Abstract

The purposes of this study are: (1) to know the role of parents, teachers, peers, and society in the life of a child, 2) to know the development of imagination in children, 3) to know the social environment factor can influence the child's imagination. The formulation of the issue is whether the social environment affects the child's imagination? This research is descriptive quantitative research methods of correlation. X variable in this study is the social environment, the variable Y is Imagination. The population in this study is third grade students of State Elementary School. The result of the study is for homogeneity, comparing Fcount with Ftable the distribution Ftable, 0123<1.94 means homogeneous. To test for normality using K-S test, the social environment variables in mind that the value of quintile testers with α= 0.05 and n= 30 is 0.242, the highest value of 0.156. Ho accepted means Ha rejected due 0.156<0.242. The conclusion of the study is the normal distribution of the social environment at α= 0.05. The variable imagination of the students known that the quintile testers with α= 0.05 and n= 30 is 0.242, the highest value of 0.197. Ho accepted means Ha rejected due 0.197<0.242. The conclusion of the students imagination with normal distribution at α= 0.05. For a simple linear statistical test with product moment knowable Y=53.67+1.03X, of F=0.127 and Ftable =5.79, Fcount <Ftable is the linear regression. Abstract

The core of art is aesthetics, then art education is actually aesthetic education. Aesthetics itself is like a building, it has: roof, wall and hallway (foundation). As a roof, aesthetics give the spirit of art; The aesthetic wall gives themes and contents of art creation, and as aesthetic hall is the goal and background of art creation. Aesthetics are built on ideas, ideas and the purpose of creating works of art According to the results of research on the Art of Public Space in Yogyakarta (2015) shows that the aesthetic building of artwork has moved from the position, from the work to the connoisseur. The move is the latest (Contemporary) art phenomenon, resulting from the thinking of teenagers' paralogism and antihistorianism. This antagonistic, recent development is not anticipated by the learning of Arts Education in public schools.

Abstract

This study aims at investigating the effects of Student Team Achievement Division Cooperative Learning (STAD CL) at eleventh grade students of Senior High School 1 Kudus and finding solutions and strategies to make teachers have a formed opinion of the use of STAD in delivering the subject matter while teaching to make more it effective. This study was experimental research. The population of this study was the eleventh year students of Senior High School 1 Kudus in the Academic Year 2015/2016. There were five classes from XI-A to XI -E. Each class had 35 students, so the total population were 175 students. Meanwhile the samples of this study were eighty students from four classes which were selected based on the historical factors and pre-existing ability. 80 students were choosen to be a sample, 40 as experimental group and 40 as control group. Both groups were given the pre-test to measure students' reading skill and after several times of treatments, both groups were given the post-test.The results of the study showed that there was significant difference between the means of experimental and control groups on the reading achievement. Hence, STAD CL was more effective than conventional in the way that mostly students developed their reading performance in the classroom. Further study may also be conducted to determine whether teachers’ use of STAD CL appears to reduce student anxiety and stress in the classroom to improve students’ reading or even other skills, retention, and student-teacher relationships.AbstractPenelitian ini bertujuan
