Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative study, in which descriptive qualitative research is used to depict or describe a situation is on the level of Quality of Hospital Inpatient Services In Undata. Judging from the number of visits patients, especially inpatients has decreased the number of visits that by 2015 as many as 11 192 visits by an average of 69 people a day visit while in 2014 as many as 14 871 visits with an average of 182 people per day. This study was conducted to determine how the Quality of Inpatient Services at Regional General Hospital Undata. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of Inpatient Services at Regional General Hospital Undata seen from the aspect of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. In conclusion, the study proves that the quality of Inpatient Services at Regional General Hospital Undata turns considered less good, because in general there are still many complaints from patients and the public. The results of this study are expected to be useful in improving the quality of care in hospitals Undata, to suit the patient's expectations and the vision, mission Mission Hospital.

Abstract

Objectives to be achieved in this research is to identify and analyze ethical bureaucracy in Section Legislation in the Legislative Secretariat Sigi. This study refers to the opinion of the Ethics Bernhard Sutor bureaucracy that includes elements of Purpose, Means (modalities), and Action. This type of research in achieving the purposes and objectives of the research are descriptive method qualitative approach. The location of research in the Office of the Secretariat of the Regional Representatives Council Sigi District, and Time study will be conducted over three (3) months. Informants in this study were selected purposively as many as five people. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was performed with data reduction procedures, presentation of data and draw conclusions. The results of this study explains that the Ethics Bureaucracy On the Legislation in the Secretariat of the House of Representatives Sigi, overall not good, this is indicated on the three aspects of ethics used aspects of the objectives and aspects Facility (modalities) has been performing well, the aspect means (modalities) has been utilized properly. While aspects of the action not be in a good condition.

Abstract

This study is to examine the performance of employees at the district office Pinembani Donggala regency. type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data types using primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques, is done through observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation. Taking Informants using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis technique used is Robbins theory consisting of three (3) aspects of motivation, ability and opportunity. Based on the results of research, it is known that the performance of employees at the district office Pinembani yet effective and maximum. The cause is still a lack of motivation from the inside of employees, thus affecting low employee discipline. In addition, other factors that cause so that employees are violating the rules of the organization, in the absence of strict sanctions that are given to employees who do not obey and abide by the rules. While the infrastructure is still very low, while the ability and knowledge of employees in collaborating in providing services to the community, not fully in accordance with the needs of the organization. But the opportunity to participate in training and continuing education to a higher level, always get a response from the leadership.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: (1) Determining and describing the Property Tax Collection Services at Office for Management of Regional Revenue, Finance and Assets of Sigi regency; and (2) Indetifying and describing the obstacle factors in the implementation of property tax collection services at Office for Management of Regional Revenue, Finance and Assets of Sigi regency. This is a descriptive research with qualitative approach gained from in-depth interviews. Location of research is at the Office for Management of Regional Revenue, Finance and Assets of Sigi regency. Informants consist of employees in BPHTB and PBB-P2 of Office for Management of Regional Revenue, Finance and Assets of Sigi regency as the service providers and community as the service recipients of Property Tax Collection. Data sources include primary data and secondary data with data collection implemented through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted using descriptive analysis techniques with qualitative approach illustrating that the Property Tax Collection Services at Office for Management of Regional Revenue, Finance and Assets of Sigi regency has accomplished in accordance with the expectations of society as a taxpayer, and the existence of barriers in Property Tax Collection Services at Office for Management of Regional Revenue, Finance and Assets of Sigi regency are still found.

Abstract

This research aims at finding out the service of interference license service at integrated licensing service agency palu. Types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection is conducteed through observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation technigues. Informants are chosen using purposive sampling technique. Analysis of the data is conducted using Miles dan Humberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Theory used is the theory of Zethaml Parasuraman and Berry consisting of five (5) dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. Based on results of the research conducted, the quality of service of disturbance permit at the IntegratedLicensing Service Agency of Palu is not maximized. First: tangibles dimension namely inadequate facilities and infrastructures for example waiting room size is inadequate, chairs provided does not match the number of applicants, as well as with the number of public toilet is also inadequate. But if it is viewed in terms of apparatus appearance and neatness, it has been pretty good. Second: reliability dimension is that the ability of the apparatus using tools has been very good, but the service provided is not entirely referring to the standard operation procedures. Third; the dimension of responsiiveness is that the response of apparatus in receiving a complaint of applicants is alreadyvery good, but the speed in completing the issuance of disturbance permit is not maximized. Fourth; the assurancedimension, namely the guaratee givenby the apparatus to the applied regulation. Fifth: empathy dimension, the services provided are not discriminatory  and the apparatus provide services politely and friendly. Thus, of the five dimensions of service quality above, there are things that need to be addressed, so that the quality of services provided can be maximized.

Abstract

This research aims at determining how The Implementation Of The Tourism Development Policy At The Office Of Culture And Tourism of North Toraja Regency. The Researcher uses the theory of Edward III as a benchmark for policy implementation. Five informants were taken as sample. The types of the data required are primary data and secondary data. The data collection is done by interview, observation, field notes, an documentary menthod. The data analysis includes domain analysis. The results of this research illustrate that overall Implementation of Tourism Development at the Office of Culture and Tourism of North Toraja Regency, using the theory of policy implementation which state by George Edward III, covering Communication, Resources, Disposition, and structure of bureaucracy, did not run optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of policies on local water companies Banggai. The research method is a descritive study with a qualitative approach, in which data and information collected using a Likert scale and interviews with selected informants. Theory used in this research is theory of George C. Edwars III to see aspect of communication in which policies are implemented properly, the clues not only understood but also be clear. Aspect of human resources and infrasructure resources adequate. Aspect tendency(disposition), which received the support of the implementation is the policy. Aspect bureaucratic structure which is one of the body as whole is implementing the policy. Research shows that: Still less intensive communication carried on the difference in views between leaders and employes of PDAM, which could an obstacle in implementation of policies in the services of PDAM. Available resources both facilities and infrastucture, and the resources have not been adequate apparatus to support the implementation of services policies in the taps. Disposition or attitude implementor inconsistent in sanctions for customers. Bureaucratic structure not be optimal, it is ironically standard operating procedures (SOP) yet.

Abstract

The main problems of this research are: (1) Is there a significant relationship between personality character of Social Science Instruction teacher and student’s motivation in learning process? (2) How much the relationship between personality character of Social Science Instruction teacher and student’s motivation in learning process? The purposes of this research are: (1) to know and analyze the relation between personality character of Social Science Instruction teacher and student’s motivation in learning process and (2) to know and analyze the relationship between personality character of Social Science Instruction teacher and student’s motivation in learning process. This research is a descriptive correlation used with the purpose to describe the character ongoing at the time of the research and searching the causes from the indication with the data analysis technique to test the research hypothesis using correlation analysis of Pearson Product Moment (PPM). The result of this research showed that there is a significant relationship between personality character of Social Science Instruction teacher and student’s motivation in learning process. And then, the personality character of Social Science Instruction teacher have a strong enough relationship to student’s motivation, the correlation value of 0,486 and the determination coefficient amounting to 23,62 percent. The correlation value of 0,486 when referring to the theoretical interpretation of the correlation coefficient according to Ridwan (2002:228), have a value of r is between 0.40-0.599 with interpretation between the variables X and Y correlation is quite strong.

Abstract

This research aims at determining the quality of health care in reducing maternal mortality in Puskesmas Biromaru, Sigi. The method of this research  is descriptive qualitative to obtain in-depth information from the informants. Seven informants were selected by using purposive sampling technique, who are on duty in the clinic of Biromaru, the head of the clinic, doctor, midwife coordinator, executive midwives and pregnant women. Observation and documents analysis were also done to get the needed data. The results show that the quality of health care in reducing maternal mortality in the clinic has not run according to the standards and procedures in charge. Of the five indicators in use, responsiveness, assurance and empathy have already been fulfilled while tangible still needs to be in the reinventoried in respect of the number of lost and damaged facilities and equipments. Similarly, the reliability still needs to be improved further particularly personnel skills, which can be obtained through a tiered education and training or an internship, so that the competence of the personnel can be improved  and effectiveness of the reduction in maternal mortality in the clinic can be achieved.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the effect of the visionary leadership of headmaster on teacher performance. The populations of this research are headmaster and all teachers with a total population of 39 people. Due to population was relatively limited, then to ensure the accuracy of the data, the author determined the entire member population is as the sample, using census method. The type of data in this study consisted of qualitative and quantitative data with the source used consisting of primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, and documentation. To answer the research hypothesis, the data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis; the results showed that visionary leadership headmaster significantly affect on teacher’s performance, with the value of the F-count amount 56.115 with a significance level of 0.000. When compared to the value of the F-count (56.115) with the F-table (1.84) at a significance level of α 0.05, it means that variable visionary leadership of headmaster which consists of the ability to determine the direction the organization (X1), understand the wishes of the people or consumers (X2), effected in activity and become a guide (X3) and be able to anticipate the future become an agent of change (X4) simultaneously significantly affect on teacher’s performance at SMPN 12 Sigi.
