Abstract

Didactical Design Research (DDR) is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. Aim to make learning design in order to minimize the difficulties of students in Pascal's Law. The population in this research is class X MAN Cililin, while a sampling technique is purposive sampling. The first step for know the student’s learning difficulties in Pascal's Law with knowing Learning Obstacle which this research only focused on epistemology obstacle, so the students of class XI MAN Cililin who had studied Pascal's Law given five numbers essay. From the student’s answers obtained data the student’s learning difficulties in Pascal's Law. From the difficulty of the data, created learning design be adapted with the student’s learning difficulties in Pascal's Law. The design is implemented always improved in every meeting. This is done, and the design can be made better, so that student’s learning difficulties in Pascal's Law can be minimized.

Abstract

According  to preliminary results Karya Pembangunan 2 Bandung, the average score test critical thinking skill of students lesson in physics are low, namely 44,80. One of alternatives that can be used in improved the skills of critical thinking students is by applying a  Brain Based Learning (BBL). Research aims to understand learning use the model BBL and the increase in critical thinking skill students to the matter effort  and energy. Methods used in this research is pre-experimental design, with the design one-group pretest-posttest .The sample is class XI MIA  which consisted of 25 people were chosen in using a technique sampling saturated. The results of the study showed the average all meeting activity teachers of 90,27 % and activity students 89,57 % are including the very good. In addition there has been increasing critical thinking skill students on effort matter and energy with a rise of 0,62 of medium category. Thus, Brain Based Learning’s model (BBL) can be used as alternatives in improved the skills of critical thinking of students to the matter effort and energy.

Abstract

The learning process is inseparable from the interaction between the teacher, students, and subject matter. Learning is said to be good if it can describe or express learning activities in totality. One approach that can reveal learning in totality is the Subject Material Pedagogy (PMS). PMS considers that learning is a phenomenon of discourse that is able to teach subject matter in a teachable (easily taught) and accessible (easily accessible) format for students that contain intelligible, plausible, and fruitful criteria. The purpose of this study is to determine the intelligible, plausible, and fruitful criteria and the relationship between the three in learning business and energy. The method used in this research is to use the discourse analysis method. This research was conducted in MAN 2 Garut with a sample of class X MIA 4 students. The results showed that the intelligible criteria were 60%, the plausible criteria were 20%, the fruitful criteria were 12%, and without the response were 8%. The relationship between intelligible, plausible, and fruitful criteria on business and energy learning shows that students can reach the fruitful criteria if the students have reached the intelligible and plausible criteria.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan di SMA Negeri 13 Garut, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada materi suhu dan kalor masih di bawah KKM yaitu sebesar 69,23. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Visualization Auditory Kinestetic (VAK). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model VAK pada materi suhu dan kalor  serta peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi suhu dan kalor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi-experimental design, dengan desain pretest posttest control design.  Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas X MIA 3 dan X MIA 5, setiap kelas berjumlah 37 orang yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata seluruh pertemuan aktivitas guru kelas eksperimen sebesar 87,43%  dan aktivitas siswa  81,80% % yang termasuk pada kategori sangat baik pada kelas kontrol aktivitas guru  74,35% dan aktivitas siswa 65,95%. Selain itu terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi suhu dan kalor pada berbagai ranah .Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran VAK dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Hasil studi pendahuluan di SMAN Jatinangor menunjukkan bahwa kurangnya minat baca dan kesulitan dalam memahami istilah fisika serta minimnya keinginan peserta didik untuk mencari hubungan pembelajaran fisika dengan lingkungan sekitarnya sehingga kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik masih rendah. Rata-rata kemampuan literasi sains pada materi Gelombang Elektromagnetik ditunjukkan pada tes awal sebesar 34,36%. Salah satu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT pada materi gelombang elektromagnetik adalah model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT terhadap literasi sains peserta didik dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan literasi sains peserta didik melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttes Design. Populasi dari penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X-2 dengan jumlah sampel 35 orang. Hasil dari penelitian: 1) Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT terkategori baik dengna rata-rata aktivitas guru sebesar 91% dan rata-rata aktivitas peserta didik sebesar 89%. 2) Literasi sains peserta didik mengalami peningkatan diperoleh hasil Zhitung (4,86) > Ztabel (1,65). Besarnya peningkatan literasi sains peserta didik dapat dilihat dari rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,62 terkategori sedang.
