Abstract

The success of the learning objectives is determined by many factors including the teacher factor in implementing the teaching and learning process, because teachers can directly influence, foster and improve the intelligence and skills of learners. To overcome the above problems and to achieve the goal of education maximally, the role of teachers is very important and it is expected that teachers have a good method of teaching and able to choose the right method of learning and One of the appropriate learning model on learning Indonesian is the method of pembelajaran tanya jawab.Permasalahan which wanted to be studied in this research is: Whether through the use of question and answer learning method can improve learning outcomes Indonesian learner Class IV SDN 35 Sungai Limau The purpose of this action research is to improve the learning outcomes of Indonesia through the use of question and answer learning methods in participants educated SDN 35 Sungai Limau. This study used a classroom action research of two rounds. Each round consists of four stages: planning, execution, observation, reflection. The target of this research is students of Class IV SDN 35 Sungai Limau. The data obtained are quantitative and qualitative data. From the analysis of question and answer learning method has positive impact in improving learners 'learning result which is marked by the improvement of students' learning mastery in every cycle, that is Pre cycle (58.14%), cycle I (72.09% ), cycle II (97.67%). The conclusion of this research is the method of question and answer learning has a positive influence, that is can improve learners' learning outcomes that are indicated by the average answers of learners that states that learners are interested and interested in the method of question and answer learning so that they become motivated to learn.

Abstract

Achievement or not the purpose of learning is determined by many factors such as teachers in implementing the process of teaching and learning, because teachers can directly influence, foster and improve students' intelligence and skills. To overcome the above problems and to achieve the goal of education maximally, the role of teachers is very important and expected teachers to have a good method of teaching and able to choose the appropriate learning methods and in accordance with the concepts of subjects to be delivered. One of the proper learning model in science learning is Snowball Throwing learning model. Problems to be studied in this research are: Is it through the use of Snowball Throwing learning model to improve the results of science fantasy Class IV SDN 29 Sungai Limau? The purpose of this action research is to improve the learning outcomes of IPA Class IV SDN 29 Sungai Limau through the Snowball Throwing learning model. This study used a classroom action research of two rounds. Each round consists of four stages: planning, execution, observation, reflection. Target of this research is student of Class IV SDN 29 Sungai Limau. The data obtained are quantitative and qualitative data. From the analysis result of IPA learning model has positive impact in improving student learning outcomes marked by the improvement of students' learning mastery in every cycle, that is cycle I 52.63%, and cycle II 94.37%. The conclusion of this research is the Snowball Throwing learning model has a positive influence, that is to improve student learning outcomes which is indicated by the average of students' answers stating that students are interested and interested in the learning model of Snowball Throwing so that they become motivated to learn.

Abstract

Diarrhea is a leading cause of suffering and mortality among children, accounting for approximately 9% of all deaths of children under the age of 5 worldwide in 2021. This study aims to determine the relationship between the availability of basic sanitation facilities (clean water facilities and toilet conditions) and Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers at Puskesmas Tanah Pasir, North Aceh Regency, in 2024. This research employs a descriptive-analytic method with a cross-sectional design, involving 95 mothers with toddlers. The sample was taken using purposive sampling, and data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. The results show that the availability of clean water facilities has a significant relationship with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers (p value = 0,005), toilet conditions also have a significant relationship with the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers (p value = 0,000), and PHBS behavior is significantly related to the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers (p value = 0,003). It is recommended that health workers enhance collaboration with cross-sector stakeholders and conduct continuous education and outreach programs.

Abstract

Based on data findings from the Jambi City Health Office, the Paal X Health Center experienced a significant downward trend in data and was the lowest health center in exclusive breastfeeding. Initial surveys conducted at the Paal X Health Center showed that there were several mothers who gave breast milk but were assisted by formula milk before the age of 6 months. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship of parity and husband support to exclusive breastfeeding. This type of research uses quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The research was conducted in June 2022 using incidental sampling. The sample amounted to 90 people. The results showed that there was a relationship between husband support and exclusive breastfeeding (p value = 0.000) and there was no relationship between parity and exclusive breastfeeding (p value = 0.098). It is recommended that the Paal X Health Center provide a more intensive socialization or counseling program for nursing mothers or pregnant women, as well as their families. So that not only in the health center, counseling outside the health center can also be done such as posyandu. Keywords: Exclusive breastfeeding, family support, parity

Abstract

Based on data from the Bengkulu City Health Office in 2020, gastritis ranked sixth out of the ten largest diseases, with a total of 13,471 cases. The highest incidence of gastritis is in the Nusa Indah Health Center working area with 620 cases. The highest incidence of gastritis in 2020 was 98 patients. Nusa Indah Village, most people do not pay attention to healthy living habits because of their busy daily lives. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors associated with gastritis recurrence. The research method uses a cross sectional research design. The population in the study amounted to 98 people with a sample size of 49 respondents with random sampling technique. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate. The results of the study with statistical tests showed the value of stress p value: 0.000, diet p value 0.006, and the use of drugs p value 0.010. It is recommended for the health center to consider the importance of health counseling and management to reduce the recurrence of gastritis in the form of factors that trigger gastritis recurrence so that visits with complaints of gastritis recurrence are reduced.Keywords: Gastritis, Stress, Diet, Medication Use

Abstract

Based on an initial survey in the Makmur Village of the Pangkalan Kerinci II BLUD Puskesmas Working Area of 8 elderly DM, it was found that the elderly often forgot when putting their own things, forgot the day, date and even often forgot what was just discussed, 5 elderly people did not remember the elderly posyandu schedule or blood sugar control schedule. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between risk factors for decreased cognitive function in the elderly with diabetes mellitus. This type of research uses quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The research was conducted in June 2023 using total sampling. The sample amounted to 167 people. The results showed that there was a relationship between family support (p value: 0.001) and physical activity (p value: 0.000) on the decline in cognitive function in the elderly with DM. It is recommended to the Puskesmas to increase elderly Posyandu activities and make health promotion efforts to DM sufferers and families.    Keywords: Diabetes, Family Support, Elderly.

Abstract

The ability to think creatively in a mathematical context is essential for students in the 21st century. In a global creativity survey carried out in 2015 by the Martins Prosperity Index, Indonesia was positioned 115th among 139 countries, with a score of 0.202, included in low category. One strategy to address this issue is by nurturing students' creative thinking skills in mathematics education. One exciting option for teaching is Problem-based Learning. This study aims to reevaluate how the Problem-based Learning approach can improve students' creative thinking skills in mathematics, building on existing research findings. The research method employed is meta-analysis, which involves the following steps; (1) formulate the topic; (2) overall study design; (3) sampling; (4) data collection; and (5) data analysis. Based on the results of the study, an average effect size of 1,057 was obtained in the high category. Meanwhile, based on the t-test enhancement test, obtained t_value=17,020≥t_table=1,648. In conclusion, the average performance of classes utilizing Problem-based Learning is higher than that of classes using other models. The further research is needed regarding the application of Problem-based Learning to cube and cuboid material at junior high school level because the related research is the only research reviewed that has a medium effect size value

Abstract

Stunting is a condition where children under the age of 5 cannot grow properly due to chronic malnutrition, leading to them being too short for their age. The aim of this study is to analyze factors related to the growth and development delay of toddlers in the Syamtalira Aron Community Health Center. The research design used a cross-sectional correlational approach on the population of mothers with stunted toddlers in the working area of the Syamtalira Aron Community Health Center. The sampling technique employed total sampling, and 38 mother-child pairs with stunting were obtained as research respondents. Data collection took place from October 18 to 29, 2021. The data were analyzed using Fisher's exact test (α=95%). The results showed a correlation between the mother's height (p = 0.014), family income (p = 0.000), and exclusive breastfeeding (p = 0.033) with the prevalence of stunting in toddlers. Meanwhile, the variable not associated was the mother's educational level (p = 0.062). In conclusion, the research indicates a correlation between the mother's height, family income, and exclusive breastfeeding with the incidence of stunting in toddlers. It is recommended that relevant authorities collaborate to prevent stunting early on. Mothers are encouraged to proactively engage in preventive efforts by increasing knowledge and awareness to control pregnancy, understanding how to achieve and meet the nutritional needs of toddlers, ensuring that the process of toddler growth and development is optimized.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi maupun pengaruh utama limbah cair kelapa sawit dan grand-K terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kubis. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor yaitu faktor pertama limbah cair kelapa sawit (L) terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu 0, 150, 300 dan 450 ml per tanaman. Faktor kedua Grand-K (K) terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu 0; 1,25; 2,50; dan 3,75 g per tanaman. Parameter yang diamati umur pembentukan krop, umur panen, berat segar tanaman, berat segar krop dan lilit krop. Data pengamatan dianalisis secara statistik dan dilanjutkan dengan uji BNJ pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi limbah cair kelapa sawit dan pupuk grand-K berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter umur pembentukan krop, umur panen, berat segar tanaman, berat segar krop dan lilit krop. Perlakuan terbaik kombinasi dosis limbah cair kelapa sawit 450 ml/pertanaman dan pupuk Grand-K 3,75 g/tanaman. Pengaruh utama limbah cair kelapa sawit nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan. Perlakuan terbaik limbah cair kelapa sawit dengan dosis 450 ml/tanaman Pengaruh utama pupuk grand-K nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan. Perlakuan terbaik grand-K dengan dosis 3,75 g/tanaman.

Abstract

The teaching tools are crucial for teachers in delivering instructional material. However, the development of learning tools that meet content standards and are of high quality is still quite rare. This research aims to develop and evaluate the quality of Project-Based Outdoor Learning (PjBOL) tools for geometry to enhance problem-solving skills. The research sample consists of students from classes VII D and VII E at SMP Negeri 2 Ungaran. The research method used is Research and Development with the Four-D model: Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate. The research instruments include expert assessment sheets, student response sheets, and problem-solving ability tests. Data analysis focuses on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results indicate that: (1) the developed PjBOL tools include Learning Objectives Flow, Teaching Modules, and Learning Materials for geometry to enhance problem-solving skills; and (2) the PjBOL tools are of high quality as they meet the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The test results show that the problem-solving abilities of students using PjBOL are higher in average and proportion compared to those using Discovery Learning, and there is an improvement in students' problem-solving abilities. Based on these findings, PjBOL tools effectively enhance problem-solving skills. Perangkat pembelajaran merupakan alat yang sangat penting untuk guru dalam menyampaikan materi ajar. Namun pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan standar isi dan berkualitas masih sangat jarang dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kualitas perangkat Project Based Outdoor Learning (PjBOL) materi Geometri untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Sampel penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas VII D dan VII E SMP Negeri 2 Ungaran. Metode penelitian adalah Research and Development dengan model Four-D yakni Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar penilaian ahli, lembar respon peserta didik, dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) perangkat PjBOL yang dikembangkan meliputi Alur Tujuan Pembelajaran, Modul Ajar, dan Bahan Ajar materi Geometri untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah, dan (2) perangkat PjBOL berkualitas karena memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif dengan hasil tes tuntas secara klasikal, rata-rata dan proporsi kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik dengan PjBOL lebih dari rata-rata dan proporsi kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik dengan Discovery Learning, serta terdapat peningkatan pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, perangkat PjBOL mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah.
