Abstract

AbstrakTulisan ini merupakan bagian penelitian kualitatif studi kasus pasca konflik lingkungan yang terjadi di Kecamatan Merigi Sakti Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah Provinsi Bengkulu. Perempuan Merigi Sakti hanyalah representasi dari suara-suara perempuan yang “terbungkam” selama konflik dan pasca konflik oleh karena sistem sosial ataupun birokratis. Pentingnya memahami bahasa tutur perempuan dalam konflik karena perempuan dapat bercerita sesuai dengan apa yang menjadi keluhan dasar masyarakat desa ketika kehidupan mereka terganggu. Perempuan (khususnya perempuan desa) sebagai penyedia pangan oleh peran gender tradisional mereka, juga sebagai pihak yang paling bertanggungjawab atas pengasuhan anak dan mengurus rumah tangga. Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya kontradiktif yang terjadi antara perempuan dan masyarakat di Merigi Sakti. Suara perempuan Merigi Sakti lebih tertarik menekankan hubungan mereka satu sama lain.Kata kunci: bahasa; perempuan; konflik lingkungan; gender; merigi saktiAbstractsThis paper is part of a qualitative research with case study approaches of post-conflict environmental that happen in Merigi Sakti Sub-district, Central Bengkulu Regency, Bengkulu Province.  Women in Merigi Sakti are just a representation of female voices that are "silenced" during conflict and post conflict because of social or bureaucratic system. The importance of understanding the speech language of women in conflict because women can tell stories in accordance with what is the basic complaint of the village community when their lives are disturbed. Women (especially rural women) as food providers by their traditional gender roles, as well as those most responsible for child care and housekeeping. This study shows the contradictions that occur between women and men in Merigi Sakti. The voices presented by women in Merigi Sakti emphasize more on each others relationships and the voices associated with domestic activities in women.Keywords: language; women; environment conflict; gender; merigi sakti

Abstract

Social media brings the new form of communication process, which appeared bad side of hoax messages dissemination. This study aims to find out how the media documents that include the contents of hoax messages, especially elaboration of hoax messages in the Facebook group INFO WONG SOLO with qualitative methods. This study shows, the Facebook group becomes the hoax information dissemination media. Unrecognised hoax informants are more likely to be found than informants with clear accounts. Hoax message informants tend to do political propaganda in the hoax message script. Strong argument types are used to support the informant's interests. So the audience need to recognize the characteristics of hoax messages and filtering of all information received.

Abstract

This essay deals with power, especially in terms of politics.After a short discussion of the definitions of power, this essay emphasizes models of power with illustrations of the implementation of power in the Indonesian context. The models of power include the voluntary, hermeneutic, structural, and post-modernism model of power.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how drug dealers showed their identity communication. This research is a qualitative research which applied a case study as its research method. The data were collected by interviews. Then, the collected data were analysed using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The research took place at the detention centre of the Central Java National Narcotics Board. The conclusions of this research using four layers are personal, enacted, relational, and communal on the communication of identity theory by Michael Hecht. It show that partisipants hide or disclose their identities based on how others respond to them. The stigma of others triggered partisipants to hide their identities by pretending not to know, diverting the conversation about drugs or being silent, and feeling anxious. There were also identity gaps in: (1) personal and enacted layers, (2) personal and relational layers, and (3) personal and communal layers.

Abstract

Ahmad Jaelani, an Instagram influencer who adopted Mimi Peri as their new identity, plays a significant role in the emergence of digital queer phenomena in Indonesian cyber society. Ahmad Jaelani triggered the digital queer phenomena when he came out as gender queer. Jaelani’s brave act to adopt Mimi Peri identity resulted from various identity struggle. Before conforming to his new identity, he went through several stages, such as identity confusion, identity comparison, identity tolerance, identity acceptance, identity pride, and finally identity synthesis. He conveys his new identity through innovation and creativity, which are presented in several layers, such as personal layers, enactment layers, relational layers, and communal layers.

Abstract

The development of information technology in recent years has led to various types of information media platforms, including websites and social media. The use of mobile devices has also become a digital trend to access the internet, because this device can be taken anywhere and can be accessed the internet anytime we want. With the presence of technological developments can increase digital literacy in the community. Digital literacy in question is the ability of people to understand and use information from various digital sources. Through this article, the author wants to provide a general description of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia in innovating media convergence in the digital age. The results of this study found the fact that in adapting to the era of digital literacy, the KLI Bureau decided to create a new digital media using the Visual Communication approach for its content using a microsite platform to implement digital convergence media publishing strategies, and named Visual Kemenkeu (VK).

Abstract

As a multicultural nation Indonesia has various numbers of ethnicity, language, culture and religion. The diversity sometimes cause dynamics in social life including horizontal conflict which one of the reasons behind it is the difference of identity in terms of religion. Religion issue becomes one sensitive issue for plural society which potentially create ?disunity? both in online and the offline spheres. That issue is not separated from the convenience of using social media. The purpose of this research is to portray the reality that really occurs in online and offline spaces related to identity management in multi-religious interaction. What was meant by online space is related to social media literacy, namely observing the dynamics of interaction on religious issues. Whereas in the offline space, this research illustrates the interactions that occur in the management of multi-religious identity in the community of Wiloso hamlet, Girikarto Village, Panggang District, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta. This research is qualitative with the phenomenology approach, the theory that was used is the identity management theory. The data collection was carried out through observation and in-depth interviews also study of various literature. The result of the research shows that social media has the connection to the emergence of conflict regarding differences in religious identity, especially on political momentum. Whereas in the offline sphere religious harmony can be  established because the differences are not seen as differences but are interpreted as wealth in a plural nation.

Abstract

This study aims to see how agricultural extension workers in Pandeglang district design a message on Plant Calendar from the Elaboration Likelihood Model Theory. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with case study approach. The results showed that agricultural extension workers in Pandeglang district have applied empathy logic to the farmers, by responding to how the farmers in the region got and processed information about planting calendar. The peasants unconsciously mempraksiskan ELM theory which then responded empathetically by agricultural extension with a strong argument based on data. The conclusions of this research are (1) to compile information based on accurate data, in order to manifest a message based on fact, concerning the content or content of extension material, (2) to animate the speech in a strong argumentation frame by selecting and sorting the word, diction and other language elements, (3) participatory logic. This logic can be a strong argumentation by plunging into the fields, so that the distance between the farmers.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed students consumer behavior from offline to online. The problem in this research is how students’ consumer behavior in online shopping in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the modification of consumer behavior due to regulations and procedures for shopping and buying the products they need. This research is a quantitative study using a survey method. This study is a quantitative research using a survey method. Sampling was done by stratified random sampling, the number of those students FISIP UNS involved as many as 80 people. The results and conclusions of research show that in online shopping, there is a modification of consumer behavior related student needs product, information search, evaluation prior to purchase or an alternative choice, and in the decision to buy or use the product.

Abstract

This study aimed to see the image of PT Djarum as a cigarette company during a polemic through big data approach. The public was shocked by the news that PB Djarum would terminate the Badminton scholarship that had been held for the past twelve years. It started when KPAI considered that there was an intention to exploit children using the brand of PT Djarum. Although the problem was over, the polemic had seized the public's attention. This research was an analysis of quantitative and qualitative content from Twitter social media. Quantitative analysis in the form of sentiment analysis was carried out utilising the results of 26,677 tweets data from online platforms based on big data from Drone Emprit Academic. Qualitative analysis was carried out Critical Discourse using van Dijk's model. The analysis revealed that PT Djarum has succeeded in building a positive image through its CSR program, which can be seen from the support of the majority of the Indonesian people as reflected in Twitter conversation.
