Abstract

Abstact: The purpose of this study is to improve student’s understanding about physic concept of fluid dynamic topic with implementation REACT strategy. There were 70 students of SMA N 7 Pekanbaru in XI MIA 2 dan XI MIA 3 participated as research subject in this study. We used lesson plan and student worksheet of fluid dynamic as learning materials. The instrument that used to measure the level of understanding physic concept was comprehension test. The data taken in this study analyzed descriptively. Based on the data analysis, we found that understanding concept of experimental class using REACT strategy better than control class using conventional learning. Thus it can be concluded that the REACT strategy can improve student’s concept understanding on fluid dynamic materials.Keywords: Fluid dynamic, REACT strategy, understanding physics concept

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to determine students 'motivation to learn physics through the application of learning models PDEODE and know the difference between the students' motivation to learn physics class that implements the learning model Predict, Discuss, Explain, Observe, Discuss, Explain (PDEODE) with a class that implements the conventional learning. This type of research is a Quasi-experimental, with the draft Non-equivalent control group design. The subjects in this study is a class XI IPA 3 with the application of learning models PDEODE and class XI IPA 5 with the application of conventional learning. The data in this study a questionnaire score students' motivation to learn physics after learning model application PDEODE were analyzed descriptively. Further differences between the students' motivation to learn physics class that implements the learning model PDEODE with a class that implements the conventional study were analyzed using N-Gain. Based on the analysis of data obtained by the N-gain average of students in classes that implement learning models PDEODE middle category with an average N-Gain 0.34, while in the class that implements the conventional learning motivation to learn the average student is at the low category with an average N-Gain 0.12. It can be concluded that the application of learning models PDEODE can increase the motivation to learn physics class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Rengat. Key Words: PDEODE learning, motivation learn.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to find out the improvement of the students motivation learning physic by applying REACT model of Contextual learning.This pre-experimental research used one group pretest and posttest design. There were 35 students of clas XI IPA I SMA Negeri 7 Pekanbaru have participated in this research. We used modification ARCS question one of motivation as instrument in collecting data, before and after treatment. The data were analyzed descriptive by using N-Gain. From the data, we found that N-Gain score in high category for all indicators. And, we can conclude that REACT model have improved students motivation in learning physis especially for class XI IPA I students of SMA Negeri 7 Pekanbaru.Key Words: ARCS, Learning Physics, REACT model

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the emotional intelligence in children aged 4-5 years through play a role in TK Islam Bakti III Desa Kemang Indah subdistrict Mine Kampar regency. This study is kind studies using action research or (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action planning, observation / evaluation and reflection. Subject empirically n are children aged 4-5 years are numbered 17 children in kindergarten Islam Bakti III , The research data obtained through observation and data analysis was done by using quantitative descriptive analysis. t research shows that playing the role may increase emotional intelligence in children aged 4-5 years. It can be seen from the increase in the average percentage of emotional intelligence in the first cycle of 61.44% which is the criterion developing according to expectations (BSH) and an increase of 34.44% in the second cycle be 82.60% which is very good at developing criteria (BSB). So, playing the role of can improve emotional intelligence of children aged 4-5 years in TK Islam Bakti III Desa Kemang Mining District of Kampar regency.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to find out the difference of cognitive ability of students class XI IPA at SMA Negeri 1 Rengat in learning physics between the class that is applying PDEODE learning and the class with conventional learning. Intact Group Comparison is used as the design of this research. The samples in this research are 76 students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Rengat and divided into experimental class and control class. The instrument in this research is a cognitive ability test consisting of 20 questions in categories C1 to C4. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The result of this research shows that score of cognitive ability in implementation of PDEODE learning group is 78,55 in good category and in conventional learning group score of cognitive ability is 73,82 in good category. Based on the analysis of the data, it shows that the cognitive ability of the students in the experimental class is higher than the control class. The inferential analysis shows that there was a significant difference with t (74) = 2,495, p < 0,05 in 95% confidence interval of the difference. It can be concluded that learning PDEODE is better than conventional learning.

Abstract

Abstract : This R & D research aimed  to design, create, and validating an experimental video-based worksheets of the law of conservation of angular momentum as a media of physics learning in senior high school. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Physics Education Riau University in December 2014 until June 2015. The research products developed based on the flowchart and storyboard that has been designed. Three lecturers physical education and two senior teachers of physics has validated this product. The finding of the research showed that the video of angular momentum conservation laws experiments has a validity index of 3.48 and  video-trial based worksheets the law of conservation of momentum has a validity index of 3.49. Based on the validity index, showed that experimental video and video-trial based worksheet declared in valid. Keywords: the law of the conservation of angular momentum, video-trial based worksheet
