Abstract

This paper attempts to answer the question of how the political participation of the Bima-Dompu family harmony community in building local political communication in Kupang City. The research method used is a qualitative approach. This study concludes that the political participation of the Bima-Dompu Community at the time of the regional head election of Kupang City still tends to be based on one-stop instructions where the community leader determines their political attitude.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the role of women in meeting economic needs during the corona pandemic. This research is motivated by the difficulties experienced by some communities in meeting the needs of families caused by the emergence of the corona pandemic. This research was conducted using qualitative method, data obtained through observation, interview, and documentation. Field phenomena are analyzed using sociological and phenomenological approaches. The results showed that First, the role of women in meeting needs during the pandemic contributed in increasing family income and improving family welfare during the pandemic. Second, the purpose of working women is to earn wages that are used to increase income in order to meet the needs that relieve the burden of husbands. The income earned from working women is used to meet needs such as children's education, adequate kitchen needs and community.

Abstract

Marriage is the executor of human nature processes not only based on biological needs between men and women that are considered valid. In Islamic marriage law contains elements of a psychiatric and spiritual nature covering the life of the inner being, humanity and truth. Marriage is necessary to form a happy and prosperous family. But the reality is not so. Where a child is forced to marry by a parent without the consent of either party. Marriages that occur due to insistence or pressure are difficult to realize a harmonious family.  The results showed that the factors that cause forced marriage that occurred in the village of Ulaweng Riaja Amali subdistrict include: Strengthening family relationships, the existence of habits of matchmaking, factors of noble descent, the stigma of women who do not practice, the lack of knowledge of parents. The impacts are negative impacts such as domestic violence, parents interfering in the child's household, psychological disorders, inharmonious domestic life, and leading to divorce.

Abstract

This paper tries to examine that all religions essentially teach the importance of harmony. Islam, for example, calls on all human beings regardless of ethnicity, race, and intergroup to get to know each other. The synergy between the values of teachings in each religion with local cultural values is able to foster harmony between religious communities in Toraja. The local cultural value of the Tongkonan traditional house is Ma'tongkonan or a meeting held by the family in discussing and solving all problems, this is in line with the values taught in every religion.

Abstract

The results showed that, the forms of body shaming experienced are face shaming, fat shaming and skinny shaming. The impacts of body shaming behavior include negative impacts, namely going on a strict diet, causing discomfort in the victim, avoiding the social environment and affecting social relationships, and lowering confidence.  The positive impact of body shaming is to be a motivation to the victim as well as to take better care of the body. Sorority's view of body shaming behavior, as a Muslim should avoid reproach because denouncing acts are prohibited in religion and can cause adverse effects especially to victims and divisions among others in addition to denouncing each other just as we denounce the creation of Allah swt.
