Keywords: Teacher Strategy, Speech Ability, Child Speech Delay Teacher strategy is a way that teachers do in learning to develop the speech skills of speech delay children. The ability to speak the child is to pronounce vocabulary, sentences correctly and communicate. Speech delay is a delay in the level of speech development not appropriate to the age of the child. This study aims to find out the strategies of teachers in schools in developing speech delay children's speech skills. This research is qualitative research that is a case study. Data collection is done by observation and interview. The subjects of the study were the principal, the therapist teacher, two classroom teachers, and two parents. Data on teacher strategy and child speech development were obtained through observation, to complete the data conducted interviews with the principal, therapist teacher, two parents of the child who speech delay and also two class teachers. The research data was analyzed with qualitative descriptive techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on observation and interview data, the results of the study can be concluded, namely teacher communication strategy, environmental therapy, speech therapy and kayang method. The teacher's communication strategy is to invite the child to speak, clear words and intonation slowly, direct, express with speech and clarify what to do if the child uses sign language. Environmental therapy strategy is for children to play and interact with other teachers and friends, stimulating the child to socialize with the surrounding environment. Speech therapy is the teacher trains the child to speak, instructs the pronunciation of vocabulary and trains the child's speech motor while playing. Kayang method is done that the teacher guides and teaches the child with compassion, understands the child when talking, observes the decline and progress of the child's development. Abstrak. Strategi guru merupakan cara yang dilakukan guru dalam pembelajaran untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara anak speech delay. Kemampuan berbicara anak merupakan mengucapkan kosakata, kalimat secara benar dan berkomunikasi. Speech delay adalah keterlambatan tingkat perkembangan berbicara tidak sesuai dengan usia anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi guru di sekolah dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara anak speech delay. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah, guru terapis, dua guru kelas, dan dua orangtua. Data tentang strategi guru dan perkembangan berbicara anak diperoleh melalui observasi, untuk melengkapi data tersebut dilakukan wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, guru terapis, dua orangtua dari anak yang speech delay dan juga dua guru kelas. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kualitatif yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan data observasi dan wawancara dapat disimpulkan hasil penelitian yaitu strategi komunikasi guru, terapi lingkungan, terapi bicara dan metode kayang. Strategi komunikasi guru yaitu mengajak anak berbicara, kata-kata jelas dan intonasi pelan, mengarahkan, mengungkapkan dengan ucapan dan memperjelas apa yang dilakukan jika anak menggunakan bahasa isyarat. Strategi terapi lingkungan yaitu anak bermain dan berinteraksi dengan guru dan teman yang lainnya, menstimulasi anak bersosial dengan lingkungan sekitarnya. Terapi bicara yaitu guru melatih anak berbicara, menginstruksikan pengucapan kosakata dan melatih motorik bicara anak sambil bermain. Metode kayang yang dilakukan yaitu guru membimbing dan mengajarkan anak dengan kasih sayang, memahami anak ketika berbicara, mengobservasi kemunduran dan kemajuan perkembangan anak.
