Abstract

This study was aimed to know the effect of the The concept Attainment model of student learning outcomes in the measurement of the material. This research is a quasi-experimental. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling by taking two classes at random that the experimental class and control class. The instrument used was a test of learning outcomes and learning activities. treatment with an experimental class given The concept Attainment model and grade control with conventional learning. The results of this study indicate that the application of The concept Attainment model can increase the average value of each meeting learning activities and student learning outcomes in the subject matter of measurement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran inquiry training berbantuan animasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok Suhu dan Kalor di kelas X semester II di SMA Dharmawangsa Medan T.P 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Dharmawangsa Medan yang terdiri dari 9 kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil 2 kelas yang ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling, yaitu kelas X MIA-5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIA-4 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan masing-masing berjumlah 30 siswa. Intrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar berbentuk essay tes dengan jumlah 8 soal yang sudah divalidkan. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen adalah 24,46 dan nilai nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol adalah  24,13. Setelah pembelajaran selesai diberikan postes dengan hasil rata-rata kelas eksperimen adalah 68,9 dan kelas kontrol adalah 53,76. Dari hasil uji t diperoleh thitung = 7,52 sedangkan ttabel = 2,002. Karena thitung > ttabel (7,52  > 2,002) maka Ha diterima. Dengan menggunakan uji t diperoleh maka dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh model pembelajaran inquiry training berbantuan animasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok Suhu dan Kalor di kelas X semester II SMA Dharmawangsa Medan T.P 2016/2017.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of problem based learning models for the outcomes of student learning in Characteristics of Substance subject in the first half semester of class VII SMP Negeri 3 Percut Sei Tuan year 2016/2017. This study is a quasi- experimental design by using two group pretest - posttest desain and using odd semester students of class VII SMP Negeri 3 Percut Sei Tuan Deli Derdang as population, which consists of nine parallel classes. The study take two classes as samples by using Cluster Random Sampling technique. The selected sample is class VI1-6 as experiment class dan class VII-1 as the control class with total 35 students in each class. Result data in the study is collected using essay test with total ten questions. The questions which will be used as research instrument is used after content validation process, observation sheet, and hypothesis test using t test. The results showed the average pretest score of experiment class was 33.77 with a standard deviation 5.87 and the average pretest score of control class was 32.83 with a standard deviation 5,52. Outcomes data after the treatment (post-test) in experiment class is 78.34 as average score and a standard deviation 8.69 which classified as high category; and outcomes data in control class is 64.60 as average score and a standard deviation 11.42. From the statistical test, the study obtained tcoum = 5,56 > ttabie = 1,99, a = 0.05. Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, so it can be concluded that the hypothesis "there is no effect of problem based learning model to the learning outcomes of students in the characteristics of the substance subject in class VII SMP Negeri 3 Percut Sei Tuan" is accepted.

Abstract

Studies conducted to determine the effect of learning model Problem Based Learning on learning outcomes of students in the subject matter kinematics of rectilinear motion in the first semester of grade X SMAN 1 Sunggal T.P 2016/2017. This type of research is quasi-experimental. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling that class as an experimental class X3 and X4 class as a class contro. The instrument used is the achievement test and observation activities. The average value of pretest kleas 23.90 experiment and control class 21.33. The second data were normally distributed and homogeneous class. T test results obtained pretest thitung <ttable (1.48881 <1.997) H0 accepted means initial ability of students in the experimental class with students in the control class. Grades given experimental treatment with a learning model Problem Based Learning and classroom control with conventional learning models. Postes given on the second class with an average yield of 68.52 experimental class and control class 62.09. And the average value of the entire student activity during the learning with the learning model Problem Based Learning is 9.01 including a very active category. While the average value of the entire student activity during the learning with conventional learning model is 7.94 including the active category. Postes data processing results obtained t> t table (8.806> 1.668) Ha accepted which means no influence of the use of learning model Problem Based Learning in the subject matter kinematics of rectilinear motion in the first semester of grade X SMAN 1 Sunggal T.P 2016/2017.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kompetensi dasar Fisika dan aktivitas siswa SMP, melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pembelajaran,  melibatkan 40  orang siswa kelas VIII – 1 SMP Amir Hamzah Medan. Kompetensi dasar Fisika yang disasar meliputi aspek kognitif, psikomotor dan afektif. Data tentang kompetensi kognitif dikumpulkan dengan metode tes, menggunakan pemahaman konsep, data tentang kompetensi psikomotor dan kualitas aktivitas pembelajaran siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi menggunakan pedoman observasi, sedangkan data tentang kompetensi afektif siswa dikumpulkan dengan metode kuesioner menggunakan angket. Semua data penelitian kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menentukan rererata masing-masing data dan dijustifikasi pada masing-masing indikator. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi dasar Fisika siswa dapat ditingkatkan.
