Abstract

Learners’ success in acquiring a new language is very much affected and conditioned by the environment. The factor of environment establishes students’ interest and student motivation to improve students speaking skill. Even though English has been taught for at least six years in school levels in Indonesia, the students still have some difficulties in learning English whether it is the productive or receptive skill, especially speaking. the researcher conducted a research to answer the research questions. (1) How does the implementation of Language Environment on students’ speaking skill at Madrasah Aliah Keagamaan (Islamic Senior High/MAK) Mambaus Sholihin Gresik. (2) What are the accurate method, strategy and system to learn English at Madrasah Aliah Keagamaan (MAK) Mambaus Sholihin Gresik. The subject of the research was the students of MAK Mambaus Sholihin Gresik. There were 34 students’ in Elementary Level and 26 students’ in Intermediate level. The research used Ethnographic research and the techniques are Observation, Interview and Documentation. The factors of language environment are learning process and students activities, materials used based on students’ need, and intents guidedance.

Abstract

Excellent Islamic educational institutions still leave questions whether from the building, infrastructure or excellent from the management process. Islamic school system in Indonesia still just to be a market. Culture in Indonesia that emphasizes physicality when choosing an educational institution needs to be changed. The process of teaching learning has to be the first aim at . One way to realize the education of Islam featured with quality management integrated, which is called by a Total Quality management (TQM). TQM is a blend of all functions of the company into holistic philosophy to build the concept of quality, teamwork, productivity, understanding and customer satisfaction. There are some strategies to improve madrasah to be excellent Islamic Institutions First. Designing the model. Second, leadership excellence. Third, design human resources, especially educators. Fourth, the potential of the spiritual, intellectual, charity, skill, and good character, Fifth, how integrating the teachings of Islam and science.

Abstract

This article was written based on the results of qualitative research to describe the character of moderate Muslim children who were strengthened at TK Islam Terpadu Permata Mulia Mojokerto and its strategies. The data was obtained from observations, interviews, and studies of curriculum documents, report cards, etc. The data were analyzed by using the path developed of Miles and Huberman. The conclusions of the research were: 1) There are five strengthen character of muslim moderatein this school, they are independence, love the Quran, honest, brave, and leadership. 2) The strengthen Character strategy was obtained by learning in the classroom and outside the class. There are four models that were used to strengthen the character of muslim moderate, they were a model of preparatory activities, classroom learning, preparation centers, role playing, blocks, and natural centers; and outing.

Abstract

The development of technology makes the world become narrow and various kinds of information and shows become easy to access, including by children. Various kinds of acts of violence, crime, even videos or content that are not yet suitable for children to watch are more easily accessible through devices. This has a negative impact on the lives of the nation's children, for example theft, sexual violence, and brawl committed by children and adolescents. Thus, the inculcation of moral values ​​by both parents and teachers becomes a "must" thing to do so that the next generation of the nation is maintained. If we talk about implanting moral values ​​on children, we surely need the right media to use. One way is by storytelling. By listening to stories, directly or not, children will absorb the moral values ​​of what they hear. In addition, knowledge of the vocabulary of a language will be absorbed by children. We know that there are golden ages in children where children have periods where their brains are like sponges that are able to absorb many things. This paper was a literature study that discussed the correlation between storytelling in the process of improving language skills and implanting moral values ​​on children. Based on several available sources, it can be concluded that the use of storytelling as a medium was an effective thing to use on children.

Abstract

In modernization, students' interest in reading the Qur'an is very alarming. At present, they spend more time playing gadgets or games than reading the Qur'an. Though reading the Qur'an is one of the keys to be a good Muslim. The ability to read and understand the Qur'an can increase insight and knowledge. This study aims to determine the school's efforts to improve the culture of literacy and Qur’an reading at Karangsari State Elementary School through extracurricular activities in collaboration with the Coordinating Board for the Qur’an Learning Center. Supporting factors in improving reading culture include support and motivation from parents and schools, while the inhibiting factor is the development of the teaching ability of educators.

Abstract

In this era, there are many parents who are too busy to work with the aim of meeting their daily needs and social demands, in the end there are some parents who neglect their children or often scold their children because they feel tired from their work. Improper treatment of children will have a negative impact on children. In this paper we will discuss parenting training for parents who have difficulty in caring for children. The method used is the Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA) method is a method in advancing the situation and conditions in an area (rural or urban), a fast step here is to find data and information quickly from various sources In this service, data and information were obtained from the community, the child protection commission in the Wonodadi sub-district, and influential figures in the Pikatan village community. The result of the training is that there are changes in parents who initially have an authoritarian parenting gradually improve and apply parenting according to the needs of the child.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the effectiveness of experiential learning model tp increase the anger management skills in MI Miftahul Hidayah students. This research used one group pretest-posttest designs. The subjects of the research were taken from the students of grade of IV and V MI Miftahul Hidayah Gogourung with purpossive technique selection. Pretest result shows that there are eight students have low anger management score, then they were divided into a treatment group with experiential learning model. The research instrument uses anger management scale. The data analyzed by using Wilxocon sign rank test to verify the improvement of anger management in a group experiment. The result of the analysis indicates that a method used shows a significant increase the managing anger skill improvement.

On childs early age experience psikis's physical and developing growth, namely formative motorik, bicara, emotion, social, creativity, moral, sexual, and personality. In consequence teaching on Early Age Child Education is attributed for moral construction, religion, discipline, lingual ability, energy thoughts, energy composes, emotion, societal ability, and earthly concern skill. In the meantime of Islami's point perspective educations on early age child is emphasized on believe construction, religious service, behavior, intellectual, bodily, psikis, social, and sexual manner.

Abstract

Quality education is education that can produce graduates who have the basic ability to learn, so they can participate and even become pioneers in renewal and change by empowering educational resources optimally through good and conducive learning. Quality education or schools are also called high achieving schools, good schools or successful schools, effective schools and excellent schools. Excellent and quality schools are schools that are able to compete with students outside of school. Also has cultural roots and moral values ​​that are good and strong (akhlakul karimah). Quality education is education that is able to answer the various challenges and problems that will be faced now and in the future. Quality or quality of education is the ability of educational institutions and systems to empower educational resources to improve quality in accordance with the expectations or goals of education through an effective educational process. One of the Islamic educational institutions, namely madrasa as an institution that is able to realize quality education and be able to instill religious values ​​(akhlakul karimah) so that it can realize quality education based on morality based on morals.
