Abstract

School culture is the hallmark, character or character and image of the school. Schools as the main indicator to direct the educational output process that is oriented towards the creation of a good quality learning process, in summary this study aims to provide an overview of the climatic conditions and school culture that affect the quality of the learning process and this researcher tries to examine these conditions by conducting research using ex-post facto quantitative method with prerequisite test and ANOVA test which shows the result of the ANOVA test is 0.000. The results of this study note that the significance of 0.000> 0.05, it can be concluded that school culture has a significant effect on the quality of the learning process.

Abstract

Anti-corruption education has become a serious concern of the government. The Indonesian government is trying to include anti-corruption education in the higher education curriculum. The education will be included in the higher education curriculum by considering the curriculum content in each university. This needs discussions and opinions to ascertain the position of anti-corruption education in the curriculum. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on the urgency of anti-corruption education into the curriculum of Islamic higher education. This study aims to determine the opinion of PGMI lecturers about the urgency of anti-corruption education into the Islamic higher education curriculum, especially PGMI. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique used was distributing questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis. The instruments used were questionnaire sheets, interview lists, and documents. The collected data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, namely: data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research data, it was found that the PGMI FTK lecturers of UIN Ar-Raniry had high attention and gave a positive response to the urgency of anti-corruption education into the curriculum of Islamic higher education. Furthermore, it is also known that the dominant respondents (as many as 58%) stated that anti-corruption education is necessary or urgent to be included in the curriculum of Islamic higher education. Finally, the curriculum model suggested by the respondents is an integrated, a habituation, and an autonomous independent model to accommodate anti-corruption education.

Abstract

Writing skills are the skills with the highest level of difficulty for learners compared to the other three skills. Writing activity is a form of manifestation of language skills and abilities that are most recently mastered by language learners after listening, speaking, and reading skills. The ability to write essays is an important and strategic skill for students. Through an essay it allows students to make a positive contribution to problems that occur in society, among others, by pouring out bright ideas as outlined in essay writing. Essays can also foster a critical and creative spirit in students without causing anarchist actions as is often the case among students when conveying aspirations to other parties. At the student level, critical thinking formation can be done by writing essays. Because by writing an essay, students will be asked to give their views on a problem. When they understand a problem well and are able to analyze it, they have given an idea or idea about a problem or issue that is being discussed. The student level is the level where they have matured in thinking and are able to properly absorb various issues or problem topics that exist around them. Newspaper mass media with a diverse scope of discussion and lies in its ability to present news and ideas about the development of society in general, which can affect modern life as it is today. In addition, newspapers are able to convey something at any time to their readers through educational newspapers, information and interpretations of several things, so that most of the community depends. Based on this, the newspaper mass media can be an alternative media in writing essays.

Abstract

This article discusses the attitude of the santri in Dayah Babussalam Matangkuli, North Aceh. This attitude which is the result of the kitab kuning-based Islamic education process they received, both are lifestyle in the form of views and daily life routines that are lived. This model of the daily life of the students is the answer to the various problems that plague the Indonesian nation today. The writing of this article uses descriptive analysis method. The data collected is the result of observations, interviews and documentation which is then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the santri in the pesantren have a number of lifestyles that can be ideal models for the life of the Indonesian nation. The attitude results from the educational process include simplicity, mutual help, ukhuwah Islamiyah, protected from the damage of illegal drugs and advances in information technology, mutual respect and so on. This santri lifestyle is expected to be an ideal model for the attitude of the younger generation of Indonesia.

Abstract

The process of transforming knowledge to students in learning there are several ways, one of which is using supporting media. Various supporting media will attract the attention of students. The learning process using media is still rarely carried out in the school environment, causing students to feel bored when studying and having an impact on student learning outcomes. Teachers as educators should think about varied media to increase students' interest in participating in learning. One of the interesting media to use in learning is Pop Up Book media. This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes through the media Pop Up Book. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were 16 students of class VA MIN 4 Aceh Besar. Data collection is done by observation and tests. This observation is used to determine the ability of teachers and students in learning, the data is analyzed by the percentage formula. The result of the research is that the teacher's activity increased from (69.5%) in the first cycle and in the second cycle to (96%). The activity of students increased from (66.3%) in the first cycle and in the second cycle to (87.5%). And the learning outcomes of students in the first cycle (25%) and in the second cycle increased to (87.5%). Thus, increasing student learning outcomes by using Pop Up Book media can improve student learning outcomes in thematic learning.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate non-formal education programs at Rumoh Baca Hasan-Savvas in Kota Lhokseumawe because in general, the community reading park is difficult to find in Aceh. This study was conducted to find out how the evaluation of non-formal education program on Rumoh Baca Hasan-Savvas in the evaluation of Context, Input, Process, and Product?. The type of this research is qualitative evaluation research, with phenomenological approach of field study. The sample in this study was the head of the Rumoh Baca Hasan-Savvas institute, the person in charge of the program and the students who were taken at random. Data were collected by observation, interview and documentation. The data collected is analyzed by organizing the data, spelling it into units, synthesizing, arranging into patterns, choosing what is important and learning, and making conclusions. The results of this study indicate that in the evaluation of the context: the goal in eradicating illiteracy and marginalization and the context of the program has been implemented fairly well. In the input evaluation: the age level, the area of residence and the background of the learners vary according to the initial provision of the program, the staff education background on Rumoh Baca Hasan-Savvas 90% is S2, in general the teaching staff has experience in the field so as to provide good service to the participants though still short of teachers, donors who help the implementation of the program in Rumoh Baca Hasan-Savvas come from domestic and abroad but still still need other funding for the future. In Process Evaluation: student recruitment process, program management strategy, learning strategy has been done well enough, schedule of program implementation either literacy activity or creative class have been given to every learner but sometimes still hampered on availability of books for literacy activities as well as materials standard for the creation class, the person in charge of the program is appropriate because it is appointed directly by the head of the institution based on the mature consideration. In Product Evaluation: improved achievements and behavioral changes are increasingly for the better.

Abstract

In finding the problem of jurispruding learning in class III-1 MIN 20 Aceh Besar and found that jurispruded teachers have not developed much learning model in teaching. Teachers use lecture methods, Q&A, discussions, have not used learning models, so students are less instrumental and motivated in learning. This learning condition causes students to be less enthusiastic about taking lessons, at the time of learning students sit more, listen, take notes and work on exercise problems. The author tries to apply a learning model that is considered suitable to activate students and will get the completion of student learning, namely the make a match model. The implementation of this make a match model by way of students looking for a pair of problem cards that match the answer card held by the student. Based on the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the completion of student learning in grades II-1 MIN 20 Aceh Besar in jurispruded subjects increased from a value of 71.42 (cycle I) to 92.85 (cycle II). Teacher activity increased from a grade of 90.71 (cycle I) to 94.44 (cycle II). Student activity also increased from a grade of 83.33 (cycle I) to 91.66 (cycle II). Thus there is an increase in the completion of student learning through the application of make a match model in jurispruding subjects in grades III-1 MIN 20 Aceh Besar.

Abstract

Virtual learning is the only solution that can be implemented to replace the face-to-face learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. Several studies have proven that learning with virtual classes can affect the learning outcomes of elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the virtual classroom implemented for elementary school students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a literature review method (library study). 9 national journals from previous research have been selected based on the criteria that they have been published on the Google Schoolar page in the range of 2020-2021 with a focus on problems regarding virtual classes for elementary school students. The analysis and review process uses a synthetic matrix. The results showed that virtual learning was effective for elementary school students when using learning applications that were mastered by each student, there were agreed learning procedures and rules, supervisory synergy between teachers and parents, and videos and teaching materials were distributed to each. each student. Therefore, it is necessary to have a virtual learning evaluation for elementary school students at least every Sunday, so that students' difficulties can be known by the teacher and immediately followed up.

Abstract

The purpose of learning science in the KTSP is to develop process skills to investigate the environment, solve problems and make decisions. Students' ability in science process skills will affect students' abilities in learning. Research has been carried out on improving science process skills in learning through the application of group investigations of class VI students at MIN Rukoh Banda Aceh City. This research raises the issue of "How to increase the ability of science process skills through the application of group investigations in class IVMIN Rukoh Banda Aceh". This study aims to improve process skills with group investigations including questioning skills, planning skills, observing skills, and students' communication skills in students' science learning. The subjects in this study were students of class VI MIN Rukoh Banda Aceh, totaling 34 students. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The results of the study were obtained through worksheets and observations. The results showed that the percentage of classical completeness in the first cycle was 29.41%, and the second cycle was 38.23%. The difference in the percentage of completeness between cycle I and cycle II was 44.12%. Thus, the application of group investigations can improve science process skills in grade VI students at MIN Rukoh Banda Aceh City.
