Abstract

Research aim to monitoring and evaluating differences in spatial planning product that it arranged with existing conditions in Kabupaten Poso. The method was survey method with quantify analysis approach to different counts in spatial planning monitoring aspects in to three groups populations, land use, and space structures. Analysis result showed for all spatial planning monitoring aspects have very significant differences and have not relevant with spatial planning product in Kabupaten Poso condition, it also influenced by regional wide become two regions as Kabupaten Poso and Kabupaten Tojo Unauna, so spatial planning product must be totally revised.

Abstract

A house is a basic need for each family to reach a prosperity and familiy future. Physical of house is one of determining factor to get a healthy house. This paper, describe physical of a house of Palu Town inhibitant near Palu bay in 2003 in terms of city development and architectural rule. . The physical of a house which is observed such as : area of the house and yard, type of building material and house wall condition, type of slab and roof material, the existence of ventilation, lighting condition inside the house, and condition of drainage. The report is conducted through descriptive and analytical approach.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the effect of heat treatment before and after tempering on hardness with temperature variation of HSS steel. Heat treatment with temperature 500- 850 oC on specimens were tested and quenched on the water. Another specimen was tempered with 100, 250, 400, 500, 600 and 700 oC temperatures with air quenching. Hardness testing of these specimens has been done with Vickers and Rockwell method. Results show that heat treatment process with water quenching increases hardness and specimens tend to decrease their hardness with increasing temperature

Abstract

Water supply system provided by Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) plays an important role in fulfilling local citizen’s needs, both upper-middle and low classes of the society. Basically, water supply system involves three stakeholders: the users (the customers), the management (the company), and local government as a regulator. As a user, customer’s main concerns is the fulfillment of his/her needs with affordable price, whilst PDAM as the management aims to gain profit. In the other hand, local government aims to keep the balance between supply and demand while seeking growth in its income.Currently, water supply service in Palu is only accessible for those from upper-middle class whilst the poor cannot access the service due to its high tariff. The issue of the need of equal access to the standardized water supply system, that at the same time is affordable for every citizen, consequently has emerged. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a study using Ability To Pay (ATP) and Willingness To Pay (WTP) approaches, taking into account the society’s real expenses and water supply system’s existing tariff. In subsequent, the subsidy for low-class society can be calculated.The population of this research consist of 408 households, spread into four districts. The primary data was collected by administering questionnaire using simple random sampling. Interviews were also conducted in order to gain more insight into the data. Secondary data was collected from PDAM Donggala and some other institutions. The data was analyzed using two techniques; first, ATP technique with household’s expenses approach; and second, WTP technique by taking user’s (customer) perception into consideration. The results showed that 75% of those who allocating 5% of their income to pay the PDAM’s bills had the ability to pay more than the tariff, whilst only 40% of those who allocating 3% of their income had the ability to pay more than the tariff. It is also appeared that none of the respondents were willing to pay more than the tariff (which is Rp.1450/m3). Further analysis showed that 47,3% of PDAM’s customers were able to subsidize to the poor, as their ability to pay (ATP) were mosre than Rp. 1500/m3

Abstract

Landslide is one of the most types of slope movements of soil\rock often occur in Indonesia and resulting in damages such as in agriculture land, highways, structures and even casualties. From the researches landslides often take place on the rainy season,as well as when the rain is falling or after the rain stopped. This research will be done in two phases. First phase is a numerical modeling to simulate and predict slope hidrological behavior in respon to rainfall. The rainfalls applied for modeling are high and low intensity that are ï‚£ 70 mm/hour and 20 mm/day respectively some hours until days. The rainfall modeling results is used as the data for next phase that is slope stability analysis. Slope stability will be analiyzed at the initial condition, when raining and after the rain stopped. This research results the decreased of slope stability caused by the rain depends on the intensity and duration of the rain. The research obtains that the rain intensity of 70 mm/hour is the most potential cause to trigg the landslide than goes of 20 mm/day, 30 mm/hour and 50 mm/hour

Abstract

This paper explained more circumstantial of planning lisp at a building by using Method of Marcus, load and bone volume of the lisp were calculated by using method Marcus. In this method, the flatten load is calculated using tables and the point load is calculated with formula and table.The result shows that by using formula 1,2 MD + 1,6 ML of combination load, the maximum encumbering values were obtained for Mlx, Mly,Mtx, Mty.From the reinforcement calculation, the reinforcement of field in x direction use Ø 12 – 150 mm and for the fulcrum use Ø 12 – 150 mm. In y direction, reinforcement of the field and the fulcrum use Ø 14 – 150 mm. For the convenience, The reinforcement with Ø 14 – 150 mm is used for x and y direction.

Abstract

Settlement is the place where human being spent their lives. Its’ environment should be balanced with natural environment together with dweller. Settlement infrastructure is the basic needs besides of food and cloths and its the most important thing dweller. The aim of this study is how to ge detail information through the analysis of settlement infrastructure particularly in the slum areas of down town. Local theory based on the environmental condition of Pasar Masomba and surroundings which is place in the Tatura Utara where lying in Palu river banks. The result of this study showed that some infrastructure i.e., health, education, public area space, roads, and waste are needed
