5-3. The use of this band based on their sensitivity in capturing the value of a high reflectance of vegetation. Rupa Bumi Indonesia Map scale 1: 25,000 from Bakorsurtanal used as a correction of satellite imagery. Furthermore, the survey field mapping with a model of participatory mapping done to calibrate the field data and sampling of water quality in the study area.Based on the analysis of satellite image and survey found that mangroves are spread almost evenly along the coastal area of Gending with a high density (visually) and identified along the coordinates of 762720 mT, 9144134 mU and 795851 mT, 9144081 mU. While the aquaculture area identified spread along the coastal with the coordinates 751394 mT, 9138874 mU to 776632 mT, 9147895 mU. Through the spatial analysis of land suitability described that most of the pond in the western part of coastal area is very suitable for aquaculture activities. Abstract

Water was one resource that has a very important function for life and human life. River was the main channel as water flowing from upstream to downstream, has many domestic and industrial activity along the stream. The flow dynamics lead to changes in the quality and quantity of the river significantly. Water quality was maintained by analyzing the quality of the river water. Decision Support System (DSS) was a system designed to simplify the determination of water quality officer in making decisions. Inputs are parameter water quality test that consists of physical parameters and chemical parameters. The process of water quality analysis was conducted using Fuzzy Inference System Tsukamoto method. Fuzzy tsukamoto method used to determine the water quality of the river into four (4) classes which meet quality standards (good condition), lightly polluted, contaminated medium, and heavy polluted. The results of tested scenarios obtained an accuracy rate between the results of the calculation method of Fuzzy Tsukamoto with the calculated water quality STORET method at 90%.

Abstract

Conservation and preservation of the waters environment of needed, in order to protect the flow of river water to downstream areas. Waters often contaminated and carried out the destruction by human activity itself. The threatens of existence of the flow of Kali Mewek. Kali Mewek of the flow needed some special handling related to the preservation river a worth, because of the cluster housing developmented. Activities that need to be done to efforts the preservation and protection is operation and maintenance river a worth; and the conservation, development water allocation, water quality control and ecotourism.

Abstract

Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows (VRPTW) is a combinatorial problem which is used to determine the route of a goods distribution from depots (distribution center) to customers scattered in various points of the site. VRPTW is an extension of the VRP with constraints the limitations on the capacity of goods and every customer have time interval of service [ ] or time windows. In this study, the hybrid genetic algorithm with nearest insertion heuristic is used as one of the search alternative solutions. The implementation for this case, 50% initial solution was generated using nearest insertion heuristic method and 50% rest are generated by randomly. This completion is tested in a set of Solomons problem. The results of this study are compared with the best known solution of Solomon using 2 sets of test data from each data type such as C1, C2, R1, R2, RC1, dan RC2 with 25, 50 and 100 customers. The results show that the implementation of hybrid genetic algorithm and the nearest insertion heuristic gives solutions which is nearly optimal or approaching the best known of Solomon for data type C101, C105, C201, R101, RC101 dan RC102.
