Abstract

Berdasarkan teori motivasi menjadi faktor paling dominan yang mempengaruhi proses dan hasil pembelajaran. Motivasi meningkatkan minat belajar, perbedaan Motivasi menjadi daya penggerak dalam pembelajaran, tapi yang harus diperhatikan adalah dari mana motivasi itu datang. Penelitian ini mengkaji faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi bagaimana meningkatkan motivasi bagi mahasiswa di Program Studi Ekonomi, Universitas Negeri Malang. Motivasi merupakan variabel dependen yang diukur dengan (1) Memiliki literatur, (2) Frekuensi bertanya pada dosen, (3) Ketepatan mengerjakan tugas individu, (4) dan tingkat kehadiran mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan. Variabel independen dari motivasi adalah intrinsik dan ekstrinsik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menyimpulkan sebagai berikut: faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi adalah: 1. Faktor internal termasuk minat terhadap ilmu yang dipelajari dan orientasinya dalam mengikuti pendidikan tinggi, dan 2. faktor eksternal, termasuk kualitas dosen yang mengajar, isi pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran yang digunakan, kondisi dan suasana ruang kuliah serta fasilitas perpustakaan yang dapat dimanfaatkan mahasiswa.Key words : Learning motivation, affecting factors, learning interaction

Abstract

At the elementary school level, teaching literature is still experiencing growth phase is quite difficult. Among difficulties faced by the teachers one of which is the lack of student interest in reading short stories to literature. Under these conditions, the purpose of this research is to increase interest in reading literary short story in the sixth grade students of SDN 02 Dawu District Paron, Ngawi. The subjects were 24 sixth grade students at SDN 02 Dawu studied using observation techniques. The results of the studies that have been done two cycles are known to increase in reading scores of students were assessed four aspects, namely the aspect of personal consciousness, volition, attention, and aspects of the feelings of pleasure. This study concludes that the approach sinektic the students interest at the rate of two cycles of 62.45 while still using the conventional approach, the numbers increased to 83.49 when students have experienced learning approach to rate hikes sinektic reading the sixth grade students of SDN Dawu 02 at 21.04.Keywords: Interest in reading, short stories, approaches sinektic

Abstract

This  research  is  served  to  describe:  (1)  the  students’  learning activitiesin problem solving techique; (2) students’ courage to pose ideas; (3) students’ ability to share ideas in problem solving technique; (4)  students’  ability  in  having  the  critical  thinking  in  solving  the learning problems. This research covers two cycles, each of which includes  planning,  implementing,  controling,  and  reflecting.  The subject of the research are 32 fifth graders of SD Negeri Kasepuhan Sewon Bantul being taught by problem solving technique to develop their critical thinking and problem solving skill of the Social Science subject. The results show that: (1) the students’ activity develops from 5 active students in pre research stage to 10 in the first cycle; and it becomes 28 in the second cycle; (2) students’ courage to pose ideas develops from 4 courageous students in pre research stage to 15 in the first cycle; and 25 in the second cycle; (3) the ability to share ideas develops from 7 capable students in pre research to 12 in the first cycle, and 26 in the second cycle; (4) the thinking skill develops from 2 skilled students in problem solving in pre research stage to 17 in the first cycle, and 24 in the second cycle. The results of the research recommends that poblem solving technique is efficient in developing students’ activities, critical thinking skill and problem solving skill in the Social Science subject for the fifth graders of SD Negeri Kasepuhan Sewon Bantul. Key words:  Students’  Learning  Activities,  Critical  Thinking  Skill, Problem Solving

Abstract

Language and the speech society can not even be separated to each other, because when there is a language, there will be a speech community and vice-versa. Langauge has even become one of condition of society. The existence and use of the language in society is learned through sociolinguistics, which views language as a means of communication rather than a system alone, bearing varieties in line with the given social domains. On the other hand, the traditional language teaching has regarded language as a system, which entails structuralism models of teaching. In the development of the language teaching methods, language is not merely seen as a system, rather than a communication tool, just as sociolinguistics have suggested. This articles discusses the role of sociolingusitics in the development of teaching models, beginning from the nature of speech community, language function up to sociolinguistics-based language teaching models.Key words: Sociolinguistics, Language Teaching

Abstract

This article is a theoretical study on the implementation of a pragmatic approach in learning speaking skills at school. Pragmatic approach is one of learning approaches that aims to train students to improve their speaking skills at school. This approach focuses on contextual learning speaking skills, particularly in the process of learning at school. Through this approach, students will be brought closer to practical conditions of speaking both orally and in writing. Thus, the learning skills of speaking with a pragmatic approach are very effective in creating active learning, especially in improving their speaking ability in the classroom and outside the classroom.Keywords: pragmatic approach, speaking skills

Abstract

Pedagogik sebagai ilmu pokok dalam pendidikan, jiwa dan isinya agar dapat memenuhi persyaratan landasan konsep dan fungsinya, memerlukan landasan yang berasal dari filsafat. Filsafat mengajukan pertanyaan dan menyelidiki realita dan pengalaman yang banyak terdapat dalam pendidikan. Filsafat dan pendidikan mempunyai hubungan yang erat satu sama lain, karena problema-problema tersebut berada dalam lingkungan dua disiplin ini. Pendidikan dalam pengembangan konsep-konsepnya antara lain menggunakan dasar-dasar dari kedua konsep tersebut yaitu filsafat dan pendidikan. Aliran filsafat pendidikan mencakup naturalisme, idealisme, realisme, pragmatisme, progresivisme, esensialisme, dan perenialisme. Moralitas merupakan seperangkat aturan yang merancang bagaimana hendaknya orang saling memerlakukan satu sama lain, bahwa orang yang rasional akan setuju untuk menerima, demi keuntungan timbal balik, asalkan semua yang lain mengikuti aturan-aturan itu juga. Masalah pokok dari kontrak sosial adalah kalau seseorang atau sekelompok orang itu mampu mempercayai orang lain atau kelompok lain untuk setia pada aturan-aturan, kecuali dalam situasi darurat.Kata Kunci: Filsafat Ilmu, Filsafat Pendidikan, Relativisme Kultural, Filsafat Moral

Abstract

Textbooks have become the main element of teaching and learning process. Studies have been conducted to develop instructional materials for the subject of PKn SD at Elementary School Teacher Training Study Program, but there is still limited textbooks with character content, when character have been debating recently. This research is attempetd to develop textbook of PKn SD with character content, by measuring students’ activity, achievement and response. This research is cunducted by class evaluation research method by applying 4-D model. The subjects of the research are 20 students of 5D and 20 of 5I, PGSD-IKIP PGRI Madiun. The results of the research shows that: the learning activity is good by 77.6% of sctive students; 95% of students achieve threshold level by 80.75; textbook is suitable used in average 83.2% and have positive response against the textbook.Keywords: Textbook, character education, PKn SD.

Abstract

Argumentasi logis perlu digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk melakukan komunikasi dan interaksi antara guru dan siswa. Kegiatan di kelas  mengakibatkan komunikasi dan interaksi yang berkesinambungan atau tidak berkesinambungan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pernyataan yang dilontarkan seorang guru kepada siswa mempunyai nilai kebenaran logis. Nilai kebenaran logis tersebut yang menjadikan kegiatan pembelajaran dapat dapat berlangsung dengan program yang direncakan. Abstract

This research purposes to improve the movements of the fifth graders of the elementary school SD Negeri 1 Panggung Barat Magetan by applying the Gymnastic Video of “Senam Kesegaran Jasmani (SKJ)” 2012. This is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The source of data are the fifth graders of SDN I Panggung Barat Magetan as many as 30.  Data  were  collected  through  tests  and  observation.  They  are qualitatively  described  and  the  percentage  of  the  distribution  is provided. Results  show that  applying the  SKJ  video improved the movements of the fifth graders of SDN I Panggung Barat Magetan as indicated  by  the  tests  on  their  movements  before  and  after  the application   of   the   video.   The   descriptive   qualitative   analysis improvements were visible on the cycle I, II and III in which there were  three  action  meetings.  In  the  first  cycle  it  focused  on  the warming up, core and cooling-down movements. In the final meeting of the first cycle, a test was administered. In the first cycle it found improvement of  30% out of the 30 students i.e. 9 students. In the second cycle was reflection on the first cycle and another movementwas added. In this cycle the emphasis was on the core movements and repeating the warming up and introducing the cooling-down ones. In this final meeting of this cycle, a test was administered and all students took part. The second cycle witnessed improvement of 60%, 19 out of 30 students. The third cycle was a reflection on the second cycle in addition to another movement introduction. This cycle emphasized on the cooling-down movements and repetition on the warming up and core movements. In the final meeting, a test was administered to know whether or not the students improved. All of them participated. In this cycle it was found improvement of 75%, or 23 out of 30 students. However, there were 25 of them who could perform correctly. The percentage,  therefore,  changes  into  80%.  This  is  higher  than  the expected one on the third cycle. It is also revealed that 19.4% or 6 students were not able to perform the gymnastic correctly. Key words: SKJ 2012 Video, Gymnastic Movements

Reog is one of the artistry enough famous from region Ponorogo and known by world society. Values found in artistry Reog Ponorogo presumably necessary are exploration furthermore to can be ingredient for tribe unity matter development and culture in course social science class IV elementary school. With artistry local superiority values implementation existence Reog Ponorogo, supposed student realizes and apply values from region culture permanently respect coalitions taste and sense of belonging towards region culture. This research aims to detect artistry local superiority values Reog Ponorogo that is used to develop tribe unity matter and culture course elementary school. Research data collecting is done gradually that is passes documentation study, observation, and interview. Technique that done gradually (triangulating) this chosen to guarantee data validity. Data is fished from informant that chosen with snowball sampling technique. Taking manner sampling with this technique is done according to related to, sample determination technique at first number little, longer more expand. In first research at first is chosen one or two person but because data to felted not yet enough so researcher looks for another person that can equip data that got from previous person.
