Abstract

This study aims to identify kinds of mistake by students, and those contributing most in carrying out the practicum in the class of Konsep IPA 2 second term in the academic year of 2011/2012. The subjects are those attending the class as many as 40. Data were collected through an observation focusing on the types of mistakes done by the subjects while they were doing their practicum. The mistakes observed cover mistake of tools, the tool positions, arranging the tools, determining the units, the scales, and the zero point. Results show mistakes of arranging the tools reaching 60%, of parallax and determining the scale amounting 50%, on determining the zero point amounting 35%, on positions 27.5%, on the units 30%, on tools 17.5%, and on figures 12.5%. The major mistakes done by the subject are on arranging the tools.Key words : Students’ Mistakes, Practicum

Abstract

In the learning process of Physical Education in, teachers are expected to teach varieties of basic motor skills, techniques and strategy of games and sports, internalization of values (sportsmanship, honesty, cooperation, etc.) as well as the conditioning of healthy lifestyles. The implementation is not through conventional teaching in the classroom consisting theoretical studies, but it also involves elements of physical, mental, intellectual, emotional and social. The activities which are given in teaching should get a methodical didactic touch, so that the activities carried out can achieve the aim of teaching. The problem formulation of this research is: is there an increase in the ability of service in the game of volleyball with “make-match” at VII-H grade of SMP Negeri 1 Wonoasri in 2012/2013 academic year? The purpose Classroom Action Research (CAR) is to improve the quality of learning on the physical education in doing “service” in a volleyball game through a “make-match” learning approach.In this study, researchers have collaboration with other teachers and the principal. Researchers are involved in the study from the beginning to the end of the researech. Researchers try to see, observe, feel, live, reflect and evaluate learning activities that take place. The implementation stages of the action research consist of planning, acting, observation, and reflection. To obtain accurate results, the collected data in study were statistically analyzed using the formulas of mean or average.The result showed that the average value of the first cycle of 66.14 (46.33%) while the Cycle II 91.29 (96.43%) in the second cycle, it has increased significantly. Referring to the hypothesis that the actions proposed in this class action research, it can be concluded that: there is an increased ability of “service” in volleyball games with “make-a-match” at VII-H grade of SMP Negeri 1 Wonoasri in 2012/2013 academic year.Keywords: Skill Upgrading, Make A-Match

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPA melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSOS di SDN Kanigoro 3, Madiun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Kanigoro 3, Madiun selama 4 bulan mulai bulan  Februari sampai Mei 2011. Subjek penelitiannya siswa kelas IV sejumlah 31 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi. Teknik observasi dilakukan untuk mengamati keterampilan sosial (sikap afektif siswa) dalam proses pembelajaran, meliputi keterampilan berbagi, partisipasi dan komunikasi. Data diperoleh dari observasi proses pembelajaran yang diambil menggunakan lembar observasi penilaian afektif (keterampilan sosial), kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian untuk melatihkan keterampilan sosial siswa pada siklus I menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata setiap siswa hanya menunjukkan 1 macam keterampilan sosial. Nilai rata-rata setiap aspeknya, yaitu keterampilan berbagi 63,74, keterampilan partisipasi 64,58, keterampilan komunikasi 59,77. Mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II, dimana siswa dapat melakukan komunikasi, berbagi dan berpartisipasi yang lebih baik lagi dengan temannya dalam diskusi. Nilai rata-rata tiap aspeknya, yaitu keterampilan berbagi 84,67; keterampilan partisipasi 87,09; dan keterampilan komunikasi 84,67. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data yang telah dilakukan disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSOS dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPA di SDN Kanigoro 3, Madiun yang ditunjukkan dengan data peningkatan antara lain: keterampilan berbagi dari siklus I rata-rata 63,74 ke siklus II rata-rata 84,67 keterampilan partisipasi dari siklus I rata-rata 64,58 ke siklus II rata-rata 87,09 dan keterampilan komunikasi dari siklus I rata-rata 59,77 ke siklus II rata-rata 84,67. Abstract

Teaching media has been applied and studied since long ago, but the significance of interactive map media in teaching social science at elementary school has not yet developed. This research is attempted to depict: the students’ mastery on the places and sites, activeness and achievement. The research is conducted under two-cycles class action research on 30 students of four grade, SD Jetis, Bantul, Jogjakarta, at social science subject. The analysis brings about results that: (1) the students’ mastery increases, from 4 students in preliminary reserach becomes 11 in the first cycle and 26 in the second cycle of the research, who master the teaching materials. (2) students’ activeness increases from 5 students in the prilimary research, to 10 in the first cycle and 28 in the second cycle, who are active in classes. (3) the students’ achievement also increase from 6 students to 15 in the first cycle and 29 in the second cycle, who achieve better mark. The results suggest that interactive map is effective in teaching social science for the students of four grade.Keywords : teaching social science, interactive map media.

Abstract

Guru  sebagai  tenaga  profesional  bertugas merencanakan dan melaksanakan proses pembelajaran, menilian hasil pembelajaran, melakukan pembimbingan, dan  pelatihan, melakukan penelitian, membantu pengembangan dan pengelolaan program sekolah serta mengembangkan profesionalitas. Adapun ciri-ciri guru profesional adalah menguasai substansi kanian yang mendalam, dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran yang mendidik, berkepribadian, dan memiliki komitmen dan perhatian terhadap perkembangan peserta didik. Abstract

Creativity of learners has become more and more important in the era of glabal competition, because the complexity of problems of all aspects  in  the  modern  era  keeps  on  increasing all  the  time.  The teaching and learning mathematics at the elementary school has to give  the  positive  contribution  so  as  to  encourage  the  students’ creativity as optimally as possible. Abstract

Social science has been viewed as naturally theoretic, which requires students to memorize all learned materials. The learning experience will be stucked in freez learning atmosphere when the teacher traditionally preeches and dictates against the students, as the teacher-centered approaches have run. This model of teaching produces passive students with low acheivement. In effort of dveloping the vivid learning experience, variative models of teaching must be applied by the teacher. Through this research, the researcher proposes Mind Mapping Teaching Method, hopping that the the students learning activities and achievement can be developed. Mind mapping teaching method can tentatively encourage student to be active, innovative, creative and imaginative along the way with the learning process. Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar selama ini masih dominan menggunakan metode ceramah, sehingga prestasi belajar dan keaktifan siswa masih rendah. Hal ini dapat diketahui dari observasi awal di kelas IV yaitu siswa yang aktif dalam kelas hanya 20%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar dan keaktifan siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam membuat alat peraga IPA di sekolah dasar. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Cermo 01 Kare. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tulis untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar siswa dan lembar observasi untuk mengetahui keaktifan siswa yaitu keaktifan dalam berdiskusi dan keaktifan dalam membuat alat peraga IPA, serta untuk mengetahui siswa dalam pembelajaran. Dari penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan diketahui adanya peningkatan prestasi belajar dan keaktifan siswa. Prestasi belajar siswa tuntas meningkat 37%. Aktivitas siswa tergolong aktif meningkat 25%. Aktivitas guru meningkat 22,91%. Keaktifan siswa membuat alat peraga IPA yaitu aspek membuat bagian alat peraga sesuai desain meningkat 54%, aspek keterampilan merangkai bagian alat peraga dengan benar dan sesuai meningkat 55%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam membuat alat peraga IPA dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar dan keaktifan siswa kelas IV SDN Cermo 01 Kare Kabupaten Madiun.Kata Kunci: Strategi Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek, Alat Peraga IPA, Prestasi Belajar, Keaktifan siswa

Abstract

Transactional leadership is described as providing an explanation of employees responsibilities and rewards they can expect if the specified standards is achieved. Transformational leadership approach motivates employees, so that they can thrive and achieve high levels of performance. In addition it is also necessary to support the performance of the good discipline of employees. Broadcasting companies who have employees working on the division of operational and management needed different leadership style to support the realization of optimal performance.This study used a qualitative approach. Sample was 136 people who are determined by purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used Likert scale models. Data analysis using validity test, realibitas test, the classical assumption, hypothesis testing, multiple linear regression analysis, analysis of correlation coefficients and determination.The results showed that together transactional leadership styles, transformational leadership styles, work discipline affect the performance of the companys employees broadcasting. Partially transactional and transformational leadership style had no effect on performance. And partially work discipline most dominant effect on performance.Keywords: Influence of Transactional, Leadership Style and Discipline Performance

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter berkaitan dengan keseluruhan kemampuan seseorang dalam berinteraksi dengan lingkungannya, sebab hal itu berkaitan dengan unsur moral, sikap sampai dengan perilaku. Sebuah karakter dikatakan  baik  apabila  seseorang  memiliki kemampuan atas pengetahuan sebuah moral, perasaan moral  dan  tindakan  moral.  Secara  substantif pendidikan karakter berkenaan dengan pendidikan afektif yaitu berkenaan dengan dunia kejiwaan, cita- cita dan  rasa, citra  serta  keyakinan  manusia. Keyakinan akan sesuatu yang paling baik merupakan hasil belajar. Sebagai hasil dari proses internalisasi secara nalar dari peserta didik terhadap nilai-nilai kebenaran dan kebaikan. IPS merupakan rumpun yang diharapkan  dapat  memberikan  muatan  besar pendidikan karakter sebab IPS mampu memfasilitasi peserta didik untuk membangun pengetahuan, beradaptasi  dengan  lingkungan,  membudayakan dirinya dengan lingkungan yang kesemuanya dapat dikembangkan melalui pembelajaran dengan pendekatan berbagai disiplin ilmu-ilmu sosial.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran IPS, Pendidikan Karakter
