Abstract

This study aimed to determine the role of employee satisfaction in mediating the compensation to employee performance carried on weaving company Widhi Sri, by involving all employees of the company totaling 61 persons as respondents. This study was conducted with a census approach, therefore, it involved the whole company's employees as respondents. The collecting of the data in this study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The data of the study were processed by the method of Partial Least Square (PLS), through a program named SmartPLS 2.0 M3, at the significance level of 0.05 (5%). The results of this study found that compensation and employee satisfaction provided a positive and significant influence on employee performance. The effect occurred by compensating for the employee performance without the involvement of employee satisfaction was at 0.315, it was lower than the influence caused by compensation to employee performance by involving employee satisfaction, which was equal to 0.640. Therefore, it meant that employee satisfaction was able to mediate compensation to employee performance.

Abstract

Gaya kepemimpinan adalah cara memberikan arahan, menerapkan strategi, dan memotivasi individu untuk mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan. Gaya kepemimpinan direplikasi dalam sikap dan perilaku tetapi pada gilirannya adalah hasil dari interaksi yang kompleks antara cara individu berpikir dan merasakan. Para peneliti menyoroti beragam pendekatan / gaya kepemimpinan yang didasarkan pada asumsi dan teori yang berbeda. Seiring berjalannya waktu, para analis telah bekerja untuk mengembangkan berbagai model, teori dan asumsi mengenai gaya kepemimpinan. Inti dari penelitian mereka adalah untuk menguraikan efektivitas kepemimpinan dalam organisasi/perusahaan termasuk pembentukan otoritas, mendorong rasa tanggung jawab, meminimalisasi dan mengatasi masalah karyawan dalam konteks situasi yang sudah berlaku. Dalam berbagai penelitian, di antara banyak gaya kepemimpinan, maka dua gaya kepemimpinan menjadi jauh lebih menonjol yaitu kepemimpinan transformasional dan transaksional. Kedua gaya ini telah dianalisis dalam berbagai sektor sosial-ekonomi dan akademik yang berbeda dengan keunggulannya masing-masing. Saat ini, kedua ditelaah dalam berbagai situasi yang berbeda serta hubungannya dengan kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

The rapid development of the hospitality business in Bali has led to increasingly fierce competition among hoteliers. This encourages every hotel business competing to provide the best facilities and services to maintain the continuity of its business. However, this is highly dependent on the good and bad performance of the service of the employees towards hotel consumers. Employee performance is influenced by a number of factors, including the work culture and work motivation of each employee. This research aims to determine the effect of work culture and employee motivation on the performance of non-star hotel employees in Denpasar-Bali. This research was supported by 100 randomly selected employees at 25 non-star hotels in Denpasar-Bali. Data collection is done by conducting direct interviews with prepared questionnaire guidelines. Furthermore, for the data collected, the analysis is carried out using the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results of data analysis show that work culture has a significantly positive effect on the employee work motivation, and likewise the work motivation has a significantly positive effect on the employee performance. On the other hand, the work culture shows a more significantly positive influence on the employee performance. Based on this, it can be said that the work motivation has a role as mediating the relationship between the work culture and the employee performance partially.

Abstract

One of the efforts to improve employee performance is through improvements in time management and communication within the organization. The increasing of time management and communication is expected to increase work motivation for employees. The increasing of employee’s motivation is also expected to have an impact on improving the performance of the employees themselves. This study aims to examine the employee performance through time management, communication and work motivation that was conducted at the Kepeng Money Craft Industry in Kamasan Village, Klungkung District, which involving all 40 company employees as research respondents. This research was conducted in a census. The distribution of questionnaire to the respondents is the method used in collecting the data, then the data is processed using the Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (PLS) method, through the SmartPLS 3.0 program, at a significance level of 0.05 (5%). The results of this study found that time management, communication, and work motivation each had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Time management has a significant positive effect on work motivation. Time management has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Communication has a significant positive effect on work motivation. Communication has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a significant positive effect on employee performance. Work motivation mediates some of the effects of time management on employee performance. Work motivation mediates some of the effects of communication on the performance of employees of the kepeng handicraft industry in Kamasan Village, Klungkung Regency.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to study the effect of entrepreneurship education, work environment, and self-efficacy on student interest in entrepreneurship. This research was conducted on students of the Faculty of Economics, Hindu University of Indonesia in 2016 who were taking entrepreneurship courses totaling 270 students. The number of samples is determined based on the Slovin formula with an error of 10%. Based on these calculations, a total sample of 79 students was obtained. Determining students who become samples is done randomly. Data collection is done by conducting interviews directly with respondents, based on a pre-arranged questionnaire. The collected data is then tabulated, then processed using the SmartPLS 3.0 program. The results of the hypothesis testing show that entrepreneurship education and family environments have a significant positive effect on students' interest in entrepreneurship. Meanwhile, self-efficacy shows positive results but does not significantly influence the interests of students to become entrepreneurs.Keywords: entrepreneurship education, family environment, self-efficacy, entrepreneurial interest  Pengaruh Pendidikan Kewirausahaan, Lingkungan Kerja, dan Efikasi Diri terhadap Minat Mahasiswa Berwirausaha Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian pengaruh pendidikan kewirausahaan, lingkungan kerja, dan efikasi diri terhadap minat mahasiswa untuk berwirausaha. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Hindu Indonesia angkatan tahun 2016 yang sedang mengambil mata kuliah kewirausahaan berjumlah 270 mahasiswa. Jumlah sampel penelitian ditentukan berdasarkan rumus Slovin dengan error 10%. Berdasarkan perhitungan tersebut diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 79 mahasiswa. Penentuan mahasiswa yang menjadi sampel penelitian dilakukan secara acak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara langsung kepada responden, berdasar pada kuesioner yang telah dipersiapkan. Data yang telah terkumpul selanjutnya dilakukan tabulasi, kemudian diolah dengan mempergunakan program SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan pendidikan kewirausahaan dan lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh secara positif signifikan terhadap minat mahasiswa untuk berwirausaha. Sedangkan, efikasi diri menunjukkan hasil yang positif, tetapi tidak signifikan berpengaruh terhadap minat mahasiswa untuk berwirausaha. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan kewirausahaan, Lingkungan keluarga, Efikasi diri, Minat berwirausaha

Abstract

Abstract: Companies are constantly trying to maintain customer trust and loyalty in an effort to preserve business sustainability. Implementing environmental concerns in the form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is expected to achieve both of these aims. This study aims to analyze the roles of CSR, customer trust, and customer loyalty in business sustainability. Questionnaires were filled by 10 customers from each of 100 Rural Banks spread over 9 districts/cities in Bali, Indonesia. Data analysis was performed with SmartPLS 3.3.2 software. The research found that CSR, customer trust, and customer loyalty have a significant impact on business sustainability. The results also found that customer trust and customer loyalty function as mediation in the relationship between CSR and business sustainability. Kuesioner diisi oleh 10 nasabah dari masing-masing 100 BPR yang tersebar di 9 kabupaten/kota di Bali, Indonesia. Analisis data dilakukan dengan software SmartPLS 3.3.2. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa CSR, kepercayaan pelanggan, dan loyalitas pelanggan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keberlangsungan bisnis. Abstract

Employees of a company are not an expenses but it is a corporate assetthat must be managed to be able support the organization to achieve its goals.Therefore, employees should be empowered through their engagement as much aspossible in different things in the company, especially on the planning, decisionmaking,implementationandevaluationaswellastakingtheproperstepstodealingwith the problems in their job responsibilities. Provide authority and greater involvement to employees is expected to foster a sense of satisfaction, thus indicatingfor better performance.This research aimed to conduct a study in effect of empowerment and job involvementon job satisfaction and employee performance at Koperasi Graha Santi Sanur. Thenumber of all employees to be respondents is 40 people. The data is processed byPartial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), and the result isfound that the empowerment and job involvement of employees showed a positiveand significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance.

Abstract

Customer loyalty is a key factor and important in maintaining and increasing the company’s revenue growth and profitability. Therefore, almost allcompanies constantly strive to keep its customers to be loyal to the company. Someopinions and results of some studies found that the key of the company’s success isin maintaining customer loyalty, quality of services and customer satisfaction, so inthis study is intended to analyze the role of customer satisfaction as a mediator of theeffects of service quality on customer loyalty. This study is took place at a companyengaged in manufacturing of agricultural producers of traditional medicine andhealth, namely PT . Karya Pak Oles Tocker, located at Jalan Komodo No. 38 - XDenpasar - Bal . This research was supported by75 respondents who are determinedbased on a Slovin formula, and processed with Partial Least Square method throughSmartPLS 2.0 M3 , the first-order approach, with the 95% confidence level. Theresults showed that no significant effect of service quality on customer loyalty, butshowed a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. In other parts,customer satisfaction is a significant positive effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style and physical work environment on employee morale. This research was conducted at CV. Dinayu convection which is located at Jalan Patih Nambi no 99, Ubung Kaja, Denpasar Utara. The population and sample of the study were all employees in the CV. Dinayu, totaling 54 people. The data collection method uses a questionnaire that generally contains respondents' perceptions of participative leadership style, physical work environment, and employee morale. Data analysis was performed with multiple regression linear tests. The results of this study indicate that the leadership and work environment variables have a positive and significant effect on employee morale in the CV. Dinayu conjunction convection.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to analyze (1) the influence of organizational culture on positive work behavior; (2) the influence of organizational culture and innovative work behavior on employee performance; and (3) the role of innovative work behavior in mediates the relationship of organizational culture with employee performance. The study was conducted at the Rural Credit Bank (RCB) in Badung Regency, Bali Province. The number of research samples is 52 RCB. The respondents in this study are 156 employees. The data is analyzed using SmartPLS 3.2.8 program. The result shows that organizational culture shows a significant positive effect on innovative work behavior. Work culture and innovative work behavior also have a significant positive effect on employee performance at RCB. It is concluded that innovative work behavior acts as a mediator in the relationship between organizational culture and the performance of RCB employees. Keywords: organizational culture, innovative work behavior, employee performance  Prestasi Kerja Inovatif Sebagai Mediasi Budaya Organisasi Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis (1) pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap perilaku kerja positif; (2) pengaruh budaya organisasi dan perilaku kerja inovatif terhadap kinerja pegawai; dan (3) peran perilaku kerja inovatif dalam memediasi hubungan budaya organisasi dengan kinerja pegawai. Penelitian dilakukan di Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) di Kabupaten Badung, Provinsi Bali. Jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 52 RCB. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 156 karyawan. Data dianalisis menggunakan program SmartPLS 3.2.8. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif. Budaya kerja dan perilaku kerja inovatif juga berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di RCB. Disimpulkan bahwa perilaku kerja inovatif berperan sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara budaya organisasi dengan kinerja pegawai RCB. Kata kunci: budaya organisasi, perilaku kerja yang inovatif, kinerja karyawan
