<![CDATA[Issues to be discussed include how to improve science learning achievement of material structureand function of plant parts in the fourth grade students of SDN Babadan Bonang District of Demakusing STAD method with the application of video media. The subjects were fourth grade students ofSDN Babadan Bonang District of Demak district by the number of students 23 students. This studyuses classroom action research design with two cycles. Each cycle consists of action planning,action, observation, and reflection. Results of preliminary tests before (prasiklus) the averagevalue reached 59.57. This value is still less so held the first cycle measures the average valueobtained was 68.70 dnn class has increased very significantly in the second cycle of 80.00]]>

<![CDATA[One of learning models alternative in the Curriculum 2013 is Discovery Learning (DL).Fact on the field that a teacher has never developed the DL model. The activity and students'knowledge are low. Discovery Learning model encourage students to be active in the discoveryactivities. The media that can help students in communicating their findings were Powerpointmedia. The purpose of this study is to produce and test the validity, practicality, and effectivenesson DL learning tools assisted TPI. The Research used design research and development (R & D).The results showed that the DL learning tools assisted TPI valid, practical, and effective. The toolswere declared valid with good and best categories. The tools were declared practical by gettingpositive response of students, and teacher gave a good response. The tools were declared effectiveby the student activity on both small and wide scale testing class are in the good and bestcategories. There is the influence of DL activity on knowledge. Classical achievement of small andwide scale testing class reach KKM (2,66). Knowledge improvement of small and wide scaletesting class in the middle category.]]>

<![CDATA[This study is aimed to describe the function of politeness utterances used by nursemaid increating the character of street children in the Children Nations Shelter (RSAB)Soegijapranata Social Foundation (YSS) Semarang. This research is a qualitative descriptivestudy which designed with pragmatic approach triggered by Leech (1983) by basing its analysisfooting on the language functions (language functions) expressed concretely in speech acts. Theapproach is focused on the analysis of the utterances situation goal-oriented, linking a set ofprinciples conversation with their functions. <![CDATA[This research is aimed to develop the mathematics learning materials quadrilateral with amodel-based Multimedia TAPPS, so that it becomes a valid, practical and effective learningdevice. The study is also aimed to determine the increase of mathematical disposition. Thedevelopment of learning device is done by using 4-D Thiagarajan model, which has been modifiedwhich include Define, Design, and Develop. The types of learning devices which developed aresyllabus, lesson plans, worksheets, and Multimedia. The validity of the learning device isdetermined based on the expert validation. The Practicality of learning device can be seen fromthe response of the students, teachers' responses and management teacher learning in theclassroom. The effectiveness of learning can be obtained by doing a test device.]]>

<![CDATA[Research Approach Learning Through Work Poster In Introduce Content GlobalizationOn Civics Lesson For Students Grade IV SD 1 Ngembalrejo Interest problem in this researchthere are three that are the focus does skills of teachers in managing learning civics with posterwork approach in the introduction of globalization for students SD 1 Ngembalrejo Kudus,Knowing students' activity in learning civics with the approach of the work of the posters in theintroduction of globalization for elementary students SD 1 Ngembalrejo Kudus, Exposing thelearning outcomes of students in learning civics approach works poster in the introduction ofglobalization for elementary students 1 Ngembalrejo.Results of action research showed an increase learning outcomes Civics approaches tolearning through the work of the poster to introduce the material globalization. Improvedlearning outcomes is proved by research data cycle I and cycle II. This is evidenced by theincrease in the average value of pre cycle class until the second cycle. The value in the pre-cycleevaluation results using data from test scores were pure. Based on these data, the known valueof the average student with classical completeness 60.45 40.91%, there were 13 students whohave not completed and 9 students who pass. Teachers' teaching skills in managing the class oncivics learning approaches to learning through the work of the poster to introduce the materialin the first cycle of globalization gained 80.17% in the percentage of both criteria, on thesecond cycle increased to 84.91% with good criterion. Activities of students in participatingCivics Education materials globalization approaches to learning through the work of the posterto introduce the material in the first cycle of globalization gained 75.28% at both criteria,increased in the second cycle into 84.66% are in the very good Civics criteria approachlearning through the work of the poster to introduce the material globalization can improvelearning outcomes in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The increase in the cognitiveaspects seen in the first cycle to the second cycle is the average value of 69.55 rose to 77.05, theaspect of affective seen from the first cycle to the second cycle of 62.5% ie sufficient criteriarose to 84.43%, with good criterion, while the aspect of psychomotor seen the first cycle to thesecond cycle of 56.02% is sufficient criteria increased to 84.21% at both criteria.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is a development that aims to develop teaching materials that meet thecriteria and quality. The teaching materials as supporting lectures statistics in order to improvelearning in the classroom so that students have an understanding and skills in statistical skillsindependently. Textbook development procedure consists of four phases: planning, organizing,implementation and evaluation. Textbook material in accordance with the lesson plans thestatistics shown by the example and the same practice with SPSS. Results of the assessment of thereviewer obtained both categories with an average score of 38.41 as seen from all aspects, namely,the aspect of the writing approach, the concept of truth, the depth and breadth of the concept,clarity sentence, linguistic, evaluation, feasibility, structure handouts, physical penampila bookinstructional and reference library. This textbook memeiliki high criteria in truth the concept andstructure of the handout. The development of this textbook in accordance with the syllabus,suitability tests (sample) describing the material, the components of a complete book compiled.Practicability test is done so that the student can pass judgment textbooks with material tailored toability. Practicability test results by the students gain an average score of 92.5 which indicatesvery good or practical to use as a reference source in the course of independent learning statistics]]>

<![CDATA[The Increase in the Narrative Writing Skills Using Audiovisual Media and Method ofQuantum Learning (Classroom Action Research on the students of Class XA Islamic HighSchool TBS Kudus Academic Year 2013/2014). The aims of this research are to: (1) improve thequality of the learning process to write narrative using audiovisual media and quantum learningmethod XA grade student of MA (Islamic High School) Tasywiquth Thullab Salafiyyah (TBS)Kudus and (2) improving the writing narrative skills using audiovisual media and methods ofquantum learning XA grade student of MA (Islamic High School) TBS. The Method used thisresearch use qualitative research methods, in the form of Classroom Action Research. Subjectof this research in Indonesian Teachers and student of Class X A a Islamic High Scholl (MA)TBS. Datta was collected by way of: observation, interviews, review of documents, andnarrative writing skills test. Test the validity of using triangulation of data sources andtriangulation methods. The research proces was conducted in two cycles, each consisting offour stages: (1) preparation, (2) action, (3) observation and evaluation, (4) analysis andreflection.The results are: (1) the aplication of audiovisual media and quantum learning methodscan improve the quality of learning to write narrative on the class X A Islamic High Scholl(MA) TBS Kudus, (2) the use of audiovisual media and quantum learning methods to improvethe skills narrative writing in the class X A Islamic High Scholl (MA) TBS Kudus. This can be seen with the increase in students activity, student attention to the teacher's explanations, as well as the independence of student when writing narrative. In addition, the average studentwho experienced complete learned from the first cycle an second cycle also incresed. the abilityto write narrative essays of students increased, the average value of the first cycle 73.46, whilein the second cycle increased to 80.89.]]>

<![CDATA[Sebelum dilaksanakannya penelitian tindakan kelas ini, kualitas pembelajaran PAI padasiswa kelas III rendah. Kondisi ini disebabkan karena metode pembelajaran yang digunakan olehguru masih konvensional, siswa hanya duduk dan mengamati penjelasan guru terhadap materi,tanpa ada pengalaman langsung. Metode card sort merupakan metode dalam pembelajaran untukmengajarkan konsep, penggolongan sifat serta fakta tentang suatu objek atau informasi. Metode inisangat menarik untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran PAI, sehingga siswa menjadi aktif dantermotivasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Kondisi awal pretest menunjukkan hanya 42,85% siswayang mencapai KKM dengan rata-rata kelas 63. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini menunjukkanadanya peningkatan keterampilan guru, aktivitas belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa pada matapelajaran PAI. Pada siklus I, rerata prosentase keterampilan guru 70% dengan kategori baik, danmeningkat pada siklus II sebanyak 95% dengan kategori sangat baik. Prosentase aktivitas siswapada siklus I sebanyak 47% dengan kategori cukup dan meningkat pada siklus II sebanyak 76 %dengan kategori baik. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I mencapai 71,42% (15 dari 21 siswamencapai KKM) dalam kategori baik meningkat pada siklus II naik 28,58 % menjadi 100%,sedangkan indikator keberhasilannya adalah 90% siswa mencapai KKM.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was motivated by the learning and interest of students of class V to followthe teaching Civics is still lacking. This is evidenced only 7 students from 21 students who meetKKM (65). The subject of this research is class student of SDN Babadan VA 2015/2016 school yearsome 21 people. Results of research on (a) Interests studied before action is taken by 38%,increasing to 85% in cycle 1, and by 90% in cycle 2. That means there is an increased influencesignificantly by 52%. (B) Results prasiklus study gained an average of 54.75%, increased to78.40% in cycle 1, and 84.17% in cycle 2. That means there is an increased influence significantlyby 29.42%. Furthermore, to complete learn at prasiklus obtained figures by 47% increasing to81% the first cycle and 100% duty cycle II. This means there is an increased influence significantlyby 53%. The conclusion that contextual learning with Community Learning techniques canincrease interest and learning outcomes of Civic Education.]]>
