This community service activity conducted by lecture and discussion methods in space followed by a documentary film showing the effects of global warming that occurred in various parts of the world. This activity aims to foster understanding of the issue of global warming and reduction efforts to the members of Dharma Wanita Persatuan, Sub District Gatak in Sukoharjo District. After this socialization all members of Dharma Wanita Persatuan Gatak sub-District became aware of the various issues of global warming and efforts to reduce its impact, further reducing the impact of intensified activities in greening the environment with family, school, and their villages.

Improving of AIDS desease one of caused by limited of knowledge which the impactof their attitude. Free sex related to the number of HIV viral infecsious. The aim of theactivity is improving of knowledge the commercial sex workers about AIDS desease.AIDS one of the impact commercial sex workes. The methodh of activity are lecture,discussion and consultation. The matherial of AIDS including definition,simptom and sign, treatment and preventive. The rresult of activity is the knowledgeof commercial sex workers better than before health education.

The aimed of this community service activity is to increase understanding ofthe village stakeholders, members of the BPD and community representatives in thevillage of Makamhaji, Sub District of Kartasura, District of Sukoharjo about theformulation of the Village Medium Development Planning (RPJMDesa) Document ,this activity also provides assistance preparation of Medium Development Plan-Village formulation so that it appears the draft Development Plan-Village Makamhaji accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affair (MoHA) number 37 and 66 in the Year 2007.The methods used in these activities include training activities, discussions anddocument preparation assistance, the Village Development Plan implemented whichdirectly implemented in the Village of Makamhaji. Training was conducted over 2days at the Village Makamhaji, which was attended by 23 participants and technicalassistance activity was conducted over 2 months after the training done to provideguidance and assistance in order to improve the preparation of the document draft ofthe Village Development Plan, this assistance activities take place in two places,firstly in department of Accounting FE UMS, and Village meeting room Makamhaji.As a result of training and technical assistance of planning preparation produced thedraft of medium development plan document in Villages Makamhaji 2006 - 2012which has been prepared jointly by the trainees with reference to source documentssuch as RPJMD Sukoharjo, Kartasura District Strategic Plan, Development PlanningConsultation document (Musrenbang ) Makamhaji Village, District KartasuraSukoharjo.

Television as part of the development of technology has been able to change the wayhuman life ranging from how to speak, dress, etc. chivalry ethics. Reality is there thecommunity is very far from what is called intelligent concept of media. Many parentswho do not pay attention to media consumption by their children and how muchimpact negetif raised by TV. Efforts to revive awareness of members of the Society ofTeachers Kindergarten Cluster Mangkunegaran about the negative influence of TVwith the concept of media literacy is expected to be applied in everyday life, has beenable to open the horizons of thought participants to the impact of TV. Critical attitudetoward TV has begun to take shape that comes to the end they hope to have a realaction from the government to fix the TV programs in Indonesia.

Member Of Mangkuyudan RT 01/04 mostly is majority religion islam havingstrong commitment to practice its(the religion teaching correctly as according tomanual al-Qurâan and al-Hadits. Constraint faced by them is Pertama, has not thereare a place to do religious service sholat fulfilling clauses fiqh, that is form of building mosque which its(the position towards direction of direction which tepatKedua, most of member of moslem mangkuyudan RT 01/04 still a few its(the knowledges about direction of direction according to calculation science falaq. Third, has not there is member of mangkuyudan RT 01/04 becoming place to enquire to religion problems, especially determination problem of direction of correct direction. Based on reasoning of this problem, hence some of member of sympathizer publics Muhammadiyah wishful to build mosque and formed [by] development committee of mosqueâ. As for becoming problems is development committee of mosque still be civil in the case of direction of correct direction and precise. They is there are strong desire to know about knowledge of direction of correct direction. Constraint faced by them is there is no institute or institution is its(the desire response. As according to problems is upper, hence solution done is perform [a] training of practice of determination of direction of direction with Resource person from the expert, in this case is Study Program Muamalat Islamic Religion faculty UMS. Determination Method of direction of direction applied in devotion of this public is apply object shadow because of sunshine. This model can be done by the way of determination with calculating difference Azimuth the sun and Kiblat of direction.Result practice of calculation determination of direction of direction in Mangkuyudan RT 01/04 Ngabeyan Kartasura Sukoharjo is Selisih Azimuth Kiblat ( Direction of Direction Counted - direction of Shadow) ) 294o 33â 33,84" â 291o 47â 58" = +1o 45â 35,84". On the basis of inferential this that direction of its(the direction is +1o 45â 35,84" dari shadow or 1o 45â 35,84" right side shadow. Positive impact of activity of devotion at public is development committee of mosque ( member of sympathizer moslem Muhammadiyah) Mangkuyudan Rt 01/04, gets addition of theology ( though has not is optimal), especially determination of direction of correct qiblat as according to science falaq and they motivat is strong to be more deepens the science.

The training for kindergarten teachers was conducted to equip them with knowlegde on the models of teaching to young learners. In general, the training involves the concept of teaching model, atractive model and its implementation, basic concept of teaching mathematics, reading and writing, and children cognitive development. After training, set of questionaire was distributed to see whether they master the knowledge given or not and to identify the teachersâ needs to determine the next topic. Based on the questionaire, it was found that they need to learn classroom management, curriculum, and teaching methods. Since most of the participants (80%) were housewives who did not have background knowledge on teaching young leaners, it was difficult enough to explain the knowledge. However, the participants confessed that they get knowlegde on how to teach young learners.

Embrace of open source software (OSS) has not been widespread although users ofOSS will gain a lot of benefits and the society and the nation will get many advantages.This writing describes an observation to the understanding and attitude of a group ofstudents towards the use of OSS. The students come from SMK Muhammadiyah 1Surakarta which is a vocational school in Surakarta owned by Muhammadiyahorganization. A survey was conducted during an OSS campaign. Students were facedwith two sets of questionnaires; the first set was given prior and the seoncd after thecampaign. The first set was aimed at identifying the computer literacy of the studentsand their understanding of the open source concept. The second set was aimed atexploring their understanding and attitude towards the use of OSS. Observation showedthat the campaign activity improved students understanding of open source conceptand enhance their attitude to use OSS. However, students were to some extent pragmatic when they were opted to select which software to use to accomplish a task.

Learning is an urgent issue in educating nations, to build natonal character, and to set up the noble moral. This clearly defined in the function and the objective ofnational education, that the national education functioned to develop the ability, tobuild character, and to raise the value of national civilization in order to brightennational life. Its goal is to develop the potential of the student in order to be a faithfuland pious person toward God the One, to have the good moral, to be healthy, learned,be capable, creative, autonomous, and to become a democrative and responsiblecitizen.Desa Randu, Kecamatan Subah is the supportive area in Kabupaten Batang. Desa Randu is one of the Branch of Muhammadiyah which quite progressive in Kecamatan Subah, but most of the school development in Kecamatan Subah not welldeveloped yet.In order to fulfill the need, so it necessary to held a training and teaching practices in Microteaching that conditioned as the active learning to the teacher especially the private teachers (Muhammadiyah) with the materials designed by and for the teacher in Teaching and Learning Process.The method used to realizationing this program is in form of training to design PAIKEM Learning (Active, innovative, creative, effective, and exciting) for teacherin SMP Darul Hijrah Desa Randu, Kecamatan Subah Kabupaten Batang.After training, the teacher feel the benefit of participative learning model alsothey feel happy about the training.

The problem faced by the village government Pabelan is: (i) What is the âlandof the village treasury managed optimally in supporting the food needs for the people(households) in Pabelan Village?, (ii) Is rice farm in the village that has been done inan efficient Pabelan?, (iii) How is the formulation of governmentâs role model villagethrough âbarn institution (LPD)â village in the management of food reserves in thevillage Pabelan? And (iv) How is the formulation of models of sustainable management of food reserves to ensure the establishment of food sovereignty (the production, availability and access to food) in the Village Pabelan. In general, the purpose of this activity is to design a management policy of food security (rice) at the village level associated with efforts to optimize the utilization of land and the village treasury LPD strategic role as a buffer stock at the village level. This method is suitable is in the format of coaching and / or community service as well as facilitating forums organized jointly involving the mayor and 12 villages and communities as key stakeholders in the management of food security. Application of food stock management in the village Pabelan expected to have implications for government policy Pabelan significant village, namely: (i) Optimizing the management of âtreasury village land for food (rice) for people (households) in the Village Pabelan, (ii) Efficiency Pabelan rice farm in the village in order to increase income of rice farmers in the village Pabelan, (iii) Strengthening the coordination of management of the stocks (reserves) in the Village Pabelan food through the village barn (LLP), Village, and (iv) The management of food reserves in a sustainable manner so as to ensure the formation of food sovereignty (production, availability and access to food) in the Village Pabelan.
