<![CDATA[Proboscis monkey is mascot animal of South Borneo that is going through population decrease and considered as endangered animal. There is required effort with aim to preserving these animals. One of the conservation programs that can be implemented is nature based-tourism development with proboscis monkey as the object. In order to support this program, a proboscis monkey conservation based-ecotourism is designed with aim to educate about importance of proboscis monkey preservation. The designed object spread on two points, that is Muara Kanoco Village and Curiak Island that had been appointed by SBI as ecotourism area. This ecotourism emphasize on educative concept with human-nature symbiosis method. Educative concept is making the nature as learning space, while human-nature symbiosis is making human and nature have a good reciprocal relationship..]]>

<![CDATA[The graveyard of Sultan Suriansyah is the graveyard of the first Banjar King who converted to Islam and helped raise Islam in the South Kalimantan. This graveyard is one of the religious tours that is crowded with people from various regions. However, not many people know the history this place has. Therefore, there was a plan to redesign the graveyard area of the Sultan Suriansyah which would preserve history and become an educational area for those who visit here. To realize the redesign of the graveyard area of the Sultan Suriansyah, a disprogramming method is used, with the application of the concept of dimensional space in the zoning that divides the area and provides space to maintain and show the history of the place to the people who visit the area.]]>

<![CDATA[Banjarmasin as the capital city of South Kalimantan currently has excellent economic growth potential. The potential is utilized by the government with the Banjarbakula Metropolitan Area program that unites Banjarmasin - Banjarbaru - Banjar Regency - Barito Kuala Regency - Tanah Laut Regency into one national strategic area. To realize this Metropolitan Area program, transportation facilities such as terminals that can accommodate various modes of transportation are needed for better accessibility between cities or regencies, especially Barito Kuala Regency. However, terminals are often to have some problems such as conflicting circulation either human circulation or vehicle circulation as well as less integrated function. To solve that problem, Alalak Type B Terminal using Connectivity concept that focus on good connectivity on circulation and accessibility. To combine these connectivity, superimposition methods are eventually used to integrate various circulation as well as function into one whole unit to create well-organized circulation without conflict and with integrated function.]]>

<![CDATA[The design of the Used Goods Center in Banjarbaru City was motivated by the increased production of waste in Banjarbaru City after the COVID-19 pandemic and the proliferation of secondhand shops selling illegally imported used goods. The problems faced are in the form of many used goods stores that provide an inadequate shopping experience so that they do not attract visitors. The design method used is the Architectural Program by managing information and then analyzing the design to produce the right design. The design concept uses a One Stop Shopping Experience which provides a complete shopping experience, starting from selling on a consignment system, buying, and trying used goods in one facility. The furniture design uses the concept of upcycling waste as a solution to reduce waste production in Banjarbaru City. The result of the design is an elongated two-story building surrounded by old window and door facades. The building area is 1875m2 facing north with two main functions, namely a used goods service center and a used goods shopping area.]]>

<![CDATA[The new normal disruption causes changes that change the behavior of the tourism landscape. These changes in tourism have made the trend of 'back to nature' travel safer and not cause additional additions. Therefore, tourism needs to consider the aspect of destruction. Therefore, the government and tourism-related institutions encourage sustainable tourism programs that involve three main aspects, namely environmental, social, and economic. Nature tourism has the potential to be developed into sustainable tourism by raising the concept of ecotourism. South Kalimantan has tourism with abundant natural resources that can be used as ecotourism such as the Pulau Pinus area. In the design of the Ecotourism of Pulau Pinus Area in Banjar Regency, a sustainable approach is used to support the Butterfly Effect design concept by making Pulau Pinus a sustainable tourism through sustainable development by applying materiality and zero waste to create efficiency and sustainable value.]]>

<![CDATA[As part of the Banjarbaru City development zone, North Banjarbaru District is planned as an economic industrial area engaged in commercial activities. The development of economic support areas is a means to optimize environmentally sound areas. Connectivity between the building and the surrounding spaces will be very relevant in helping to support the overall performance of the building by optimizing the use of contextual methods in it. The result of this design gave birth to a three-story building with one separate building to give a spacious and comfortable impression, so that it is in line with the concept of Healing Space and Living Wall as a façade support system including outdoor space processing, as well as the procurement of recreational facilities based on bioclimatic architecture.]]>

<![CDATA[The area Banua Halat Sacred Mosque in Tapin Regency, which has degraded its environment due to inadequate facilities and infrastructure services, and does not have a forum for development and introduction to religious and cultural history, it is feared that cultural heritage will be damaged, couple with the case of the COVID-19 pandemic which hampers activities. Baayun Maulid Nabi Muhammad, which is held every 12 rabiul awal every year, reduces the existence of areas. With the development of cultural heritage that elevates historical and cultural values, it will have an impact on the environment and the surrounding community. The revitalization of the mosque area is carried out with the aim of rediscovering the potential that has or was owned or should have been owned by the sacred Banua Halat mosque. Trough the method of forming the area through the concept of God to express directly the relationship between religion and culture produces clarity of form and space, shape, and order by increasing the vitality of the area through service network facilities and infrastructure, as well as developing the value of the location of the cultural heritage area. <![CDATA[Ma'had Bakkah is a Salafi boarding school in Martapura that has grown organically sporadically following the need for space and land acquisition. Sporadic developments resulted in the inefficient arrangement of building masses and counterproductive circulation of the daily activities of students so the area needed to be redesigned. The redesign of Ma'had Bakkah uses a post-occupancy evaluation method by making student behavior the main study. The initial stage of post-occupancy evaluation is to collect data on existing assets and behavior on a macro and micro basis. The data obtained are the existing site, function, form, and the counterproductive level of the existing circulation based on three variables; steps, duration (seconds), and lines of reading the Qur'an. The set data was analyzed to produce the concept of the site, function, form, and value of the existing efficiency of Ma'had Bakkah. The results are redesigned concepts on-site, function, and form with the acquisition of post-redesigned circulation efficiency of 48% of the pre-redesigned circulation in the variable meter, steps, duration (seconds), and lines of reading the Qur'an.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of Banjar dance in Banjarbaru is fully supported by dance activists, as proven by the frequent encounters of dance training, dance creation, and performances in several public places. However, inadequate facilities and infrastructure and the lack of regeneration of dancers are threats that can shift the existence of Banjar dance. In an effort to accommodate and preserve Banjar dance in Banjarbaru, it is necessary to design a dance center with the main target of dance activists and the younger generation of Banjarbaru city. Through the concept of manyaru (calling) with a metaphorical architectural approach, the elements, traits, and philosophy of Banjar dance are transformed into architectural aspects, namely circulation, form, to elements in open space so that the Banjar dance center is created which is contemporary and has a distinctive Banjar design image. This is expected to attract the interest and attention of the younger generation and can be a space for activities that are suitable with the characteristics of the millennial generation and Banjarbaru dance activists.]]>
