Abstract

ABSTRACT Previous studies mostly measured sharia financial inclusion using an index consisting of three dimensions: accessibility, availability, and usage. This research develops it by adding a digitalization dimension so that there are 4 dimensions in measuring sharia financial inclusion in Indonesia using an index. The first objective of this study is to visually illustrate the results of calculating the sharia financial inclusion index (in map form) in 33 provinces in Indonesia, using GeoDa software. Second, analyze the impact of sharia financial inclusion variables (the 4 form dimensions) that are calculated, on economic fundamental variables (growth, unemployment, poverty, and inequality) through a quantitative approach based on panel data analysis methods (FEM and REM). The secondary data used comes from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), in the 2015-2020 period. The results of this study indicate that sharia financial inclusion in Indonesia needs to be increased more evenly, so that it is not stagnant and centered in Java or provinces with a communal Muslim base (viewed from the results of index calculations) because the values are unequal between provinces. Meanwhile, the results of panel data analysis techniques show that variables reflecting the 4 dimensions of sharia financial inclusion have an impact on fundamental economic variables. Abstract

ABSTRACT The Covid-19 pandemic has changed economic conditions in various countries, including Indonesia. One of the sectors affected is the capital market sector which can also describe the economic condition of a country through the stock index. This article aimed to analyze the impact of Covid-19 and the macroeconomics on the Islamic stock index in Indonesia (ISSI and JII). Macroeconomic variables are included in the model as an update. This study used a quantitative method using the VECM model. Research variable data were obtained from investing websites (ISSI and JII), Indonesian covid-19 task force websites (Covid-19 Cases), Statistics Indonesia (BPS),and BI (BI Rate, Inflation, Exchange rates, etc.) from March 2020 to December 2022. Based on the research results, covid-19 and the macroeconomics have no effect on the sharia stock index in Indonesia, except for the BI Rate. This is due to the fairly tight fundamental selection of constituent issuers of the Islamic stock index, the speed and accuracy of Covid-19 control and the massive education. This result has implications for the selection of investors in stocks that are included in the Islamic stock index in Indonesia, because it is proven that ISSI and JII are quite immune to the Covid-19 pandemic. Keywords: Islamic Stock, ISSI, JII, Covid-19 Pandemic, Macroeconomic. Abstract

ABSTRACTOn a global and regional scale, Indonesia has one of the least environmentally sustainable economies in the Asia-Pacific region. Consumption is one of the key factors contributing to environmental degradation. By using materialism and environmental knowledge as mediators, this study aimed to understand how religiosity affects ethical consumption. This research used quantitative methods with structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis techniques based on partial least squares (PLS). The data came from a questionnaire distributed online. 153 valid questionnaires were selected for analysis. All respondents came from Indonesia, were adults (from 18 years old), and were Muslims. Findings show that religiosity influences ethical consumption, materialism, and environmental knowledge. This research also reveals that materialism and environmental knowledge influence ethical consumption, as well as the mediating effect of materialism and environmental knowledge on the influence between religiosity and ethical consumption. So, all hypotheses from this research can be accepted. These findings contribute theoretically to explaining the relationship between religiosity, materialism, environmental knowledge, and ethical consumption. Thus, this findings contribute to the field of Islamic economics. Practically, the findings of this research can help marketers formulate communication strategies that take into account the level of religiosity of consumers in Indonesia. Marketers must avoid unethical practices to encourage ethical consumption.

ABSTRACT One of the contributions of the Islamic banking sector to Indonesia’s economy is channeling funds to MSMEs in the form of financing since a number of them could not access financial services. Interestingly, the MSMEs grew as the Islamic Banking sector rose. However, no single study analyzes such an impact on unemployment in both rural and urban areas. This paper aimed to reveal the effect of MSMEs financing in Islamic banks on unemployment in Indonesia. It further aimed to discover such an effect on unemployment in Indonesia's urban and rural areas separately. Dynamic panel GMM two-step analysis is used in this research to estimate cross-province data in Indonesia between 2010 and 2019. The results of the study reveal that MSMEs financing in Islamic Banks contributed significantly to the reduction of unemployment in Indonesia as a whole. It is also found that the unemployment in urban areas is reduced by MSMEs financing in Islamic Banks. On the other hand, there is no significant relationship between MSMEs financing in Islamic Banks and unemployment in rural areas. These findings can be the basis for Islamic banks to increase MSMEs financing and for the government to expand Islamic banks' role in every part of Indonesia to reduce unemployment, especially in rural areas. Abstract

ABSTRACT The research aimed to identify and collect issues discussed regarding Islamic banking from user activity, sentimen, and content on Twitter. This study used a qualitative approach by collecting data on 145,475 conversations from Twitter using the Twitter Crawling technique with the Drone Emprit Academy (DEA) engine from 28 July 2020 – 10 March 2023 in Indonesia. Text data mining is used with the help of the DEA system by analyzing sentimen, Social Network Analysis (SNA), and other Twitter data analysis. The results showed that the highest number of tweets related to Islamic banking came from the number of tweets which were dominated by millennials and millennials with positive sentimens of 66%, then negative sentimens of 28% and neutral sentimens of 5%. From these results, both positive, negative and neutral sentimens are a challenge for various stakeholders in the field, including academics, government and others, in a more massive manner to explain and provide a more solid and stronger understanding of Islamic finance, especially Islamic banking. ABSTRACTThis study aimed to analyze the factors that influence customer decisions in using Islamic mobile banking services. In this study, a total of 200 respondents were collected through purposive sampling technique with the criteria of having used or currently using mobile banking services from Islamic banks in Semarang City, respondents answered online surveys through google forms as primary data collection. The methodology in this study was using PLS-SEM. The study findings show that the factors of mob mentality, reputation, perceived risk, and Islamic financial literacy have a positive and significant influence on the decision to use Islamic mobile banking. The four factors have a total influence of 87% on the decision to use Islamic mobile banking services. This finding implies that these factors need to be considered by customers and banks. Islamic banking must continue to strive for a level of security, data confidentiality and customer trust in a more creative, convenient, and effective mobile banking features and services system so that customers still feel their decision to use Islamic mobile banking services is right. Keywords: Mob Mentality, Reputation, Perceived Risk, Islamic Financial Literacy. REFFERENCES Alkhowaiter, W.
