Abstract

The high population density and land subsidence is a major problem that threatens the population of northern Jakarta. Land used for new resident housing and green space is very hard to find. Making Bubblebowl aim to formulate the concept of the use of land from the sea with preserve the ecosystems therein, reduce the density of population on land, and realize the land as a city park.so can anticipate and prevent sinking of the northern city of Jakarta. The method used is pay attention to the mechanical effect that occurs and analyze based on calculations and concepts defined.

Abstract

The increasing percentage of beggar’s existence has forced our government to take efforts to solve it, but so far all are failed. Concerning to that, we introduce the Brainwashing Motivation (BM) that can be tried as an alternative solution. Inspired by the Social-Learning theory by Bandura, a psychologist, BM is applied in the form of motivation seminars in which some trainings of many kinds of skills with an intensive assistance will be held. BM won’t only be able to reduce the beggars’ passion to beg, but also give them a lift to live a better life as they own valuable skills.

Abstract

Waqf or endowment is one of the most unique Islamic economics instrument and has been developed rapidly all over the world. However, cash waqf as one of the most potential source of fund has not been empowered optimally in Indonesia. This proposal outlines the idea of building the most ideal and suitable waqf bank model that can be implemented in Indonesia to develop cash waqf and overcome poverty through the management of a variety of Islamic investments. The profits from this investment will be allocated mainly for developing education, health care, social services, and productive capital.

Abstract

Madura Island is an island with natural beauty tourism, arts and culture have a fairly abundant. Statistical BPS data in 2012 showed that the economy is still grows very slow in Madura. This is caused by low levels of accessibility Madura Island with national and activity centers in the region of East Java. In addressing these issues, the authors formulate the concept of locally -based industrial development that emphasizes the environmental balance and maintain cultural elements to achieve economic equality and sustainable form of Madura Sparkling Stars. Madura Sparkling Stars is a concept of modern tourist area located on the coast longest bridge. This concept emphasizes on empowering local communities to build economic stability through agriculture and fisheries in Madura, and make the area around the foot of the Suramadu as growth centers of Madura economy, and creates branding in an effort to enhance the attractiveness of the tourist to visit Madura.

Abstract

Jakarta is area with the highest population density in Indonesia, and acts as a Center for Economic Capital and the State. One factor is the density of population is high urbanization. We put forward the city a model of entry visas as a form of legalization for the urban policies aimed at regulating migration and controlling the number of entrance. Furthermore, the necessary parties supporters to be able to carry out the implementation of the strategic entry visa this city include the establishment of a special body to handle visas entered the city. Eventually we hope to visa entry system the city is able to take control of the number of migrants coming to Jakarta.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has an abundance of different cultures. With the abundance of culture possessed, Indonesia should be able to preserve it. However, in reality some Indonesian culture has been claimed by neighboring countries such as Reog Ponorogo is claimed by Malaysia, and others. So must to do an action that can minimize the threat. One solution is by the Rumah Indonesia. Rumah Indonesia is a public facility that concept "Indonesia is a Country of 1000 Culture". The goal is to make the establishment of information centers as well as introducing Indonesian culture to the people at the border. Which in turn can be everlasting to Indonesian culture and not claimed by neighboring countries.

Abstract

With the increasing volume of sea water due to global climate change in the coastal area is very prone to rob (flood). Indonesian mainland will automatically narrowed since eroded by sea water which swept the coast. Construction of a structure to prevent it are necessary. So dam offshore is the right solution to reduce the problem of marine activities which lead to the reduction of the Indonesian mainland. In addition this structure also has a variety of functions, among others, is a provider of fresh water and alternative energy generation for coastal communities. Application of offshore dam would improve the welfare of people, especially in the coastal areas of Indonesia.

Abstract

The prediction of future energy needs mention that people are bigger and energy sources in use currently predicted will fail. And it will really happen in about year 2300. Based on those problems, and we take an idea to make renewable energy source that we call independent energy company. We know that every building available almost had drainages on pipe. The Principle on mikrohidro we use to make an instrument that utilizes the flow of water to convert the kinetic energy into electrical energy. This system apply the principle of fluid mechanics. Water flowing on water pipes have potential and kinetic energy that can be utilized to rotate turbine which connected with the generator axis that would change this mechanical energy into electrical energy. Furthermore, electrical energy can directly used or stored first in a battery and used anytime. With the success of this system work, the industry is expected to meet its own electricity needs to be able to reduce the amount of electrical energy consumption sourced from fossil fuels or petroleum.

Abstract

Jakarta can’t be separated from threat of floods and canhapen at any time. Many factor that cause flooding become issue, from the waste matter, poor water uptake, until settlements. Floods also resulted loss to the citizens. One of the worst loss is the scarcity of clean water after the flood. Ideas proposed in PKM-GT is to manufacture Water Bank. It’s useful to overcome scarcity of clean water after flooding, with flood water will process into clean water, then it’s ready to be consumed. So people can get the clean water every day.

Abstract

Urban development in Indonesia raises some urban problems. One of them is the switch function of agricultural land to residential and industrial. Meanwhile, the food needs of communities dependent on agricultural commodities which in fact require land as a place of production. The concept of urban agriculture emerged as an answer to deal with the problem of urban land and the sustainable development efforts. According to the Farm Bill and Trade Act of 1990, meaning the practice of sustainable agriculture crop production and livestock production systems integrated with certain rules so that it can continue in the long term. Sustainable Agriculture-System (SAc-S) is a proposed solution to address the sustainability of land and food in urban areas as well as a form of sustainable development by looking at the social, economic and environmental. Our idea to realize the urban farm located in one-story building that do not spend the urban land. In addition, the building will be surrounded by several other concepts, namely livestock, fisheries, horticulture and agroforestry. This concept can be applied in the city center to achieve food self-sufficient green city.Keywords: urban land issues, sustainable development, green city
