Abstract

This study aims to find a model of vocational partnership development with Business World (BW)/Industrial World (IW) that is suitable to be applied in Indonesia. The model that bridges the partnership relationship between vocational schools and BW/IW is developed based on factual conditions in the field, existing theoretical models and focuses on the concept of link and match between the relevant institutions. Vocational school discussion forums and BW/IW are held as a means of brainstorming between stakeholders. Data collection through open questionnaires is used to hear directly the opinions of stakeholders regarding the expected partnership model. The basis of the model which is used as the basis of the foundation is industrial training, Dual System Education (DSE), Teaching Factory and Work Based Learning. The Vocational School in general provides information on cooperation undertaken which requires open recruitment standards to enter the BW/IW which are clear, legal umbrella regulations from the government. The following models are produced by Industrial cooperation with Vocational Schools, the cooperation model includes three aspects: 1) the needs in BW/IW, 2) the regional ecosystems produced by BW/IW with vocational schools, and 3) the needs of the vocational schools learning process.

Abstract

The making of electric cars in POLSUB is intended to be further developed by the junior level and as a medium for applying the electrical system to SULA electric cars. The right method for applying the electrical system to Sula's electric car16 is by reading the wiring diagram. Wiring diagram reading is useful to produce a neatly arranged wiring system and can reduce the obstacles contained in the electrical system in electric cars Sula. The results obtained from electrical installations on electric cars Sula produce a final voltage of 49.79 and watt hours 53,2 in a distance of 10 Km. From these results it can be concluded that the electric car is included in the category of energy saving.

Abstract

Currently the automotive sector was equipped with an electronic control system. Thus, students' understanding of electronic systems is crucial. Streamlining the process, in Automotive Engineering study Program in enginering faculty of Universitas Negeri Padang has Electrical and Electronics course. This electrical and electronics course consists of 2 theoretical and 1 practicum credit. Then to expedite the process, a practical module has been provided from the lecturer course team. Science enhancement also influences electronics, so the learning modules require revision of the material, format, and packaging in accordance with the development of field technology applications. In this study focuses on the application of formative evaluation which is expected to provide input for the revision of teaching materials. After the analysis, it can be concluded that the electricity and electronics practicum module as a whole is good, but there are parts that must be improved and added as: material, formulas, examples of data processing, interesting designs, and presented by using e-modules.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the use of E-learning with lesson activities can improve the learning outcomes of vocational education students in electrical engineering. Especially the class of 2017 who took microcontroller courses in odd semester 2019/2020 academic year. When compared with conventional learning used in learning. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method with a quasi experimental approach. In the study conducted by providing treatment of the relevant research subjects using the pretest-posttest control group design experimental design. The results of the study found that the increase in learning outcomes with E-learning learning media with lesson activities was higher than the normalized gain index value of 0.36 when compared with student learning outcomes with conventional learning with the normalized gain index of 0.26. In increasing the learning outcomes of PVTE students by utilizing E-learning learning media lesson activities are better than increasing student learning outcomes by utilizing conventional learning media. T-Test Test Results prove that student learning outcomes using E-learning are better than student learning outcomes that apply conventional learning.
