Abstract

The assessment activities carried out were motivated by the lack of understanding of students' mathematical concepts when solving problems, the learning process was still one-way, and learning was less meaningful. The assessment process aims to improve teacher activity, student activity, mathematical critical thinking skills, and student learning outcomes using the DANDELION model. This study included the type of classroom action research through qualitative and quantitative approaches conducted in four meetings at SDN Berangas 1 in class V with a total of 15 students. Qualitative data were obtained from observations and interviews. Qualitative data were obtained from observations and interviews. Quantitative data are obtained from written tests both individually and in groups. In the study that occurred explained that teacher activities had been realized according to the learning model procedures to reach a score of 35 with very active criteria, student activity increased to reach a classical percentage of 93% with very active criteria, mathematical critical thinking skills increased to reach a classical percentage of 93% with very skilled criteria, and student learning outcomes continued to increase with a classical percentage of 100% until reaching success indicators

Abstract

Community Language Learning is a method where the teacher becomes a counselor in the classroom, so that the relationship between teacher and students is more towards the practice of English in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to improve students' English speaking ability by using the Community Language Learning method in the eighth grade of SMP N 10 Tarakan and to describe students' perceptions related to the use of the method. This study used Classroom Action Research design with a total of two cycles and each cycle had four meetings, and involved participants as many as 25 eighth grade students. The research data were obtained from document data, interviews and students' speaking test results. The data were analyzed qualitatively using descriptive statistics and qualitatively using thematic analysis. The results showed that in the first cycle students who scored above the KKM were 11 students and for the second cycle it increased to 21 students. The challenges in using the community language learning method are: teacher and student readiness, teaching media and evaluation of students' speaking ability due to limited time allocation conditions.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of reading corners in enhancing literacy among early childhood learners at Thiflah Early Childhood Education (ECE) in Aceh Besar, Indonesia. Employing a phenomenological research design with qualitative methods, this study aims to understand the subjective experiences of educators and learners about literacy enhancement strategies. The research incorporated observations, interviews, and documentation, with a focus on the role of the reading corner in fostering literacy. Results indicated significant improvements in children’s engagement and comprehension in reading, writing, and arithmetic, attributed to the interactive and play-oriented learning environment. However, challenges such as insufficient resources and reliance on student teachers with limited experience were identified. The findings suggest that the reading corner approach, aligning with Indonesia's National Literacy Movement, can be a viable model for enhancing early literacy in various educational settings. The study recommends further research into the effectiveness of reading corners in diverse ECE contexts and emphasizes the need for resource enhancement and teaching methodology improvements. These insights are crucial for developing engaging, child-centric learning environments for early literacy development and overall child growth, contributing significantly to Indonesia's National Literacy Movement.

Abstract

Learning media plays an important role in a learning system. However, the COVID-19 pandemic several years ago changed many things in the learning system. Therefore, various applications are needed that are able to support distance learning when unforeseen things happen, such as natural disasters or disease outbreaks. Therefore, various applications were created so that learning can be done at any time. The purpose of building this application is to facilitate students and teachers in carrying out the teaching and learning process, especially science major students as users, where the learning process is an activity carried out by a teacher who serves as a presenter and students as recipients. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach method. The conventional teaching and learning process is not in accordance with the government program which recommends an online teaching and learning process. SMAN 1 Panyipatan is one of the high schools that still uses conventional methods, it’s still less efficient because the media used does not attract student interest. Apart from that, students are also given assignments manually, such as giving paper assignments, reading questions directly or writing questions on the blackboard. The solution to this problem can be solved by building a web-based e–Learning media application in the science department at SMAN 1 Panyipatan. This application was built using the PHP programming language and data storage uses a MySql database which is expected to help students and teachers in carrying out the teaching and learning process. Diagram design uses Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). Key Words: Application, E–Learning, Learning Media, Web.

Abstract

Artikel ini memberikan analisis dan mengkonsolidasikan literatur yang ada tentang kepuasan penumpang, mengeksplorasi berbagai macam studi tentang variabel yang relevan dan memeriksa hubungan potensial di antara artikel yang ada. Bahwa peran penumpang bagi bandara di abad ke-21 telah ditemukan, dimana penumpang seharusnya tidak hanya sebagai pembeli barang dan jasa untuk dieksploitasi demi mendapatkan keuntungan, namun juga diberikan kepuasan sesuai dengan standar pelayanan yang berlaku. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan tinjauan literatur, dengan sumber referensi dari metode library research, media online, Google Scholar, Crossref dan Mendeley. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan dengan merangkum beberapa artikel dan mendiskusikan pengaruh di antara variabel yang berbeda terhadap kepuasan penumpang. Studi tentang kepuasan penumpang dalam rangkuman artikel literatur ini secara eksplisit berfokus pada bagaimana fasilitas umum, kualitas layanan dan kinerja petugas yang berorientasi pada penumpang mempengaruhi dan berdampak langsung pada keberlangsungan bandara agar tetap berjalan dan berkelanjutan. Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk membangun dasar konseptual untuk memahami pendekatan-pendekatan untuk mendapatkan kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan bagi sebuah bandar udara. Evaluasi kualitas layanan tidak boleh dipandang dari perspektif bandar udara, melainkan harus dilihat dari sudut pandang penilaian penumpang. Oleh karena itu, dalam mengembangkan strategi dan program layanan, bandara harus fokus pada kebutuhan penumpang dengan mempertimbangkan elemen-elemen kualitas layanan.

Abstract

Organizing travel between the travel agency and its consumers, namely service users, has a legal relationship that creates responsibilities, rights and obligations between the parties. This human relationship in Islam is known as muamalah. One thing that people often do is an agreement. In Arabic, an agreement is 'uquud' which means a (recorded) contract agreement. Legal consequences will arise if business actors do not carry out their obligations properly and consumers will complain if the results received are not in accordance with the agreement at the time of the sale and purchase transaction that was carried out. In a contract or agreement, if the business actor can fulfill his obligations well then the business actor has made an achievement, but if the business actor has been negligent and cannot fulfill his obligations well then a default will arise. Apart from that, business actors or in this case travel agencies can also be subject to criminal penalties, Article 61 UUPK "criminal prosecution can be carried out against business actors and their management". It is also stated in Article 62 "Paragraph (1) Business actors who violate the provisions as intended in Article 8, Article 9, Article 10, Article 13 paragraph (2), Article 15, Article 17 paragraph (1) letter a, letter b, letter c, letter e, paragraph (2) and Article 18 shall be punished with a maximum imprisonment of 5 (five) years or a maximum fine of Rp. 2,000,000,000.00 (two billion rupiah). Paragraph (2) Business actors who violate the provisions as intended in Article 11, Article 12, Article 13 paragraph (1), Article 14, Article 16, and Article 17 paragraph (1) letters d and letter f shall be sentenced to imprisonment for a maximum of 2 (two) ) years or a maximum fine of IDR 500,000,000.00 (five hundred million rupiah)

Abstract

Acquiring education is crucial for attaining success in life, and top-notch education is the cornerstone for producing competent workforce. Malaysia, being one of the nations with the finest education system, places significant emphasis on early childhood education by implementing the National Preschool Standard Curriculum (KSPK). Tadika Tahfidz Nur Furqan implements individual learning methods to enhance the reading skills of children aged between 4-6 years. The ability to read is a crucial aspect of preschool education, and this study aims to examine the effectiveness of these individual learning methods in reading lessons at Tadika Tahfidz Nur Furqan. The study found that this teaching method has multiple advantages such as adapting to individual student abilities, quick progress, parental involvement, material adaptation, and the use of individual record books. However, it also has some drawbacks such as limited parental involvement, difficulty in handling student diversity, and time constraints. It is crucial for the school to focus on students with special needs and encourage parental involvement to provide a more well-rounded education. This study examines individual learning methods in early childhood education in Malaysia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of the Quran memorization program at Darul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School in Medan. Utilizing qualitative methods, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model to explore how the boarding school designs and implements its Quran memorization program. The findings indicate that Darul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School has a well-structured Quran memorization program. The principal plays a crucial role in designing the program and providing guidance to teachers. Furthermore, the teachers at the school are creative in employing various teaching methods to maintain student engagement and prevent boredom. Additionally, the boarding school has a clear assessment system to track and measure student progress.

Abstract

The Joyfull Learning Method is a revolutionary approach in the world of early childhood education that emphasizes learning through positive experiences, creativity and fun interactions. This research evaluates the effectiveness of the Joyfull Learning method in increasing the literacy of children aged 4-6 years in Tadika Mysarah Padang Serai, Kedah. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which includes observations over a 1 month period, interviews with teachers and parents, as well as analysis of curriculum materials used in the Joyfull Learning method. The research results show that the Joyfull Learning method is effective in creating a learning environment that stimulates children's interest and creativity. During the observation period, children responded positively, demonstrated high levels of participation in literacy activities, and demonstrated an increase in interest in learning to read and write. The conclusion of this research is that the Joyfull Learning method is a very effective tool in increasing the literacy of children aged 4-6 years in Tadika Mysarah Padang Serai.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the legal learning strategies and models for early childhood education which were implemented at RA Kawakibi Deli Serdang . This research uses a qualitative case study method, uses the Miles Hubberman model analysis technique. This research was conducted at RA Kawakibi Deli Serdang . The focus of this research is on models of learning legal aspects for young children, with the hope of internalizing and increasing understanding of legal values from an early age, so that young children are able to implement legal values both in the family , school and community environments, as quoted by Zeece states that the development of children's sensitivity and understanding of what other people think, feel and do is important for the effective functioning of their social world. This understanding is able to enable children to recognize, organize and explain, and sometimes predict, the behavior of other people ( Zeece , 2000). Based on research conducted, the legal learning model for early childhood is: (1) introducing law in the simplest way, (2) integrated with learning in other aspects, (3) learning in a contextual way. Meanwhile, the influencing factors are: (1) teachers' knowledge of the law, (2) parents' knowledge of the law, and (3) capacity and ability to be responsible for the law.
