Abstract

In the automatic control of the process manufacturing industry contributed greatly due to the dynamicalsystem setup proved to give good performance such as increasing the quality and pace of the productionprocess, reduce production costs and minimize the tedious routine work to be done by humans. MMI (Man-Macchine Interface) is a system consisting of information and communication technology device that servesas a liaison between people and machines that run a complex industrial process. MMI hardware architecturethat is built consisting of client, server, microcontroller, motor drivers and servo drive. Communication thatoccurs is a two-way communication so that the servo motor can be controlled and monitored the movementand position by the server and client

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to identify and justifies implementation of the trinity concept architecturaldesign conceived by Vitruvius, the architect who existed in the first century AD, to explore the design conceptof Mapolda building in Central Sulawesi as a representation of the new paradigm of policing.Function (utilities), the structure and construction (firmitas), aesthetics (venustas) is a parameter that is usedto trace the application of theory Vitruviuas to the building is designed and located in Palu. While local andglobal aspects are used as a benchmark tracking the totality of the concept of shape and appearance ofbuildings.Mapolda building design in Central Sulawesi is to apply the idea of the trinity of architecture Vitruviusthrough recomposition fisik function and psychological function. Abstract

This study examines in depth about the software requirements to build a public information service system. Inprinciple, this research aims is to develop a plan needs public information service system that can assist andaccelerate the process of public service and reduce errors so that the information will result in services that can beaccounted for. This research is expected to contribute to the academic world is to add insight and knowledgeabout software engineering and information systems of public service.Software public information service system is designed with an interface easy to understand Indonesianlanguage, web application, multiple-login, can be integrated with computer networks, and built with PHPscript programming language, database used is MySQL, as well as web server used is AppServ 2.2

Abstract

This paper discuss about effectiveness of heat exchanger in the cooling system of hydropower generator.Data obtained from generator cooled PLTA at Sulewana, Poso. The type of heat exchanger is compact heatexchanger, with dimensions: : SL=0.021 m, SD=0.029 m, ST=0.04 m, L=1.5 m, DTubing=0.019m. The resultshows that air temperature continues to decrease after passing through the cooler. Air temperature duringthe first pass through to the cooler is 75°C and continues to decline as a generator that drives the movementof air through the cooler, and the cooling water continues to rise from the initial temperature of 28oC to34oC. While the effectiveness of heat exchanger, has increase due to deacreasing air temperature circulatedinside the generator by 37 %

Abstract

"Television" is no longer a novelty to the community, especially the urban areas. At first only intended as amedium of television to broadcast information and entertainment that comes with moving images such as ascene. However the line with technological developments lead to the use of television not only as the meansmentioned above. Today television is also used as an advertising medium, video games, computer monitorsand others. Abstract

The purpose this research first, to know the level of society participation analysis and local institutiontowards planning, developing and generator management PLTMH at Paneki of Pombewe Biromaru DistrictSigi Regency; second, to know the role of local institution in the village in order to support this program.This research is a qualitative descriptive which is supported by quantitative with using of survey method ininformation and data collecting. Sample taking is conducted with non-probability sampling by using ofcensus or surfeited sampling technique. Hypothesis test is done by using frequency distribution table andcross tabulation.The results of this research indicates that, first, participation of society towards a planning, implementation,and management PLTMH in Paneki with the low percentage because socialization process is not so well,understanding degree of society is low, the society is focus in their activity, economic condition and sense ofbelonging on existence of PLTMH in Paneki is still less. Second, the role of local institution in this village tosupport this program is very low, because there is no coordination between village government and localinstitution as the channel of inspiration of society and also the attention of local institution towards thisPLTMH is very low.

Abstract

This paper describes the utilization of waste materials such as Styrofoam, Plastic PVC, coal ash dust and tiremarks on the hot mix asphalt concrete mixtures. The purpose of this paper is to explain that the potential useof waste materials in hot mix asphalt pavement.The data presented in this study is a secondary data from the research at the Laboratory of Transportationand Highways Faculty of Engineering, University of Tadulako that has been done by writers and members ofother researchers. In this paper the variables considered are the stability and durability of asphalt concretemixtures using the waste material.The results of this paper presentation shows the potential for material Styrofoam, plastic pvc, dust and coalash can be used in hot mix asphalt concrete mixtures
