Abstract

This study aims to determine the administrative functions of student data at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) Model Palu. The method used in this study is qualitative approach with informants amounting to 5 people. Data collection technique in this study was done by means of observations, interviews, and documentations. The results show that the administrative functions of student data at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) Model Palu had been in accordance with the management theory propounded by G.R Terry, for implementing the four functions of management, namely planning, organizing, actuating, and monitoring functions. In the management functions implementation as described above, three of them had already been well in accordance with the provisions, namely planning, organizing, and actuating functions. While, the supervisory function had not run maximally, there were some students who did not met the requirements, such as copies of birth certificates, good conduct certificates from the schools of origin, copies of grade reports from the schools of origin, certificates of not having a National Student Identification Number (NISN).

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the comparison of company’s performance before (t-3) and after (t+3) the implementation of Employee Stock Option Program in non-financial companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange within a period of 2008-2011. Companies’ performance is measured by profitability  ratio (ROA), activity ratio (TATO), liquidity ratio (Current Ratio), and solvability ratio (DER). Sample of the research consists of 7 non-financial companies that implemented ESOP, which are selected through purposive sampling technique. Data collected is secondary data based on library research. Technique of data analysis used is statistical descriptive analysis and hypothesis tested by implementing paired sample t-test (test for coupled samples). The hypothesis tested by implementation and percentage of ESOP in each company are different; ESOP is conducted by vesting (provide the right to have options, yet, it is noncompulsory for the employee). Paired sample t-test indicates that profitability ratio (ROA), activity rato (TATO), liquidity ratio (Current Ratio), and Solvability ratio (DER) show no significant difference on the company’s performance before (t-3) and after (t+3) the implementation of ESOP. This means that ESOP has not contributed to companies’ performance advancement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of state assets/goods administration policy at Donggala Research and Development Center Animal-Sourced Diseases Control.  The research method used in this study was qualitative research with informants amounting to 5 (five) people. Informants were selected based on purposive sampling. This study used observation, interview, and documentation research techniques. The four dimensions studied, namely communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure, had not been going well, for the gap between the facts on the ground with the theory used and with the Government Regulation Number 27 of 2014. For the communication aspect, it was seen from the lack of the policy implementors’ understanding towards the goals. For the resources aspect, it was seen from the lack of human resources quality and quantity of the state assets/goods administrators, as well as the lack of supporting resources in the form of training budgetary for the state assets/goods administrators and from the lack of building capacity. For the disposition aspect, it was seen from the lack of a shared commitment to support the state assets/goods administration policy. For bureaucratic structures aspect, it was seen from the absence of a standard operating procedure as the guidance for the state assets/goods administrators in administrating the state assets/goods. Thus, it could be concluded that, based on the research results and discussions, the implementation of state assets/goods administration policy at Donggala Research and Development Center for Animal-Sourced Diseases Control, had not been going well.

Abstract

Learning using Cooperative Learning model of the type Active Debate to train students to think critically through debate. Discussion method to train students interact in solving a problem. This study aimed to determine whether there is a difference increase critical thinking skills of students in classes that implement Cooperative Learning model ot the type of Active Debate and discussion class that implements the method. Sample in this research is class student XI IPS I as an experimental class and class XI IPA III as the control class. Date collection techniques are critical  thinking skills test. Based on research results of students critical thinking skills after study shows that there are differences in students critical thinking abilities experimental class and control class. It can be concluded that the class using  Cooperative Learning model of the type of Active Debate has the ability to think critically is better than the class that uses the mothod of discussion.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance of Palu City’s House of Representatives (DPRD Kota Palu) in legislative drafting. The research method of this study was qualitative research by selecting informants who can provide data in accordance with the needs of this of this study with purposive method. Data collection techniques in this study were: observations, interviews and documentations. Based on the results of the analysis of DPRD Kota Palu in legislative drafting, it can be concluded that it has not gone well, because only one of the 5 aspects used as analyzing tools in this study which went well, that is Responsbillity. The 4 other aspects that have not gone well were Productivity, Quality of Services, Responsivness and Accountability.

Abstract

Coal mining company's performance in the period 2008-2014 is slowing, it is caused by an economic slowdown in China dampen sales performance, coupled with jebloknya selling prices, changes in government regulations such as the ban on exports and higher royalty costs and production control could hurt earnings coal miners. This study aims to determine liquidity ratios, and profitability solvabelitas coal mining company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2014. This research is descriptive research, of the 22 population, drawn five (5) samples. namely PT Adaro Energy Tbk, PT. Bumi Resources Tbk, PT. Bayan Resources Tbk, PT. Indo Tambangraya Tbk, and PT. Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk. Based on the research results can be summarized as follows: a) based on the results of the calculation of the liquidity ratio analysis for 4 years, there are three companies in a liquid condition, namely PT. Indo Tambangraya Tbk, PT. Coal Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam Tbk and PT. Adaro Energy Tbk, while two other companies, namely PT ilikuid conditions. Bumi Resources Tbk and PT. Bayan Resources Tbk., b)based on the results of the calculation solvabelitas ratio analysis, there are two companies in a state solvable, namely PT. Indo Tambangraya Tbk and Coal Bukit Asam Tbk, while 3 other companies, namely PT. Adaro Energy Tbk., PT. Bumi Resources Tbk, and PT. Bayan Resources Tbk. in conditions insolvabel. c) based on the results of the calculation of the main profitability ratio analysis of net profit margin then it can be concluded that PT. Adaro Energy Tbk, PT. Indo Tambangraya Tbk and PT. Bukit Asam coal mining in the condition of a profit in the year 2011-2014, while PT. Bumi Resources Tbk. and PT. Bayan Tbk.dalam a loss in 2013 and 2014.

Abstract

The aims of this research are : 1) to find out and analyze the simultaneous influence  of leadership and career development on employee’s performance at PT. Suzuki Finance Indonesia Palu ; 2) to find out and analyze the influence of leadership on employee’s performance at PT. Suzuki Finance Indonesia Palu ; 3 ) to find out and analyze the influence of  career  development on employee’s  performance at PT Suzuki Finance Indonesia Palu. This research is descriptive that explains the influence of leadership and career development on employee’s  at PT. Suzuki Finance  Indonesia Palu  with 39 respondents who are selected  through purposive sampling  method. The results show that: 1) leadership and career  development simultaneously have significand and positive influence on employee’s performance  at PT Suzuki  Finance Indonesia Palu ; 2 ) leadershif  partially has positive and significant  influence on employee’s  performance at PT.  Suzuki Finance Indonesia Palu ; 3 ) career development partially has positive and significant influence on employee’s  performance at PT.  Suzuki Finance Indonesia Palu.

Abstract

The problem studied was how the legal accountablity of nurses and patients in axercising their rights and satisfying their obligations pursuant to Law Number 8 Year 1999 about Customer Pritection was. The purpose of the  research was to identity and analyze the right and obligations of the Protection. It was a normative juridical research based on Primary Legal Material, Secondary Legal Material and Tertiary Legal Material. It was concluded that the nurses were accountable to observe the  condition of patients, care the patients, dokument the health of patients, maintain the safety of patients, deliver services in accordance with nursing service standards, professional standards, stndards operation procedures, and prevailing law and regulations. The patients must supply with true information, be honest about their health status, follow advices given by doctors and nurses, respect all regulation effective in the health service facilities, pay charges and fees  for health service rendered to them and exercise their right after satisfying their obligtions.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the quality of service in the field of Data and Formation Office of the Regional Employment Board Sigi using qualitative descriptive analysis. The number of informants in this study were as many as five (5) informant. The results showed that of the five indicators of service personnel are on the dimensions of both categories. The results showed that overall the service users at the Office of the Regional Employment Board Sigi states get good service from the concierge / apparatus Office Regional Employment Agency Sigi. In an effort to enhance service quality field services personnel need to make improvements in terms of both infrastructure and personnel resources. In addition to the need to set minimum service standards in the delivery of services to be more effective as well as the need to provide training to officers / personnel as often as possible.

Abstract

In the budget year of 2013-2015, the absorption of local government budgets in Palu City shows accumulation in the past three months. This condition can cause the loss of value for money in the governmental budget (BPKP, 2012). Performance-based budgeting can foster effective programs with an efficient use of funds to achieve the organizational goals (Young, 2003). Performance-based budgeting is designed to increase good governance such as transparency and accountability in making the decisions for resource allocation (Vian, 2013). Accountability will increase the responsibility of public officials in carrying out their duties based on the procedure in order to minimize inefficiency that leads to high cost and slowness of public services (Mardiasmo, 2009). This research applies quantitative approach with sample of 41 governmental units that selected through purposive sampling method. Data is analyzed with SEM-PLS method. The result show that: 1) the implementation of performance-based budgeting has a positive but insignificant influence on value for money performance; 2) performance-based budgeting has a positive and significant influence on good governance; 3) the application of good governance has a positive and significant influence on value for money performance; and 4) the implementation of performance-based budgeting has an indirect influence on value for money performance through good governance.
