Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine and analyze factors include individual factors, leadership, systems, team and contextual influence on the performance of regional financial manager at regional work units in Palu City. The results of the analysis of hypothesis testing showed a direct effect positive and significant correlation of factors between the individual, leadership, teams, systems and contextual to the performance of a financial management area on the sectors in Palu city, with correlation coefficients (Multiple R) = 0.835 means that the observed variables have a strong relationship with the dependent variable. While the coefficient of determination (Adjust R Square) of 0.685, which means that 68.5% of the independent variables are able to explain the dependent variable, while 31.5% is influenced by other variables in this study.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the quality of academic services at Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Tadulako University. This research is designed qualitatively. Informants of this research are Vice Dean of Academic Fields, Head of Administration, Head of Student Guidance and Officer of Sub-Division of Student Affairs and students of Teacher Training and Education Faculty who were determined using purposive sampling with data collection methods consisted of observation, interview and documentation. As for the technical analysis of the data including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results shows that, (1) Quality of academic services at Teacher Training and Education Faculty, of  responsivenes is already quite good, although not yet optimal, it is in because the number of employees by the number of students that are not comparable, because the number of employees who lack that causes academic administrative services in FKIP UNTAD be disturbed / retarded. (2) Quality of academic services at Teacher Training and Education Faculty, perceived from assurance, has been good, they show this by storing the data files of students with a neat either manually or by the application SIAKAD (Academic Information System). However of friendly and patience of the employees in the administration of academic/student still less friendly and patient in serving the students, they sometimes get angry and sometimes the students were told to wait a long time without any definite cause (3) Quality of academic services at Teacher Training and Education Faculty perceived from the tangible is not qualified  for the students to feel physically, the quality of service provided by the service providers is , it is also not  yet adequate by the employees / staff of academic administration. (4) Quality of academic services at Teacher Training and Education Faculty seen from empathy is still not perceived by the students, because the workers only focused to serve students in the management of academic and rarely provide the motivation that makes the student  spirit in teaching, learning and lectures. (5) Quality of academic services at Teacher Training and Education Faculty viewed from reliability  not maximized and students still often complain about the slow service at FKIP, it is recognized by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, this is because the number of staff/employee who is not professional with the number of students, this is slowing down the process of service, and the clerks never complicate the students is care of some things, because it's all been in accordance with existing rules and are in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in FKIP.

Abstract

This research aims at finding out and analyzing the use of information technology (internet) to enrich the perception and knowledge to the society in Sigi Biromaru District and the positive and negative impacts of using the information technology (internet) to the society at Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency. 100 respondents were taken as the samples of this research. The data were collected through interview, observation, questioner and documentation. Moreover, they were analyzed descriptively with a quantitative approach, in which the results are described and in detail. T-test analysis was used to answer the first problem of this research and Chi-Square (χ2) analysis was used to answer the second problem of this research. The results show that: 1). Information technology (internet) gives a big influence toward to the development of the perception and knowledge to the society at Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency. 2) Information technology (internet) gives a positive and negative impacts to the society at Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency, nevertheless the positive impact are more dominant than the negative impact.

Abstract

This research aims at finding out the influence of leadhership style toward the motivation of the employees at social department of labor and transmigration Sigi regency. This was a qualitative research. The informans were taken based on the criteria: authorities, engaged or undergoing the process of leadhership toward the motivation. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The result of analysis show that motivation of the employees at social department of labor and transmigration Sigi regency was a partisipative leadhership style. This type of leadhershipstyle can give goodcooperation between the leader and the employees and the cooperation among employees. It can be seen from the way the employees consult their job to their leader, the leader’s way to take a decision, how the leader delegates the authority to employees, and the way the leader gives an apportunity to the employees to express their opinion, ideas about their activites nd job. By applying a pertisipative leadhership style, the head of social department of labor and transmigration can improve the motivation of the employees by providing a comfort atmoshere and giving confidence and responsibility in doing the job.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine and analyze the influence of the learning organizational consisting of organizational learning, learning at workplace, learning climate and learning structure on the performance of the team simultaneously and partially in the Secretariat Section of Sigi District. This is a causal descriptive research with a survey approach using 74 employees as the sample with sampling technique used Proportional Random Sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis and the results show that learning organizational variable (X) consisting of organizational learning (X1), learning at the workplace (X2), a learning climate (X3) and the structure of learning (X4) simultaneously give a positivr and significant impact on the performance of the team in Secretariat Section of Sigi District, with a value of F counted 23.826 > F-table value of 1.53 or the Sig-F 0.000 < α value 0.05. Variable of organizational learning, learning at workplace, learning climate and learning structure partially give positive and significant impact on the performance of the team in Secretariat Section of Sigi District with t counted respectively 5.119; 2.486; 2.029; and 2.369 > 2.000 t-table value or value of sig-t respectively 0.000; 0.015; 0.003; and 0.021 < α value 0.05 at the 95% confidence level.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of top management support, AIS user training, and AIS personal technical capabilities to the AIS user satisfaction on PT. Bank Sultenng, Palu Central Sulawesi. This research subject is the headquarters of PT Bank Central Sulawesi and one of the branches of service PT. Bank Sulteng branch Donggala, Central Sulawesi. The populations in this study were all employees whose job is directly related to the use of AIS on the headquarters and branch offices that is the subject of this study. The sampling technique in this research is census, because the total population of 47 people who are still allowed to do the census. This study used a questionnaire as a research instrument and multiple linear regression analysis as the statistical test data processing. The result showed that the support of top management, AIS user training, AIS personal technical capability, have a significant effect on the AIS satisfaction users simultaneously. Top management support and AIS user training are effect on AIS user satisfaction partially. AIS personal technical ability variable does not affect the AIS user satisfaction. Based on the value of Adjusted R Square AIS user satisfaction not only influenced by the variable support of top management, AIS user training, AIS personal technical capability, but is also influenced by other variables that not examined in this study, so expected for further research can add other variables that affect user satisfaction SIA other than those examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of Level IV Leadership Training and Education Policy in Regional Employment Board of Palu City. The type of research used in this study was qualitative descriptive research. Informants in this study amounted to 6 people consisting of 1 Head of Training and Education Division,2 Heads of Subdivisions, 2 Field Person-in-Charge ,and 1 Participants ofLevel IV Leadership Training and Education. The types of data were primary and secondary data. Data were collected by means of interview, documentation, and triangulation techniques. Analysis of data used in this studywas Miles and Huberman Model, i.e. data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The theory used in this studywas the theory of Edward III consisting of four aspects: communication, resource, disposition/attitude, and bureaucratic structure. The result shows that:first, the communication aspect had not been effective, forthe obstacles in the communication of the committee to the participants was still in frequent. Second, the resource aspect had not already been adequate,neither resources of officers, facilities,or infrastructures. Third, the disposition aspect had not run as expected, for lack of the implementors’ awareness to remain on policy goals. Fourth, the absence of operational standards and procedures (OSP) regardingLevel IV Leadership Training and Education. Thus, the researcher concludes that the implementation of Level IV Leadership Training and Education had not been effective as expected.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of civil servant discipline policy at Palu City Department of Revenue and Financial and Asset Management. This study uses qualitative method. The location of this research was the office of Palu City Department of Revenue and Financial and Asset Management. The informants in this study were selected by using purposive method, i.e. informant selection with certain considerations to assign 6 informants. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentations. In this study, the researcher used the approach of Miles and Hubermen interpretation analysis, to bring up what the meanings of the problems, cases, conditions, or circumstances, that were studied.The results of this study show that: 1. Communication via transmission: clarity and consistence had not been good. 2. Resources: civil servant resources were adequate, while budgetary resources were not specifically budgeted. 3. Disposition: it had not run as it should. 4. Bureaucratic structure: it was implemented fairly well because there had been operational standards and procedures.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the simultaneous and partial influences of educations, finances technical training, and work experiences on the quality of financial report in Central Sulawesi. The test result show that education, finance technical training, and work experiences simultaneously have significant influence on the quality of financial report in Central Sulawesi by conducting f-test with R2 of 0,670. In other words, 67% of independent variable is influenced by the independent variables; the remaining is influenced by other variables that are not included in the study. Education significantly influences the quality of financial  report with t value of 0,276; financial technical training significantly influences the quality of financial report with t value of 0,166; work experience significantly influences the quality of financial report with tvalue of 0,255.

Abstract

This study aims: (1) to describe and analyze the development of the number of passengers, the number of vehicles and parking services revenue at Mutiara Sis Al-Jufri Airport in Palu; and (2) to acknowledge and analyze the impact of the number of passengers and  vehicles on the parking fee income at the airport of Mutiara Sis Al-Jufri in Palu with partially or simultaneously. Data were analyzed by analysis of growth (trend) and multiple linear regression analysis, the results show that there are an increase of the growth of parking services revenue at the airport of Mutiara Sis Al-Jufri Palu, and the number of passengers and vehicles with partial and simultaneous have significant impact on the airport parking services revenue at Mutiara Sis Al-Jufri Palu Airport
